I then saw electrolyte tablets and waffles. If you are looking for a water bottle, there are lots to choose from. From Hydro Flask, to MEC's own line, you can find something that will suit your hydration needs. I saw lots of camping items. Tents. Cookware. LED lanterns. This store has everything imaginable. The downside is that I didn't see any sales items. I find it expensive to shop here, especially post-co-op memberships. There are two floors to this store. All very friendly and helpful. They can apply the waterproofing wax on your purchase if you buy something that is made with the G-1000 water resistant material. The wax creates a barrier making your item waterproof. The water literally rolls off! Lifetime warranty. Things here are not cheap, but you're certainly paying for quality and longevity. The staff were very helpful, gave good advice and recommendations. They have a good amount of choice and gear. I'd say if you didn't know exactly what you wanted while you may not be lost, its not easy peasy. Their prices are competitive with other places and even the large box stores. The one thing I find could use a bit of improvement was ability to get help. They seemed busy that it's tough getting help. They should notice the lost customers immediately. But when you do get help, they devote their attention to you and don't get distracted easily.
