Spicy Poke lunch special!
Susan H.

I tried this place a good 10 years ago - maybe when they'd just opened? Wasn't impressed - way too pretentious and unimpressive sushi. Never came back. My how times have changed. Had lunch with my son today and he wanted Sushi. This was the only place open mid afternoon in the Hamburg area, so we gave it a try. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere relaxed and casual. Our drinks were constantly filled and dishes arrived timely. We ordered two Boston Rolls, salmon sashimi, two lunch specials of Spicy Poke, and a seaweed salad. Everything was so delicious and the cuts of salmon (even on the rolls) were ample portions. At first glance, the al a carte sushi seemed a bit expensive on the menu, but for the price you get 3 pieces and considering the size, it's on point with all the other sushi places in town. Everything was fresh and the rice delicious! Can't wait to try the dinner scene!

Poke bowl w/ salmon

The Aqua sushi menu can be found inside of Malone's or Drakes! This is perfect for when my boyfriend is wanting steak or burgers and I'm craving sushi! I have tried multiple things from the menu from miso soup & edamame to the crab Rangoon roll, the Philadelphia roll, and the spicy salmon roll, BUT my absolute favorite is the poke bowl with salmon! I got this for the second time last night and it was just as flavorful and fresh as the first time I had it! It is definitely something I look forward to getting. I got it without the jalapeño (just personal preference), but it still has a little kick due to the wasabi mayo, which I loved! It was definitely a change from the traditional rolls and offered a lot more food to fill me up!

I give it a 3 and a half. I hate to rate any of Bluegrass Hospitality Group restaurants anything less than a five, because the group and their concepts are practically genius. The fact that you can dine in Malone's if you're feeling fancy, Harry's if you're feeling more casual and want to watch a game on their many televisions. Aqua Sushi is nestled close to the entrance of Malone's, inside of the indoor portion of Harry's. Aqua Sushi isn't 'a restaurant, it's more a bar area that makes sushi and has it's own menu. But of course you eat in at either Malone's of Harry's. So, it's not a carry out sushi sort of place. I have tried the Crab Ragoon Roll sushi once and it was excellent, it's just not something that I would order or eat an entire roll of. My usual is the California Roll, occasionally it comes out smaller than usual and once, during lunch hours, the rice was a bit warm... as if it was just recently made and hardly cooled. All in all, this location is good and because there's so many additions that you can add, for example, the complimentary bread and the bottomless Lexingtonian salad. Considering those and that the service is ALWAYS on point, I highly recommend it.

Toku Sushi was AMAZING!…read more First off, the food was great and there were so many yummy choices coming around that conveyor belt that I eventually stopped pretending I had self-control. Every time I thought I was done, another plate came by looking good. But what really stood out was the service. Racheal and Yuko were fantastic! They were super friendly, answered all my questions, and somehow were always there exactly when we needed something without constantly hovering around the table. Perfect service. And shout-out to the rest of the staff too -- including the guys quietly working in the shadows, bussing tables and keeping everything moving. I see you guys! The entire staff worked together really well. And then there's the other member of the staff... THE ROBOT CAT. Yes, Toku has a robot cat cruising around the restaurant. Good food, great service, conveyor-belt sushi, a fun Japanese atmosphere, AND a robot cat? Come on. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Rachel & Yuko: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Robot Cat: 11/10 Next time I'm wearing stretchy pants.

I was pleasantly surprised by Toku Revolving Sushi! This was my first visit, and I went solo, so…read morethe whole experience was a little confusing at first. They seated me at a bar-style table for solo diners, gave me a tablet to order from, and had the revolving sushi conveyor right in front of me. A little tip if you've never been: only grab the plate from the little holder on the conveyor -- you don't need to pick up the entire contraption! There's also a sign that identifies what sushi is coming next, which makes it easy to decide what you want to grab. You can also order specialty items from the tablet, and a little robot brings those orders right to you, which is pretty fun. Another thing that confused me at first was the billing. When you order something from the specialty menu, it may show as $0, but once you slide the plate into the slot, it registers it on your bill. Most of the sushi coming around on the conveyor was $3.75 per plate, and generally you get three pieces, which works out to about $1.25 per piece. I also ordered a tuna hand roll, eel hand roll, and crispy rice with tuna. Everything was delicious! The eel was really good, but I probably wouldn't order that one again simply because it was a little messy to eat. The sauce was dripping everywhere! I definitely got a little too excited by all the options and ordered more than I needed for one person. I finished with the mango mochi ice cream, which was delicious. My total was $35, and honestly, I thought that was pretty reasonable considering how much I ordered. Everything you see in my pictures is what I had except for the eel roll. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would absolutely come back. If you've never tried revolving sushi before, just give yourself a minute to figure out the system -- once you do, it's really fun!

Tonight I opted for some seaweed salad, two rolls (Incredible and Dancing Eel), and the Bourbon Tso's Chicken. Last time I didn't like the Curry Udon, so I'm going to give a different Entre a try. The service is friendly and the atmosphere quiet. There are only a couple of other customers here. I normally get sake but it's actually really warm out today, so I'm gonna pass and just go with some water. The seaweed salad came out quickly. It was really cold and crisp, just the way I like it! Yum. My Entre came out before my sushi rolls. Bummer. My mouth is watering in anticipation. I must be hungry. The sushi rolls are large so they will be filling. So far they both are delicious. These were a good choice. I'm not sold on the Bourbon Tso's chicken. It's essentially fried chicken nuggets with a watery glaze sauce on them. I think it would taste better if the sauce was thicker and less tangy. Im not sure what makes it bourbon? I couldn't get any hints of that in the taste. I'm glad I have the sushi to keep going back to, because it is really tasty. I like this place, I will definitely be back, but I think I'll pass on their entree in the future and just stick with the sushi. This is twice now, I've not liked the main dishes. Overall, I think this spot offers a nice dining experience.
