Overall a good convenient place near all the main attractions of Brussels. It is located in a pretty safe area- avoid near Train stations b/c that tends to be where thieves/pick pockets tend to hang out. Includes their morning continental breakfast. Design was modern and had its own charm. Hotel hallways felt a little rickety and old in my opinion- walking on wooden planks is what it felt like, loud footsteps down the hallway. Rooms were clean and bright. Staff was friendly and nice. There's a gallon of water with a hand pump to refill water. Rate was about 98-100 USDs a night even during peak holiday season (December). Not a crowded hotel.
Floors are labeled 1 0 and -1 which was idiosyncratic to this place in my mind. The breakfast is on -1 floor and included milk, croissants and danishes, yogurts, dried fruit, fresh fruit, cold cuts, and nuts. Much better than any continental breakfast in the US.
Hotel was overall quiet and a good place to stay for families, couples, and travelers. Only problem was the hallways was loud when you walked up and down b/c the floors were like wooden planks that had that creaky feel. read more
