No one acknowledged me & my children with even the slightest hint of kindness. Doctor was dismissive. Not wasting my precious time or finances here again. read more

We used to love aqua, dental, and into our insurance did not accept Dr. Sam Owens, which is OK, but we had to switch over to another doctor, Dr. Tara and she is horrible. She pride at my daughter's teeth and made her mouth hurt and she did not care one bit she just wanted more money in her pocket telling my daughter needs braces when obviously she does not and now she was trying to do unnecessary things that we do not need and she was very rude to us and talked bad about us and did not give one single flying duck I do not recommend this place to any parent find another place read more

Caution: Dr. Tara acted nice when she walked up to my anxious daughter but she quickly revealed her true colors. She was impatient without compassion after bragging she was a pediatric dentist. She confidently told us how she talks with the kids through each step. My daughter asked her to pause before she continued numbing her for the second time (she had to do it twice) and she said she couldn't continue. She said my daughter has to be fully sedated for her to work on her. Then she just walked off. As we checked out she sat at the front desk eating her lunch and didn't say a word to us as we left. The place was completely empty, not a single patient while we were there. read more

I am so glad we chose Aqua Dental to be the practice for my 3 year old. They run like a well oiled machine-there was zero waiting time from beginning to end, something that is much appreciated for a toddler! My son loves coming here and loves Dr. Tara. She's knowledgeable, makes him feel extremely comfortable, and I trust her judgement. I highly recommend Aqua Dental and Dr. Tara. read more

Dr. Tara is amazing. My three year old daughter is very shy and typically scared in doctors offices. Dr. Tara and her staff were so welcoming a patient with her. Dr. Tara took the time to explain things to me and my daughter and taught me some techniques to make brushing easier and her over all dental hygiene better. The office is so nice, and has such a cute aquatic theme. read more

I LOVE Aqua Dental. Dr. Owens (now retired) was my pediatric dentist until turned 18. At that time, they didn't see adults too. I saw a few other dentists for 6 years and no one compared to the experience and treatment I received from aqua dental. The current adult dentist, Dr. Bo is amazing. Him and his staff are top notch. It is easy to book appointments, with many dates and times to choose from. Not to mention, they open at 7:30 so, for me, I have the option book at 7:30 and miss as little work as possible with that. They also saw me within a few days for an "emergency", while other dentists couldn't book me for over a month. Plus, The staff walks you through what they're doing and can explain in different ways to make sure you understand everything. One of my top reasons for going to Aqua Dentals is they put your best options forward. They won't advise a solution just for the money grab. They are honest, hard working, intelligent, reliable and overall great people. I could go on an on about how wonderful Aqua Dental is to be honest. But I'll leave it at this, I 110% & 11/10 recommend Aqua Dental. Adults and/or children will love it there. read more

Over the last several years, my boys have had dental work done here and never had an issue. Our last visit, however, was a nightmare. I took my 8 year old son last September to have a baby tooth pulled, 2 cavities filled and some sealants. He was nervous, so we made the decision to come back and do the oral sedation to make sure he was more relaxed and comfortable. Day of appointment we show up an hour early, he drinks the small amount of medicine and we wait. They call us back and we start the nitrous. He has some moments of feeling nauseous from the gas, so we take a break from it. After it lets up, they start the gas again and Dr. Tara (who we had never been seen by before) came over to start the work. My son was being cooperative, until they pull out this device that I had never seen before (I later find out after researching it that it is a Zyris Isolite system). This thing seemed so big and obnoxious to me and she is folding the silicone flaps of it and trying to get it in my son's mouth. Of course he starts to panic and on top of the awkwardness of this big silicone thing, she turns it on and it makes a loud suctioning sound. I would have panicked and I'M AN ADULT! Since he started to get scared and not want it being crammed in his mouth, Dr. Tara tells me we aren't going to be able to get the work done, because they need him calm and holding still. So I was sent on my way and told that we could come back to do anesthesia and have him put to sleep. She didn't offer to attempt the work without this Zyris Isolite thing, which mind you this was never used on them for their prior treatments here. They make me pay the $250 for the medicine he drank before his appointment and the $30 for the nitrous and we had NO work done. Then I'm told that if we come back for anesthesia it would be $600+. I was disgusted. I will never go back there. The experience has caused my son to now be anxious about going back to the dentist and he is even fighting going for just a cleaning. read more

If I could give zero stars or negative stars, I would. They do not care about patients only over coding insurance especially soonercare. The dentist is extremely rude and extremely condescending. Stated my son would have to be put to sleep for a cap because he was "uncooperative" oh you mean because your assistants couldn't get the bite wing X-rays and was hurting his mouth causing tears to flow but my child absolutely didn't fight , scream or in any way act "uncooperative" so not sure why that was "noted" in his chart. She left a metal coated cap in my daughter's mouth that literally had jagged edges on it cutting her tongue but said it was her fault because she probably grinds her teeth... she quickly informed me I "knew nothing" and she didn't appreciate me "questioning" her work and advised me she could refer me elsewhere because she wouldn't be seeing us anymore lol as if I would take my kids back to her. Being board certified and passing a bunch of tests means nothing when you have bad chair-side manner. read more

I've had a good experience with this office when Dr James Owen's was there. But now he doesn't own the office and it's been completely horrible since then. I absolutely do not appreciate how the new doctor there, Dr Tara Denton, I've experienced her be completely rude and disrespectful to her patients and the parents of the patient. She also needs to be quiet when she walks away and talks bad about her assistants because we have ears and we can hear you. She is money hungry and does not care giving your child proper dental care. She adds unnecessary treatment so she can have more money in her pocket. I would not refer my worst enemy to her. Please don't take your kids here. read more

The best everything- dental work, customer service, atmosphere, friendliness! They are amazing!

This pair is the best, most professional and caring father and son team I've ever encountered. Bedside manner couldn't be better. I just love all the staff and the place! read more

*BEST.DENTAL.GROUP.EVER* Dr. Sam is a stellar person who happens to be a fantastic dentist. Our 15-year-old got his braces off last week, and we're thrilled with the results of Dr. Sam and his staff. They truly believe in patient satisfaction. We've experienced consistent communication, quality care, and transparent billing. Aqua Dental goes above and beyond to ensure complete patient satisfaction. The office is clean and well laid out with fun "under the sea" theme, and lots of great stuff to entertain kids in the waiting room. When you walk up, you have a door leading to Pediatric and the other to Adult & Cosmetic Dentistry. Awesome having one dental office to meet the needs of the entire family. You won't be disappointed!! https://www.aquadentalok.com/contact/ #aquadentaltulsa #drowens read more

This was the WORST Pediatric dental experience!!!! This is an unprofessional hateful incompetent dental office. This is a HORRIBLE place for dental service and I'm being generous. SAVE your time and money and find someplace else that cares for your CHILD and you! Please tell everyone you know. The blonde female that works in the office at checkout (scheduleing) was rude and had a frankly I don't care attitude. When asking her a question she snears at you and waits a long- time before pretending you're not standing there with your child before she responds with a "well thats just how we do things here" then says someone will call us in the future that will answer all of our questions About my 8 year old dental surgery. Then No one calls us for 4 weeks to say anything about cost, procedures, expectations, Nothing! I even called them days prior and NO return call until the evening before the scheduled surgery at 4:58 pm before their office close with a message to hurry up and call them back from the Financial Coordinator/scheduling female that obviously doesn't care anything about the patients (your Child or you) and has an attitude when leaving you a message. RUN from this company these people will only add unnecessary stress to you and your family! You'll be glad you did! read more

When Dr. James Owens was in Broken Arrow it was a family friendly place. Now they moved to Tulsa and it has become more like a corporate setting. For many years my kids have been seen by Dr. Owens and now one of my kids are in college. It all started with our appointment and was told Dr. Owens was not in. No one from the office told us that. They went as far as telling me they called and told us this. This was absolutely not true. We even checked our phone records, nothing! They lied and didn't even care we've been put back to another appointment for several months. The office manager basically didn't care and was going to defend her office mates regardless. You have to understand we waited months and then they pushed it back several more months. The day came and we arrived and it was like, "Oh, he is not in. We called and told you". No they did not. Then without an apology they wanted to reschedule. BTY I never yelled or acted in any type of bad manners. I keep it professional and stuck to the facts. I don't like being called a lier, even if you are not saying it. We are currently looking for a new dentist. Staying away from places like Aqua Dental with a corporate like atmosphere were the patients become paying customers. read more
