The therapist I had were all amazing and the progress I made is because of the great care I received; they were all very knowledgeable, professional and caring. The emergency room, The emergency room tends to have a pretty long wait anywhere from 5 PM until about 5 AM. The nurses seem aggravated and try their best to be friendly, but with such a crowded emergency room back area I kind of understand their frustration. The best time to have an emergency at during the day when people are at work LOL unfortunately it is frustrating when I go in with severe ulcerative colitis symptoms and have to wait for a five-year-old to get his cough checked out when they could just go to a Redi clinic. That being said I also have a heart condition, so typically when I go in there my heart is out-of-control meaning I don't have to wait. Keep in mind though that some people's emergencies are invisible illnesses. So you get admitted, that sucks but it's all good!! The nurses here can be a hit or miss, but out of 2 admissions, I only have had a few nurses I wasn't fond of. Also, pretty decent food here but you can't order whenever you'd like, they bring it to you. So you get discharged and have to come back for some mris, CT scans, etc. These people rock. Always on time and never more then a ten minute wait.

In hindsight, we do not feel she was properly stabilized or thoroughly evaluated before being discharged. The transfer did not feel safe or carefully coordinated, and we were not given the level of communication or reassurance we would have expected for someone in her condition. Within hours of being transferred out, she experienced a medical emergency and had to be rushed by ambulance to Memorial Hermann Southeast, where she was immediately placed on life support. She remained hospitalized for a month and a half. While we are grateful she is now recovering, the entire experience was traumatic for our family. We strongly encourage families to ask detailed questions, advocate firmly for their loved ones, and ensure that a patient is truly stable before agreeing to discharge or transfer.

I…read morehave had 4 surgeries (1 ACL, 1 clean up of the knee, 1 shoulder bone spurs and 1 knee replacement) preformed by Dr. Burke and my husband has had one which was a shoulder. But let me tell you if you need paper work to be filled out in order to go back to work after surgery get it to the office personnel ASAP because they don't get in any hurry. I was told they have 7 days to fill it out and to get it turned in. Not sure why it should take so long so for that process I give 0 stars. I had my staples taken out today by one of his PA's and she tried to keep my mind off of it by talking to me which help so I give her 5 stars. They all have great bed side manners. I don't understand why it takes so long to check out that part I give 1 star sometimes it takes longer to check out then it does to see the doctor but I like Dr Burke so I guess it is worth putting up with all of the shenanigans. I trust Dr. Burke and his medical staff and I have the up most respect for them and would highly recommend him for your Orthopedic surgery.

That being said, this location takes my insurance, has onsite x-rays, a PT/rehab center, and multiple chiros to choose from. Neck pain, back pain, sciatica, herniated discs, post-surgery pain and PT, cupping... I've seen them for everything. I was first a patient of Dr. Scott Neuburger, but now my new schedule has be seeing Dr. Andrea Bonilla (she's great!). They have onsite parking, a fairly open schedule, they send you text reminders (and phone calls). I'm a fan and referred both my mom and a few friends over to them - and they have multiple locations all across Houston.
