I found this place through yelp. I was looking for a salon closer to home and thought I give this place a try. I am glad I did. Sou was my hair stylist and I liked how she layers my hair and colors it. It's really nice! And I like how she doesn't trim off too much of my hair. A lot of salon stylists when you asks for a trim they usually cut off a lot like you have a whole new haircut lol. I had 2 occasions with the other ladies there cutting my hair, styling it and coloring it...but, it was not as good as Sou's. Try it out. Following up on my 9/16 last minute all day transformation! Kaly outdid herself this time! We took off about 8" of length, she created the prettiest silvery blonde! I love my easy to style blunt cut that brushes my shoulders...My girls are moving the salon (Oct 1 2018 Grand Opening ) and I wish them all the best in the new location at Lakewood Blvd just north of South St past the feed store & Bright Now Dentist. I called at 9am and got an appointment for 1030am. Came in and everyone was so friendly, offering coffee, tea, hot coco, and cookies. Small place but very cute and cumfie!! When I went, there were only 2 ladies working because the other two called in sick. So the two ladies were working on 4people all at the same time, so my manicure took longer than expected (but that's just a last minute thing) But other than that, it's a very good place! I walked in asking how much a hair cut was. The lady told me it was $15. Great! So I told her what I wanted to do. I told her I was donating my hair and to cut off 10 inches. Most people put the rubber band on first then cut.. nope. She cut it first then put on a rubber band. I then tell her how I wanted my hair cut. She tells me no it won't look good. How Is she going to tell me how my hair is going to look when I've been doing it for years? She asks if I wanted her to straighten my hair so she can cut it better. Of course I tell her yes but in my head i was like "oh this is going to cost me". Sure enough I went to go and pay and the price is now $25.99. I paid the $25 only and left. No tip. Next time tell your customers what additional charges are going to be before you go and scam them. That's why I gave you no tip. You get $5 off if you post a review on yelp. So glad I found this place. I love it. I've been looking for someone to help maintain my short natural cut and Kelly is awesome. She has cut, shaped, colored, and styled my hair. One stop shop including nails, massage, and waxing. Small. Friendly. Affordable. Relatively quick in the hair chair. My mom and I came here for a two gel manicures and we were in a rush so we came here because it's so close to our house. However, we definitely regret it. We're both VERY good customers wherever we go. We leave great tips and we're not cheap. Anywho, the woman who did my nails was OK. The UV machines are very dirty. Also she started working on another group while she was helping me. She left my hand in the UV machine for over 3 minutes at a time. Which is not good for you. As for my mom, the lady she had was AWFUL. I don't know what her name was but she had long straight black hair split down the middle. First of all she asked my mom if she wanted a manicure and my mom said she did. However this woman threw kind of a fit when my mom said she wanted gel polish not regular polish. Also she was trying to get my mom to choose a different color which the reason was that she DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO PUT THE COLOR ON. My moms nails were full of streaks. On top of this, that lady was hella rude! OH and she made my moms cuticles bleed. I'm sure this place is not as hygienic as others too so if they break skin, be worried. Sorry, no tip for you. Do yourself a favor, and spend $10 extra dollars on another place that's more hygienic and has more friendly faces. read more

I had an overall good experience here! I came in thirty minutes before they close (they close at 7pm on weekdays, I believe) and they happily accepted me. The nice lady who did my nails was Candy, I totally recommend her. I showed her a picture of the nails I wanted and she pretty much executed it well! I got a gel manicure with designs for $25 flat. It was pretty inexpensive! I liked how she took her time taking care of my cuticles. She probably spent about 30 minutes caring for my cuticles. I would totally come back for her! read more

Well this business is very new to this location on Lakewood and Ramona. I came in requesting a Manicure and Pedicure. They were nice in the beginning but have no value of time. When I walked in I asked how long it would be and received a response of just a few minutes. A few minutes to me is I'm working on finishing putting on the polish on the client I'm currently working on , after waiting 10 minutes and now seeing her take her client to get a Pedicure. WT heck....When I asked her how long it would be for my turn, she stated oh it only will take me 10 minutes. Sorry but if it takes you 10-15 minutes to do a pedicure, I do not want your business which tells me you do a poor job. They do Quantity over Quality work. I also see that I paid for you to remove my gel polish but you left chunks on there and painted over it. I can also feel you digging into my cuticles. Not only am I still mad about the bleaching and frying off half off my hair! But now since she has had a baby they are terrible. I last walked in after posting the first review and since then she will not serve me,. I went in and she told me they were busy, but for over 3 years they have always taken me and even stayed late. Now, she inst friendly anymore, and the work has began to suck more and more with the new ppl in and out of there consistently hiring and firing. I would never want to work for a lady like her, her and her husband suck at what they do! Get a baby sitter, or you shouldn't of had a child while running a full time nail salon.
