On the Cusp has the best physicians!! Each one of them takes the time to care for their patients. They were able to fix my daughters cross bite, and make her bite so beautiful. I loved the dental assistants, and how they welcome the patient upon arrival and making them feel so comfortable. They are all gentle and kind, and speak so warmly to their patients while working on their teeth. I trust these dentists and assistants, and the wonderful work they do. read more

After see Dr Roberts (the owner) for 5.5 years, I was told my special needs child need extensive dental work. It was going to cost about $3,000 CASH! But if I moved it to the hospital my health insurance would cover more than 1/2 of it. When I call the office and request to move the surgery to hospital- I was told it was a year waiting list and was honestly treat very poorly. I was spoken to like I was a bad patient. I questioned some of the billing and some billing codes and they way they spoke to me GOT A LOT WORSE! I called another office in town and I was told if son needed surgery we could have it done in on the next 60 days. So I called this office back and questioned the 1 year waiting for the hospital. Was told the same thing. So unless I was willing to pay cash - I have to wait a year. The next day I got a phone informing me that Dr Roberts was upset that I questioned him and he would not see my son again until he see another Peds Dentist. BECAUSE I questioned his Billing and Questioned the fact that I was unwilling to pay $3,000 cash to his office when my insurance would cover this at the hospital and I questioned why he had a 1 year waiting list. So I'm the bad guy because I'm trying to do what is best for my child and my family. I will never go back and I will never recommend them because this is not fair to child! They were so thorough, going over and making sure I knew everything that was going on with my 7yr old son, who was in for silver caps, baby tooth extraction and a spacer where they removed the tooth.. They were so caring n making sure as time went on that i was ok and telling my son was doing great. The nurse had even called me and said the DR was ahead of schedule and they be happy to have us come in early.. the Dr. Was awesome.. caring friendly the best dentistry team. I took my child here when she was four. At the time she had four cavities, I was quoted over $800 for fillings. Now she is 6 and again has four cavities. At another dentist I was quoted $140 for the exact same procedures as On the Cusp. I have the same dental plan. I have figured out that On the Cusp charged me the patient owed portion instead of the the co-pay. My new dentist took the time to explain it to me and charge me correctly. Shame on me for not understanding my dental plan, but shame on you On the Cusp for taking advantage of your patients. read more

I decided to come here because my friend takes her kids here. Worst experience ever! They tried to over charge me on the estimate by several thousand dollars for my child's procedure, compared to 2 other estimates I received from other comparable dental offices. They also put on my credit report a no show fee of $65 that I didn't pay because I didn't show up for 1 appointment - I've never had any office ever do that to me - very unprofessional! The no show fee on my credit report is still on there from 6 YEARS ago and is still affecting my credit today!!! Do your research before going here! read more

Staff and Dr are very polite and compassionate but please PLEASE do your research. Buyer beware! My son had oral surgery that was initially estimated and agreed upon at around $1800.00. Immediately after surgery that figure changed to $2400.00. Care credit was billed and insurance was filed. Insurance paid $1200.00 making it a total of $3600.00 received by on the cusp. None of the insurance was paid to the credit card company care credit and my husband and I can. It make them understand simple math. Long story short they pocketed a large sum paid by our insurance. read more

Dr Roberts has been fantastic working with my two boys. My youngest has weak teeth so has needed more attention at 18 months old than my 4 year old has. He's been patient and gentle each time with both of them, which not only helps them, but puts this mama at ease as well. The dental hygienists all have taken their time, not rushing my boys, and explain what they're going to do to both to me and my oldest. All of the ladies at the front desk have been friendly and kind. Ms Christy especially goes above and beyond at welcoming my boys coming in and calming my littlest after (shhh, she gave him TWO prizes from the basket!) as even just a simple check up is slightly traumatic for him. All in all, I'm glad I have this whole office on board as part of my kids treatment team. read more

I showed up for our appointment and was told I didn't have one and was asked if I could come back another day. I told them I was told this time and day so they "squeezed" me in. As I was waiting the same thing happened to the next person who came in. I felt it was very disorganized. The assistant and Dr. Chelsea were both very friendly but I ultimately chose not to return because there pricing was much higher than the previous office we visited. read more

I can NOT say enough wonderful things about this place. My 3 kids have been patients for a few years now, and we've started using their Orthodontists as well. My kids have always felt comfortable and happy going there, despite bad experiences and anxiety at other "kid friendly" offices. My son had an emergent situation that involved almost immediate facial swelling, pain and numbness and they got us in quickly that morning- accommodating our concerns, and was able to quickly get us scheduled for oral surgery. Because it couldn't be done until morning, they worked to arrange for a direct admission to the children's hospital for overnight antibiotics, pain management, and monitoring. They made a scary situation seem under control. Every time a decision was made between them and St. Francis doctors, their office personally called me to include me in on those decisions. Dr. Ashley was phenomenal. The most genuine and compassionate dentist/dr/ professional we've ever had the privilege of knowing. She communicated efficiently, clearly and was straight forward about what needed to be done, what else might need to be done if they saw a need, and what things could go wrong. Because of this being a different type of issue, she even called at 6pm that night to check in on his progress, even giving me a number to contact her directly if any issues arose. She even made sure my follow up was scheduled with her so she could confidently sign off on his process. Aside from Dr. Ashley, we have also seen Dr. Chelsea, Dr. Kelly, and Dr. Ryan and they're all wonderful as well. The hygienists are amazing too and my kids love them each. They sit and engage with the children while waiting on the doctors to arrive, they take an interest and tend to their needs, and the kids notice. My son is especially fond of Taylor! He adores her. My very first time there and little did I know how such an astonishing experience it would turn out to be. My four-year-old daughter and I were welcomed by lovely, very accommodating, and empathetic professionals. In fact, my daughter got very comfortable and was at ease by allowing the staff to address the brought forward issues. Dr. Ryan Roberts, you left me in awe! I truly appreciate you for being genuinely compassionate, knowledgeable, great with the kids (in a comfortable manner). Everyone was a major joy to be around and treated me as if I was family. It appears to be that he hires top-notch employees who represent themselves professionally and speak to you as if they really care. Very nice staff and doctors, however their appointments are not kept on time. We have to reschedule after waiting an hour to 3 1/2 hours past our appointment time, not good for kids who are already nervous about going to the dentist and have a disability. Depending on next appointment we may go find a different dentist office who won't keep doing this. read more

My children have had some bad experiences at other pediatric dentist before and were nervous before we got here, as soon as their names were called you could see the fear in their eyes, but when they got in the back the hygienists put them right to ease and all three of my kids were completely relaxed and did amazing!!!
