I walked into the Marathon Nail Spa, and instantly noticed how clean and how new all of the equipment was. I got the best pedicure I have ever gotten and I am extremely picky when it comes to my pedicures! The staff were so friendly, made me feel welcome (highly recommend Calvin, however they all were awesome). 10/10 recommend this nail salon! She personally redid my nails and was extremely careful and attentive. The second experience was much better, and I appreciated how seriously they took the situation and made it right. I'm very particular about nail care, and Bettye consistently exceeds expectations. Bettye is incredibly talented, professional, and detail-oriented. My nails last about a month, never chip, and my pedicures last beautifully too. The quality of her work is exceptional and far exceeds places I've gone in the Keys. The salon is always clean, welcoming, and relaxing. The staff is friendly and attentive, and I always appreciate the little touches like offering drinks and snacks while you're there. It feels less like an appointment and more like visiting people who genuinely care about their clients. One thing I especially appreciate about Bettye is how accommodating she is. She stays booked for a reason, but if an emergency comes up she always tries to fit me in, or connect me with someone she trusts. That says a lot about her professionalism and how much she values her customers. I also appreciate the specials and discounts they offer, which is a nice bonus, but I keep coming back because of the quality, consistency, and service. I trust Bettye completely and will continue going to Dreams and Nails as long as I live in the Keys. The spa may want to reiterate proper spa etiquette. *For those who don't know- treat it like a library not your local NY gossip bar!* All the therapists were very well trained and fantastic personalities. The spa may want to invest in the talk or quiet session signs to communicate with the therapists what type of session the client is looking for (ie/ relaxation or social hour). It was an amazing first impression. We came here for a wedding on Sunday and had an awesome 3 day weekend. The catered meals and drinks were very much enjoyed and great. We peel and eat shrimp from the bar near our pool on our open day and it was fresh and tasty. The wedding took place on a point by the water right at sunset and it was over the top beautiful. Our room was spacious and very well appointed. Our patio on the second floor was very nice and had an amazing view of the ocean. So nice and a great Key experience.
