The reason for this review is the studio had a special right before Christmas that if you upgrade your membership to 8 classes per month at 189. Ok I decided to do it. No where in the email (see photo) does it say after two months it will go up to $229 a month. After receiving the charge I called the studio spoke with someone told her my concerns and asked for Love (manager) to call me back. First call was on Tuesday April 14 with no call back second call was on Wednesday April 15 still no call back. I called Love on your personal number and told her my concerns about how I was never told that if I upgrade to 8 classes per month at $189 that after two months it would go up to $229 never in the email did it say it was a special only running for two months (I feel as though this studio uses the bait and switch trick to get more members and money too). So during this call not once did Love try to offer me anything all she kept saying was ( I would be happy to downgrade you for a price that you're more comfortable with paying). I don't/didn't have a problem with paying my membership it's just the principle, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I was really excited about this studio in our community and I had one friend join because of my review and I saw the bad reviews that are on here and that maybe they weren't giving it a chance because any new business has growing pains but after they way I was talked to by the manager and the text she sent after I hung up trying to make me believe she was trying to offer me something when she wasn't and didn't I will be taking my business elsewhere. I don't even feel comfortable going to this studio after the bait and switch tactics they are using to get business. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS AND GET IT IN WRITING BEFORE SIGNING UP OR UPGRADING *******UPDATE******** I received a callback from Love regarding the miss communication in the email and with our phone conversation. I have tried on more than one occasion to book one of their introductory sessions. I have tried to bring a friend with me, to increase their clientele, as I knew we would both sign up. Classes are always booked, you can never get in to try the class, and then when Brooklyn text you ( she reached out to me I didn't reach out to her) and tells you there is space, and you say yes you'll take it, lo and behold, that disappears too. Can't tell you anything about the facilities or how great the workout is, because I haven't gotten to try it. But what I will say is I will stick with Culver City. Much better customer service much better organization. I know these may be new opening Growing Pains, but you really need to get it together. There's been 10 different things in your location. Keep treating customers like this, you too will be replaced!

I was also a mat Pilates instructor a gang of years ago! This studio has the best choreographers. They incorporate beautiful dynamic movements that stretch, burn, and build your muscles. The instructors are also very kind and engaging and support proper posture and form while performing the movements. There are a lot of great studios in L.A. but Studio Elevate is in my top 3.

Megan did a great job offering corrections during yoga sculpt without being invasive or aggressive. For my disabled friends, the women's bathroom has an accessible shower with a built-in seat and railing. I imagine the men's bathroom has one too.

The problem in LA when you're looking for a gym is: 1. The gyms in your vicinity are corporate owned and the clients range from disrespectful to arrogant, or all of the above. 2. The gyms have quality control issues, unhygienic, and unmaintained equipment and/or facilities 3. Charge exorbitant rates for basic elements every gym should have (high price = absolute bellend customers who wish they could be at the Bezos wedding). This gym takes care of all three of those and then some. Having met and chatted with Dakota, Eric, Grace, and Brett (some of the gym's amazing staff), if the facilities don't convince you this is the most well balanced, INDEPENDENTLY OWNED gym in LA, these guys certainly will. Also to mention is the membership fee being much cheaper than most big name gyms on the west side. I have been going here for almost a year now and even though I tried other studios near me and even…read morethough I still get offers from those places for packages that cost less for more classes, I have stayed with CP. One of the major reasons is that the instructors are professional, they always ask before class for any injuries or if anyone has anything going on and will instruct individually during exercises for those needing modifications. They are clear when instructing in class and attentive when you maybe weren't listening ( guilty!). I am much stronger and more flexible than I was when I started and I have felt safe getting there. There is zero attitude here from employees or the club members. The management is very responsive and accommodating. The place is clean, instructors are knowledgeable and effective.
