I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently they handled the scheduling process. After reaching out through their website, I had an appointment scheduled in less than 15 minutes! Whether they use AI or simply have a very efficient intake system, the process was seamless and impressive. The following morning, I received a text letting me know the plumber was on his way. Tyler also called ahead to confirm his arrival, and he showed up right on time. Tyler was great to work with. He carefully assessed the problem, clearly explained what needed to be done to fix it, and provided a quote that I felt was reasonable. He completed the job in approximately 90 minutes, and a day later, everything is working as it should, with no signs of leaking. I really appreciated Tyler's professionalism, clear communication, straightforward approach, and his overall positivity. From the initial website inquiry to the completed repair, the entire experience with Lawson Family Plumbing was smooth, timely, and professional. If you need a plumber who responds quickly, shows up when promised, communicates clearly, and gets the job done, I highly recommend Lawson Family Plumbing. They delivered exactly the kind of service you hope for when an unexpected plumbing issue needs to be addressed ASAP!

Donald did a good job at a reasonable price replacing an angle stop valve for the supply line for…read moremy toilet. It was a nightmare situation as a previous contractor broke it and left me abandoned and my main water supply wouldn't turn off so I could literally not sleep for 24 hours as I had to empty a bowl every 30 to 60 minutes (the supply valve is low so it would not accommodate anything larger underneath) or it would flood and ruin the new flooring that was just installed. It did ruin my brand new baseboard that I had just had installed the day before. He kept blaming me saying by turning the giant nut I somehow ruined the pipe which I don't understand but I did everything to try and loosen the bolt under urgent and impossible conditions and stress and I found no special instructions or tool that specified one as a necessity to use on it in all my research or that I had done anything wrong, but it had been there for 30 years and was fused on tight and wouldn't budge even with two vise grips. With the flooding happening I was desperate to get it removed so I thought that his continuous commentary was strange. He also said I had to loosen that nut clockwise as if it were reversely threaded but discovered that was not the case multiple times in my research so again I'm very confused. If something had been critically missed I wish he would've at least told me or made it clear what my alternative was otherwise assigning blame does little good; I am not an experienced plumber. I did not see nor was ever shown how he ultimately removed it so the whole point was moot. He walked off with my channel locks which I informed him of immediately after he left. He said he didn't have it then the next day he said he did but that he couldn't return them until after I left the area for a couple weeks at which point I told him he could drive out to my house. Luckily he changed his mind and returned them that morning as it really isn't my responsibility to retrieve them. I had been thru two days of hell from the previous contractor with 8 hours sleep over three nights. But he did the job and it took him no more than 15 to 20 minutes. There's a really big gash in my wall now where the valve is but I guess he had to do that to cut the pipe. I will have to find a wall cover plate or something to hide it or else patch it up. I then had to call another contractor to check the toilet seating as the flooring installer who left me with the leaking supply valve was supposed to handle it but did not do it right. Ultimately I had to hire three contractors in 36 hours for the same bathroom.

I also want to clarify that Jason, the gentleman that has been out here several times did nothing wrong. When I was upset on the original call that diagnosed the issue, my response was due to the information being conveyed to me, not at Jason. He was only doing his job, and I was being a less than professional customer. He did nothing wrong. When I called back, a month later, I had already resigned myself to spending $1K to get the softener fixed and have the Chlorinator added. I was calling to schedule an appointment. My issue was not Jason, it was my interaction with the GM, who I did not ask to speak to, who blew all of this up with all up with his tactics to upsell and all the information he was giving me. The day I put my review up here and in a few other places Mike called me again. Kinetico did end up fixing the soft water, but on that call he told me that he'd been talking to the company execs for weeks to try to solve what ailed me and everyone agreed to do the right thing (this happened on the day the review posted - about 7 hours after I posted it). I was happy to have everything resolved, but yesterday he called me again to confirm I was happy with the job.. but when I told him I was not upset with Jason (which was conveyed by the person fixing the softner), he said: He was just trying to be the middleman. Again, my issue is not with Jason, it is with Mike and his pushy behaviors and lack of accountability. If they had just scheduled the installation of the Chlorinator when I called in August, we would not be here right now. If he had just apologized for the whole thing and left it at that, I would not be making this kind of an addendum. He was not the middleman, he was the problem to begin with. If you get a Kinetico Soft Water/RO System (which I love) and ever have to deal with Mike, my suggestion is that you go over the contract/sales agreement and have everything on there that you buy and your initials by everything you decline. Make sure they give you the agreement. I can find my original agreement with what I bought, not what I declined, and the receipts for the fix 5 years ago, but not the agreement about what I bought and declined. If your phone has the ability to record, record the conversation and save the audio file. The three stars I have given are the average of 5 for the product itself and 0 for the GM and his approach.

They were able to narrow down our water leak to the main irrigation line and brought out a listening device to try to pinpoint exactly where the leak was located. Unfortunately, they weren't able to find it with the listening equipment. My main concern was that injecting gas into the line to further localize the leak was never presented to us as another option. Instead, the recommendation was to replace the entire mainline, which would have been a fairly substantial project and required cutting through our concrete patio. Given the scope of the proposed work, we decided to get a second opinion before moving forward. The second company injected gas into the irrigation line, rapidly located the leak (thankfully nowhere near the patio), and was able to repair that specific section without any major construction necessary. Overall, Allegiance was very pleasant to work with and I suspect they're quite good for many plumbing and water-related issues. Based on our experience, though, if you have an irrigation leak they can't locate with the listening device and the next recommendation is a complete line replacement, I'd definitely get a second opinion and ask whether gassing the line is an option before committing to a much larger project.
