Absolutely beautiful store. This is of all the fish stores I've been too in Minnesota, this is my…read morefavorite. Not only is this store located in a very pretty and interesting building, it was very bright, open and full of fully landscaped aquariums with plants & fish everywhere. As soon as me and my friends walked in we were approached by an employee immediately. My friends went to look around and I asked a few questions. The employee gave me a lot of good answers as well as recommendations and items that might interest me in the store. The store is extremely well stocked, with items I've only been able to find online before. Me and my friends had a ton of fun looking at the tanks around the store and I good some great inspiration looking around. I got a few items including a snail trap (another item I've only seen online!) and the cashier was super friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the shop. The store below even had an enormous reef tank installed and maintained by the store employees. It is always a wonderful experience coming to a store where everyone is so passionate about their craft, and I can't wait to come back

I love this place!…read more You know how your kid bugs you for a fish tank and promises to take care of it only to lose interest as soon as the first pair of guppies dies? Well, that was me over 50 years ago except I never lost interest. I've been keeping fish and visiting fish stores around the country for my entire life. The people from World Of Fish who started RiverShore Aquariums have done a great job. Located not far from the original World of Fish, RiverShore has clean tanks, friendly and knowledgeable staff and they are super keyed in on planted tank setups. These days my tanks are relatively simple just to keep things easy, rocks and driftwood mostly, but I've been wanting to do a planted tank for a while. I know the basics but had some questions on substrate, plant selection and lighting for what is basically going to be a freshwater nanotank. The staff person who helped me was super knowledgeable, answered my questions and gave me some good advice for getting started. They had a good selection of different kinds of gravel as well as an assortment of driftwood and rocks. I liked that they have a table where you can do a little aquascaping trial and error before you make a final selection. The fish were high quality and appeared healthy. Most were smaller species suitable for planted tanks. I even discovered a new species that I had never heard of - anchor catfish. Super cool and perfect for my little nanotank. I know enough about fish and have been to enough fish stores to know which ones are really good. Rivershore is at the top of the list if you live in the Twin Cities, and especially if you're interested in giving planted tanks a try. Even if its plants aren't your thing or you are new to the hobby, I'd checkout Rivershore for your first aquarium.

She said her daughter (age 16) "accidentally" switched the baby for a mom hedgehog. After calling the breeder in a panic after finding babies, she took hours to respond then came to my home to help. She took all 8 babies away from mom saying it was best and that mom would kill them if they stayed with her even though the mom was nursing all 8 babies. Do NOT adopt from Otsego Hedeghogs.

I contemplated posting this review, but after seeing so many others with the same complaints, I feel I have to. We brought our sweet little guy home and immediately we noticed his gait was off, as if he was dragging his legs behind him and he fell over all the time. We thought it was because he was a baby at 7 weeks old and surely the breeder would've known something was wrong and wouldn't have sold us a sick hedgehog. We had him for 2 weeks. Long enough to completely adore his sweet little personality and that he loved to lay in our warm hands. I knew something was wrong when I found him laying in his water dish. I warmed him up, got him dry, but he just continued to worsen. I messaged the breeder for advice and was told he was too cold. We moved him, but this made no difference. Through the night he kept worsening so we got him in emergently at the vet, where he died very shortly after. Blaming myself, I requested a necropsy and informed the breeder, who was quite rude and said I don't understand how a hedgehog died at 9 weeks old. We finally got the necropsy back, and my vet said, his death was NOT our fault. He was clearly a very ill hedgehog who had herpes lesions in his mouth and lesions in his stomach, on his liver, and brain, had stomatitis, and died of respiratory failure from bordatella pneumonia, which is kennel cough in dogs. I informed the breeder at the vets request so that she knew it's possible her other hedgehogs were also infected since herpes and bordatella are contagious. I received a response from her that she does not sell sick hedgehogs and that his death was our fault. I was not asking for a refund or another hedgehog, I was simply informing her and this was my response. She told me she would have her daughter who is a vet tech in another state, and also breeds hedgehogs would call me to discuss the necrospy. I emailed her the necropsy report, she called me once which I missed the call, I tried calling her back, she didn't answer. I left a message and I never heard from either of them again. Beware, do not buy a hedgehog from this women. They are sick, as so many others have said, and she should not be allowed to sell them. I still have the necropsy report as well, to prove this breeder is negligent.
