After contacting Elmer's Aquarium, in Monroeville, PA, to inquire on recommendations for in-home aquarium service, I was directed to JohnR, owner of Aquarist Company. Meeting John was truly my good fortune. John is so knowledgeable in aquarium operation. He immediately assured me that I had, indeed, been given all the correct components to begin using the (foreign to me!) sump pump filtration system with my aquarium. As he worked on my installation & tank set up, John kindly, very respectively, patiently & certainly, most professionally, explained his installation process, as well as the function of the filter, to me. I desperately searched yahoo for an aquarium service provider to perform an emergency fix (many reputable aquarium service providers actually do emergency calls) on my tank to protect my investment. This clown popped up on yahoo so I gave him a call. He answered the phone and I said, "Is the Captain Al's Aquarium Service?" he responded, " Yes." in which I replied "I am having an...." and before I could even finish explaining the problem to him, he snidely told me it was 6am and hung up the phone on me. If you are running a business and don't want people to call you on certain hours, don't answer your phone or simply state you are only open during such and such hours. Being rude to a potential customer willing to pay big money for your services is an excellent way to go out of business. Do not call this jerk.
