TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE !!! PLEASE BEWARE !!! The appointment was scheduled for 3 pm on a Saturday. Then at 2:30pm representative by the name Tonya called ahead of the scheduled appointment to ask if I had Yelp account, instead of telling me that the technician won't be able to make it on or anywhere near scheduled time ! To add insult to the injury, at 3:30!!! their technician Yura called to tell me he wouldn't make it by 3:00pm !!! but would love to stop by 2 Hours later !!! I told him I was waiting for him for too long already and would rather spend the rest of my Saturday outside in fresh air with my daughter and wife !!! The worst service ever !!! read more

AquaLife - an overcharge and incompetent technicians, refused to correct a problem created by Aqualife's technician during the installation. In the course of installing water filtration system, Aqualife's technician damaged my cold water pipe. The problem was discovered after technician left. Upon my report of the problem to Aqualife headquarters I was told to resolve a problem myself, even after making repeated calls to the company. The receptionist refused to connect me to qualified technical people. I had to pay a licensed plumber to come and fix the problem. The plumber confirmed that the problem was caused by the incorrect placement of Aqualife's pipe connection that caused a blockage of the cold water supply to the faucet and was only able to make a temporary fix. Aqualife charged me $1100 for the installation of my water filtration system where new components (a container, membrane and four filters) cost less than $100. Another $1000 was charged for a labor by a low skilled technician, not a licensed plumber. Do yourself a favor - buy a water filtration system from Home Depot or Lowe's for about 10% of what Aqualife charges and have a licensed plumber install the system for about $200. Then spend $10-20 to replace filters yourself or pay $80 to a plumber to do it for you instead of paying over $200 to Aqualife to replace filters and to cause damages. Easy to make service appointment, very friendly technician and high quality service!

Guy shows up at my new home before I've moved my things in and promises a $25 Home Depot Card just for sitting through their presentation. The rep shows up gives his presentation and when I didn't make a purchase on the spot, leaves without giving me the GC. I call and the same rep promises that it will be mailed to me. This company should not be in business. Giving them one star is much more then they deserve If you have an issue, they don't understand meaning of customer service. Every time you have a problem they send a technician who has no clue about water filters all he is trained to convince you to buy a new system. Yet they charge you $150, If you have a problem they will blame everyone: your pipes, water pressure in your house, NYC everyone are at fault but not them. They are using extremely cheap products, which cause leaks. I feel that most their positive reviews are fake.There are companies that provide much better system and wont charge you arm and a leg and most importantly will be responsible for their equipment. read more

Very poor customer service. It's such a struggle to talk to someone who knows English. They did a lot of talking when they tested our water but didn't deliver proper services. It's been 6 months and we've already had to repair our system and change our filter. They told us one thing in person and then wrote something else in the contract and will yell at you over the phone till no end. Definitely wouldn't recommend. I wouldn't even give them one star, but it wasn't an option. They are scamming people out of thousands of dollars. The systems they install are a few hundred dollars at most. My mother had a working system for some years, i asked her to stop letting these people in to change filters. Well they came to change filters on a working system and told her that the system is old and needs to be replaced. The new one they installed came out to be $400+ up front and $45/mo for 5 years. That would bring the total cost for the system to over $3000. That is absurd, i have purchased a whole house filtration system for a 2 kitchen/3 bathroom house for under a $1000. It's a SCAM people. Stay away from these charlatans. Go to Apec water filters and pick a system. I will call Consumer Affairs tomorrow to make a complaint and will call 311. Unprofessional with zero customer service, I am shocked that they are still in business. When trying to reach them to discuss anything, the people are rude and arrogant. There mission is not to satisfy the customer but to take their money without providing anything in return. I have been using Aqualife for about 6 years now. First 5 years i only had a under the sink system and last year now since we moved we also added their whole house system in Longt Island. We drink the water all the time, use it for cooking and now clean water comes in the shower as well. Its a must have. The aqualife support is very good, their guys who come to install are very knowledgeable and very nice/courteous. They always cover their shoes with special surgical covers not to make your floor dirty. We have been very happy with them and recommended them to everybody. read more

Do not let this company fool you!!!!! Once again this company is a scam , they deceive you by showing you some experiments and all the other B.S..... I now have been customer for about 5 years and everytime the managment comes to install new filters they claim something else is broken while everything was working. And I myself experienced some very bad damage into my house and my neighbors. The problem was in the pump and it was brand new , and the pump broke and my apartment was filled with water and flooded everywhere and i had to pay from my own pocket to fix my crib and my neighbors... BTW once they got you by the hook they start to treat you like a dog. You know if you ever worked with russians , sadly all they want is money not a customer satisfaction. We bought a system from them for 3500 dollars in January, which stop working recently When I called them and request a technician to check, I had been told, that 35 dollars I have to pay for appointment and than for replacing filters, because we already used 3000 gallons for a year. It's just two of us and we are working, not even home whole day long. Don't trust them, nobody tells you the truths and all of them lairs just care to make money. I am the Aqualife of USA customer for 9 years and this time I have to put hold on the future payments for the yearly maintenance. It took me two weeks to solve the problem. I had to called them up every single day. I spoke to a representative Tonya every time I called with no success. I spoke to the accountant Elena with the same result and she said that she was not able to solve the problem by herself. I asked her to transfer me to a manager who was not available (in the afternoon). I got never returned my phone call. Finally when I riched out the accontant Elena she told me that everything's ok and on my question why nobody called me and let me know what is the outcome for my request, she replied to me that she guessed that I supposed to know that everything's ok (like I am a mind reader). Avoid them at all cost. They're expensive, sell cheap products, and got a poor customer service. The representatives don't know english and start by speaking in some foreign language. Been with them for five years now and every time we need a filter replacement it becomes a hassle. Their filters need replacement every two weeks because they're of cheap quality. Now they've increased the monthly bill plus they want to charge for each tech visit which is unaffordable. They're rip off! Better try other water filteration systems. read more

I became aware of these guys through their "free drinking water analysis" test kits at home depot. After sending in the test sample, I got a call from them which essentially said my water was fine(NYC has some of the best tap water in the country), but they convinced me to have one of their guys come over to my apt for an more in-depth analysis. The guy they sent over was pretty much a sales man to get me to sign up for their home water filter contract. This isn't so bad except the fact that their contract is the worst deal possible immaginable. The sales guy spent 2 hours at my apt trying to convince me to have their water filter installed for "a 1 dollar a day" with a 10 year contract. They're hoping that I can't do math and realize that 1 dollar a day over 10 years is over 3650 dollars for a water filtration system that you can buy online or at Home Depot for less than 300 dollars. I live in a house with well water. Needless to say the water quality was of great concern to us. I had a Kinetico K5 system installed by Aqualife last year. I specifically wanted to test the system out before commenting on my experience. So far everything was nothing short of great. An entire experience, from installation to servicing, to system performance has exceeded my expectations. Our water is crystal clear and company keeps delivering everything that was promised during our purchase. Highly recommend! read more

Aqua Life is way too expensive company. They claim they have US made products, no it's not true. Also they say they make systems in Florida/California, not true! I know the technician he worked for them, and he said all product made in China/Taiwan, and they just remove the label and attached their "made in USA" label!! Also you can get RO system cheap online just need to maintain it! Or get some at Home Depot just make sure not Aqualife (kinetico) will service you! JUST BE AWARE OF another scam company SUCH as ez water pure. Their manager is dishonest, don't use this company, they are selling toxic products. Slavik is a manager and owner of ez water pure company. I don't recommend to anyone to deal with this company. It's A SCAM. Their products are cheap Chinese toxic products. We have a new system for less than a year. It already broke twice. The old system that we had needed repairs once or twice a year. The customer service is terrible. We had to wait a week for the technician to show up. We tried to explain to them that they cannot leave us witha broken system for a week. There is always the same response: " we undestand ". A week later no one came at scheduled time. After we called them twice a technician finally showed up 3 hour late. The customer service does not call back, never apologizes for anything and gives you attitude. This company needs to learn to respect and value their customers and stand behind their product. read more
