Richard and Greg from The Drinking Water Los Angeles are absolute lifesavers! We recently bought a…read morehouse that came with an ancient, neglected GE reverse osmosis system. The filters hadn't been changed since 2021, and the tank had completely lost pressure. I immediately changed the old filter, but the system was still not working well and the whole setup was just on its last legs. Richard and Greg came out and immediately offered to swap the tank just to see if it would salvage the old unit. When we realized the GE system wasn't worth sinking money into, we decided to upgrade and had Richard install one of his own systems. The installation was unbelievably fast, clean, and seamless. Beyond the quick service, not only are Richard and Greg incredibly knowledgeable, but they are also super nice and funny. We had a lot of laughs while learning more about drinking water and getting thoroughly educated on the new unit. We even opted to add an alkaline filter, and the difference is night and day. Now we have incredible, crisp-tasting water running straight to both our sink and our fridge, and we love it. Their pricing was exceptionally fair. I honestly expected the whole ordeal to cost a fortune, but it was completely reasonable. We couldn't be happier with the results, and we will definitely have them come back out for all of our future reverse osmosis needs. Highly, highly recommend!

He did all of that for his low price service fee. That just doesn't happen most of the time. It's great to have someone you can call and not have to worry about being over charged.

Martin, our installer, arrived on time and did a wonderful job with the installation. I appreciated how he coordinated water shutoff and testing easily with us and was quick and efficient with his installation. All the plumbing was done cleanly and professionally and he took the time to explain maintenance and operating information for the softener system. Water quality is noticeably improved and we are very happy with the result!

He personally visited my home before the installation to test the water quality and review the plumbing layout with me to make sure everything would be installed the way I wanted. Martin G and Robert did an excellent job with the installation. They installed the water softener neatly in my garage, and I especially appreciated that they took the time to install a separate unfiltered water line to my backyard exactly as I requested. The workmanship was clean, professional, and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend West Coast Water Filtration to anyone looking for a reliable and professional water softener installation.

We also got the reverse osmoses system under the kitchen sink to further clean the water. This was such an easy and smooth process. We put in the order with Brad, scheduled an appointment for installation and our installer was Maurice. These guys know what they are doing and they made it very easy for us. The set the expectations and we didn't have to do anything. It took us about a couple hours where we couldn't use the water but then all we had to do is flush out the air from the new system. It's the third day now and everything is working great. WHY WE CHANGED: Just got tired of increasing monthly rates and having to open the garage for the techs to switch out the tanks. Also the Pro Water system does filter out more than the water softener we had.

Very friendly and explained everything he was doing. Love the system and everyone we have interacted with from the company has been great! I should add that when the system was originally installed Brad and I had a discussion about my vegetable garden and what would be the best solution so as not to get too much salt into that water as it would affect and potentially burn them. The installer was able to route our hose line so that it would continue to use unsoftened water and not affect my veggie garden. We are SO appreciative of this as we love eating our home grown tomatoes!!!

I also had to take apart the faucets and get the gunk off the screens. I would say I had to do every couple of months now after years of Lifesource once a year and it's not nearly as bad as it ever was before. Service calls are wonderful people show up on time know what they're doing fix what they're there to fix and are incredibly friendly. The infrequent need to change the canisters is a real plus. While, you do have to plan for those expenses, they are long lasting. over time it was less that our collective monthly expenses, especially if the maintenance by hand that was required was considered. When we were evaluating the system. It sounded expensive until I did the math on what we were paying for soft water which my husband dislikes the feel of. The difference is immediately recognizable in showers for hair and skin is something far better than I was .expecting. The water coming out of the tap is great! We do have a reverse osmosis for ice. The grey water every two weeks is used for the lawn and outside plants, so no waste and no big delivery trucks on the street on a regular basis. I'm very disappointed with my experience with **LifeSource Water**…read more Yesterday, I spoke with one of their customer service representatives regarding a water test I had done. **My drinking water was tested specifically for magnesium, and the test result was 450 mg/L (milligrams per liter).** This raised concerns for me about the quality of my water and whether my LifeSource system was addressing the issue. During our conversation, I was told that the LifeSource system does not remove minerals such as magnesium and that I would need a reverse osmosis system with a carbon filter to address the issue. He also mentioned that my refrigerator filter might possibly help. I was also told that the LifeSource system primarily removes chemicals. This information was never clearly explained to me before I made such a significant investment. I was not given a water test before purchasing the system, and I now feel that I did not have all the information I needed to make an informed decision. As a result, I'm back to purchasing bottled water from the store. I recognize that I share some responsibility for not researching the purchase more thoroughly. However, I believe customers should be given a clear explanation of exactly what a water filtration system does and does not remove, especially before making such a large investment. I'm sharing my experience in the hope that it helps others ask the right questions and have their water tested **before** purchasing a LifeSource system. **Make sure you understand exactly what the system is designed to remove and whether it addresses the specific issues in your water.** I wish I had known this before making my purchase.

They recently helped me take my reverse osmosis system with me from my old house to my new one when I moved. My new old house (built in 1958) needed two systems instead of one, which would have been out of my price range. But they worked with me to finally make it happen.
