I made a mistake in coming back here the second time to get…read morethe new fatpacks for Topps football and the first time the employees that helped me was so touchy and strict about my request to get the particular pack of cards they wouldn't even let me see or touch the packs as if i was going to open them but I still ended up buying over $100 worth of cards. The second time, although I was hesitant to go because of my previous experience. I was helped by I think a manager and she did the same thing and said that they are not allowed to have people pick or touch the card packs. Wow! Are you serious? Then I just left the store after that. No wonder this store has 2 star average score. I've been to two other Dick's stores (Oceanside and El Cajon) both stores are the total opposite and allows their customers to pick items that they prefer. The the one in Oceanside was definitely had the nicest staff!

There were four workers and they were very slow at helping, mind you it was not busy at all in the store. The last straw was asking for a shoe size and no one coming back for 10 mins. At that point, I left with nothing and decided to go to the Big 5 Sporting Goods at Las Americas and they helped me the second I arrived into the store. Very disappointed in the Saturn Blvd store. Not worth the hassle.

I usually find good deals on cleats and other accessories for each sport. This location seems to have a good stock of everything. Sometimes racks are cluttered, shelves and racks are too close to one another, and shoes racks/tables are messy. Walking in, as I pass the register area, I feel racks galore. Perhaps, re-organization of racks and create more space between them will appear not so overwhelming. Staff at register are friendly and staff on the floor are helpful. The customer service is superior at this store. A guy helped me on a Saturday and he was so patient. My son wanted very specific things. He literally looked all over the store for some soccer shoes that I had gone to 5 stores and were sold out. They had a jersey that had literally just came out. The prices are high but it's definitely the best of the best. Highly recommend!

Plenty of workers around to assist you. They had a better selection of shoes than the other athletic store in plaza rio. Prices for American goods here are more expensive than in the us. So if you can cross border to buy things in America it is cheaper to buy these kind of things in the us. But if you can't then this is a nice place to buy the stuff you need for working out.

I've been…read morein this store quite a few times and they typically have a HUGE selection of Stanley, Yeti, Owala, and Hydroflask drinking vessels in addition to other brands. Today as I browsed around, I noted that the store was overwhelmed with World Cup gear which is cool, but the merchandise that I saw, including Jerseys, t-shirts, shorts, etc., was really crowded and disorganized and it looked like the Tasmanian Devil had whirled himself through it. The aisles were also impossibly packed with stuff, and it made passing other customers an obstacle course. Anyway, I also walked past the flip-flops with the intention of possibly purchasing a new pair for the summer. Leather Olukais were almost $90, simple Havaianas were over $40, and plastic Birks were $50. Needless to say, I didn't buy any... I'll stick with my beloved & comfy Reefs that I bought last summer. Finally, I walked over the water bottles... There was one type of Stanley straws available and they were $11.25. I looked online and the same straws were originally priced at $15 , but were on sale for $9. There were no Stanley "boots" in the store, so I couldn't get one of those. They had some made by another brand, and a few Owala ones, but none of the colors worked with my tumbler. So I just decided to get the straws. I asked the cashier if they honor online prices, and she said they did which I appreciated. She looked at my phone and said, "oh these other straws are the ones that are on sale." I said, "these straws (in my hand) are the only ones that you have in the store." And then she agreed to give me the discount... Keep in mind that the prices of the same item were different online vs. in store, and then the higher priced straws were discounted even further. Buyer beware... I left the store with my straws in hand, and a burning desire not to return to this store again, unless I absolutely have to, as the shopping experience was mediocre in my opinion. Mahalo!

The prices are usually better than other nearby sporting goods places. Plus they have a small collection of odds and ends that make great stocking stuffers. I recently had an issue with a purchase and the store manager stepped in and helped resolve it. He definitely went above and beyond.

The attendant that assisted me was patient while I tried different brands and such. In the end, I was able to find a good pair of shoes for under $40 plus a $5 off coupon for being a member. The store was well stocked and offer a lot of shoes and goods. The hospitality was very good at the register, too. There's plenty of parking at this location.
