It was definitely a fantastic experience. I found some swimsuits that I really liked but the store was closing so I had to cut my appointment short. I will definitely be back to pick up a swimsuit. The prices for swimwear range between $150-$400 for a one piece and $80 for a bikini bottom and maybe between $120-$200 for a bikini top. If you want to be pampered and really discover what looks good on you, this is the place to come! It is ideal for you to book an appointment as the product is not available for you to browse through. I googled 'prescription goggles' and found a RFD forum post mentioning they're available off-the-rack at the Swim & Sports store in Mississauga. I received quick responses by email from Kerrie (I expect she's the owner) on Tuesday. I went to the store the same day and met her there - she was very friendly and knowledgeable of the products. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have THREE types of goggles at my prescription level. 2 different styles, + 1 with tint. Kerrie opened up the packaging of the 2 styles of goggles so I could try them out, and explained the differences between them. The price for the goggles are $25-32, much less than I expected. I also asked for a nose clip - they had like 6 different types ($5-7 mostly). Kerrie shared which was most popular and why. Overall, exceptional service and very useful store for anyone looking for swimming supplies. NOTE: the goggles come in increments of .5 and both left/right are the same level - e.g. -1.00, -1.50, -2.0, etc.

I recently went into the Toronto store as my down jacket had a tear in the zipper. The team at the reception desk immediately went into problem solve mode and offered a solution. They shipped the jacket off to their warehouse and I asked them to ship it to me when fixed. A few weeks after this happened I received a call from Julie at the store who confirmed the coat was fixed and she offered to drop it off at my home (instead of mailing which would take longer). I walked into the store, it was spotless, smelling like professionalism to the last detail. I was not approached with disrespect but asked how I was doing today. No one hassled me until I asked for help. I was very fortunate to meet Gary Stephenson. He shook my hand and asked me what he could help me with? I told him I was getting married in September and needed a suit. He had a smile on his face and said you came to the right place. He sat me down at the back in a very comfortable chair with water and pulled out material books and we started the process. I was at the store for 2 1/2 hrs looking at cuts of fabric and brands of suits until we found what I was looking for. Gary did not stop finding what I needed and pulled out all the stops. Gary made some special arrangements for my suit and I couldn't be more happy with the how everything turned out. My suit is amazing and worth every penny. But the woman at the cash was meh. It was a big issue for my chip card to be swiped because of their new system. Every other place I've been to has been able to swipe it and they were adamant not to really try it. Thankfully, I have two credit cards (kids, always have one VISA and one Mastercard in case of an emergency). Kayla was great in the fitting room; helpful but not obtrusive and gave me her honest opinion. THE GOODS It's basically a yoga class to try ON yoga clothes. So in I went ready to practice my breathing exercises looking for the perfect pair of workout pants (specifically for spin class). The selection is good but it's not what it used to be. Maybe I don't like change? I don't know. A lot of the pants are really bunchy at the bottom and ALL of them are tight. That said, baby got BACK. And nothing sparks up your insecurity than a 360 degree mirror shining a light on your cellulite. It sucks. Back to the pants. I ended up going with the Groove Crop. They're cropped (duh) as to not bunch up but have a little bit of a flare that let my leg breathe. I may need to roll them up during spin but I can also wear them after class, so I'm cool with that. Plus it has a little top pocket where I can stash my keys or cards (but why would I in the top of my pants?!). I miss the Whisper tank. I wish they brought it back. Or at least brought back tanks that you can wear a normal bra with. They all have some funky cut out in the back but I do love that they are long and fashionable. Their shorts look great too but I was spent after trying on so many pairs of pants. And no, they ain't cheap but they last. OBLIGATORY CATCHY REMARK Lu Lu-sing my mind over this location. Sadly, they did not have my size BUT the sales associate went out of his way to check if they had the sizes at other Running Room stores in the area. He found out that the Square One store had my size and put the shoes on hold for me. The hold was for 3 days which gave me ample time to head down to the store on my own schedule. I was impressed by the level of service from each Running Room store I visit - it makes such a wonderful shopping experience. Check out your closest Running Room store for your running needs!

This store is right in front of the busy Future shop at the Winston Churchill location. It's a smaller store but it's rammed pack with everything you could ever want about running gear. Along the back wall, they have running shoes for women, men, and kids. I would have thought Running Room would be pricey because it only specializes in running gear but their sales prices seriously makes them the best priced offering. The associate double checked what would be best for me by asking me to walk in socks along the store walk area so she can see my gait and how my foot lands on the floor. Turns out my thought of having better support was totally wrong for my feet. She brought out her first recommendation within my budget and it was like putting on a slipper. I am a believer of the Running Room expertise and service. It was excellent, knowledgeable, and very insightful. Best thing... it was actually more affordable than any regular sport store! If I ever need another running shoe, there's only one store I am returning to!
