I was referred to Dave and his team by another company, and I am so grateful. From the start of the process, they were unerringly professional, friendly, and great to work with. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with AquaLife Ponds. Everyone was great. The owner (Dave), Rachel in the office, and the crew that came to my house were all nice, responsive, and knowledgeable. The pond I inherited from the previous owners of my house was causing me a lot of grief and I wanted it fixed so I could enjoy it without so much work. We decided on a total rebuild and I am so glad that I did. The rebuild exceeded my expectations. I enjoy the space and my koi much more than I did before. They took care of everything from design to taking great care of my koi babies during the build. We kept up with the utter incompetence and lies from Rachel and excuses from the team for a while and finally cancelled our service. Here were are grievances: The company did not maintain a decent schedule for pond cleaning and scheduled pond maintenance either after 40+ days or within 16-20 days. They are always upselling! Usually they'll tell us that one or the other thing will need to be replaced (quoting us hundreds of dollars) and NO it DID NOT need to be replaced. They sent emails with incorrect information a few different times which was a massive waste of time and generally very annoying having to follow up and close the loop. The pond was drained into the pathway making the pathway hazardous to walk on, area left in a terrible state. Rachel has been so rude, I have no words, she is also incorrect most of the times and doesn't know the facts. She called us especially to tell us that our pump WILL NOT work even thought she had no idea what was going on and the pump came back on with a simple tweak from another pond maintains guy. The price difference between Aqua like quote and the maintenance guy was $400!!! The list goes on! Will not recommend the headache to anyone!! read more

Usually Rachel would interrupt in the middle of a sentence to say there's nothing they can do to help. We called this company to clean up a small 3x20 waterfall, they charged us a hefty amount of $350 for this and they didn't completely clean out the secondary tank which remained full of sludge. 6 days later the water fall is the same condition as it was before they came out. They will not take responsibility for this, I spoke with the technician and addressed the issue and he stated he did not completely clean out the second compartment. They basically drained the water, no clean up and filled it up leaving all the sludge. I have called them 5 or 6 times to come back out and fix the issue, they promise to call back which they never do and keep passing the buck. On top of the insult to injury they keep pushing their monthly service program. They can't do the correct job to begin with why would any one hire them or even need a maintenance program for a small waterfall?! Overpriced service and under quality work.
