We had Aqua Systems install a new water softener in 2024, and the soft water has been great. This past weekend, I saw water on the garage floor near the brine tank, and later in the evening, no soft water in the house. I was able to contact Rheese, their service technician who is an awesome and intelligent young man. He came out to our home in the early afternoon, and we were up and working again in 30 minutes. Fortunately for us, Rheese detected one issue quickly, but decided to run the system and realized there was an additional issue caused by ants in a fill line. Our water softener died a few weeks ago. We decided to get a replacement softener and add a reverse osmosis system to our home. The service we received was amazing. Staff were fully invested to make sure that our system was up and running properly. We had some minor issues but everyone was committed to helping, where some others would probably have abandoned us. Our well water is high in iron which resulted in badly discolored clothes and smelly (sulfur) water. I saw their ad for their SmartChoice Gen II Eradicator and called for more information. They came to our house, promised it would do the job and we had it installed. It's now 3 months later and we are amazed at how well it works! The smelly water is gone and the whites come out of the laundry still white! Very pleased with the installation and the simple operation. read more

I thought I posted a review but it didn't show up. this is important to warn people not to use them. This is the worst place to deal with. this is probably why they are not even on BBB.they charged me well over 10k for a 3 tank system to treat my water ( later telling me that the 3 tank system doesn't work and I should replace it w a single unit) this was after a few years of paying them to replace the media in the units and servicing them, another 5-8k, as best I recall. After having rotten egg water after a year of complaints they did some more "testing" and determined that their whole house filtration system was worthless, I had to pay them to remove it, and I needed a new, single tank and a new softener. I asked why a new softener and they said the unit the sold me only had probably another 4 years left. How does a softner wear out?, they had no answer. anyhow they took out their old units, then told me they needed more money to make it work then didn't even hook up the softner, only running a single 1/8 in line to it w no return or drain!! Had an appointment with Aqua Systems of South Bend to install a Reverse Osmosis System. When I called as to the status of the install person (who was 10 minutes late in a 2-hour window), I was treated extremely rude by N******, the customer service rep, and he talked very condescending to me. After a frustrating conversation I just canceled my order and that is when customer service rep started yelling at me. I hung up and then a female (who said she was the owner) called me back and started yelling at me also. I have never been treated so rudely in all my years. I am grateful I did not spend a penny on this company. There are plenty of other companies for this kind of service in this area, I suggest using one of them. BTW, The initial sales person that came out to my house was very nice and very respectful. The actions of extremely rude customer service completely turned me off. If this is the way they treated me before the install, imagine what would of happened after I paid them. I would really suggest steering clear of this company. read more

We bought an iron remover - I think it's called an eradicator. It only worked for a year removing the iron from the water. We knew there was a problem when black water came from our hot and cold faucets. They replaced the brine once but that only fixed problem for a month. They reprogrammed the electronic programming but they could not fix it. Now it's set to bypass and is unplugged. Got ours for $1799 now I see they are $1999. Don't waste your money in our opinion!! read more

I stopped in to schedule an appointment to have my water softener worked. on September 5th they didn't show in the time frame. So I called. This was an hour after the time frame and after calling again. I Was told one thing and when the tech showed up told a differant story. Had to order parts and would be back on the 13th at set time. Again no show. So I called again and got two differant story's again. Now it's December 13 and have the same problem. Set time and again no show. Called and got the same old story as the last two times so I decided to find a company that keeps their word.!!! read more

This company was recommended to us by my Mother. despite issues she had with service, we called for an estimate for a whole house water filter. The Sales person was late to the appointment, but friendly. Told us someone would call to schedule to install it. No one called. I had to call to get an appointment and then was advised they didn't know what happened. Appointment was scheduled and we were called at 9:00 a.m. and told that the technician would be late because they had a flat tire, and would be here 2 hours later. Then we received another call, 2 hours later and were advised that he would not be here at all and not until Monday, because they had to order tires for their truck! Which is absolutely ridiculous. I asked for them to send someone before the end of the day as appliances had been disconnected and moved, water shut off and I was again told that would not happen. I cancelled our order and advised them I would find another service provider and would never recommend them to anyone - stay clear of this hot mess! read more

Unreliable! Scheduled a Monday delivery the Thursday before. Monday we waited until 4:00PM for delivery then called. We were told someone had called in sick and they would not be able to deliver that day. We wondered out loud why we had not received a phone call informing us so we didn't have to wait all day. This didn't phase them. We rescheduled for Thursday so they could get caught up. Thursday again waited till 4:00 no delivery no call. We called got the someone called in sick excuse. We were promised a call before 6:00PM to let us know when they would be able to deliver. At 5:50 we called again to find out what was going on, the person who answered said she was waiting for a manager to get back to tell her when a delivery could be made. We told them we would find a more reliable company. read more
