I did not mention the other dentist until AFTER Dr. Patel treated me. All I needed was bonding on 4 teeth that were chipped due to stress from the job. I was not given any printed aftercare instructions and had multiple complications following extraction and bridge placement. Dr. Naik suddenly "retired" a few days after my extraction, and his partner took over care. His partner had much better bedside manner, but nothing went right after the tooth extraction. The temporary bridge did not fit properly and fell out. The permanent bridge did not fit properly and had to be sent back to manufacturer, then it was not cemented well and also fell out. just now New We had…read moreused Dr. Ladd as our primary Dentist for years. He's performed 2 root canals on me that both failed. In 2021 he performed a root canal on my daughter, he ended up going back in as she was still having issues. He went too deep and it damaged her trigeminal nerve. That caused a disease known as trigeminal neuralgia or otherwise known as "the suicide disease" as the pain is so bad it's results in people taking their life. Once he aware of this he made no referrals, no assistance in helping us find answers or solutions to help my daughter and 4 yrs later my daughter just had brain surgery to fix this. Prior to surgery she went to the ER 53 times from Jan to Sept of this year. This condition is so rare no one knew how to treat her. They thought she was "faking" it until we found a neurosurgeon who knew what this was. The surgery was unsuccessful and now she's going to have to have that nerve radiated to completely deaden it. After her surgery I called the office to let them know and he still said nothing. Did not even return a call especially in the early days when I really needed his help. We CHOSE NOT to sue, regrettably. I waited until after the 2 yrs to sue was up and called him, thinking he might atleast offer an apology. Nothing. I truly thought he cared and it was just an accident. It wasn't. My daughter has been living a life of Hell and he could care less. She was down to 89lbs bc she could not eat as it flares up that nerve. I have never been so disappointed in someone I trusted so fully. Please think LONG AND HARD before letting him work on your loved ones bc he cares about that paycheck not the patient. Tawnya Hale
