Long overdue review! I haven't seen Tarah in some months but I'm due for a visit. Reasonably priced for any hairstyle asked. You provide a pic of what you want & she makes it happen. She makes suggestions according to your liking & will always let you take lead. Conversations are always great & she is very friendly. Very family oriented & it shows. You should definitely make an appt as she is very busy. She is great at what she does. I was introduced to her using a Groupon and never stopped going to her. Location is not hard to find however parking can be a bitch. There is parking across the street by Taco Bell if you dont mind a little walk. The place is small but I love it! Very clean, decor is cute & its not busy like many salons out there. If it is busy, there are only about 2-3 people max in there; which isnt bad at all. I love it there! Its always nice to have all the attention from your stylist versus her/him being busy with multiple clients at one time. This is not a place to portray your multi-tasking skills lol as many women want you focused. There is another stylist there too, her name is Sarah. Very bubbly and always willing to help if Tarah is a little busy. Sometimes clients come in earlier than expected & the girls hate having them wait. Goes to show their attention & catering skills. I'm not going to be long-winded about it, because what's done is done, but seriously--what a mess. The color is uneven, my scalp is the same color as the red dye, and the grays are not fully covered. The shape is non-existent. I could mention several other things that made this a not-great experience but I'd rather focus on the hair. Never again. read more

I came to Salon Glam for a cut, conditioning treatment and style, and Tarah did a wonderful job. I usually get a little nervous going somewhere new for the first time when it comes to my hair, but I felt at ease with Tarah as she seemed experienced and confident in what she was doing. Yes! This place is awesome, and Sara is great! Salon Glam is an amazing place to get your hair cut, trimmed or styled. I've been going to Sarah for three years now and I couldn't be happier. She works with pretty much any style or cut you want. She's energetic and fun to talk to while you're in her chair. No one likes the awkward small talk. I like going to Salon Glam because the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. It feels as if you're at home but you're in a salon. Im a guy and I feel super comfortable in Sarah's salon. Not only is Sarah amazing but so are the staff. Sara and Tara are wonderful!! They are very reasonably priced for the work they do! Salon Glam was recommended through my wedding venue and I am so happy that I went with them! Sara did my hair and it looked absolutely beautiful. She was even able to find some clip in extensions for me at the very last minute. Sara is extremely nice and definitely knows what she is doing. She not only did my hair, but 4 other family/friends for the wedding and everyone was very happy with their hair. I met Tara the day of the wedding for my makeup. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I bought a Groupon for color, cut, highlights, and deep conditioning. First off, Tarah didn't start with me until a 1/2 hour into my appointment. I was out within an hour. I didn't get the highlights because I had emailed her to see if she would do an ombre instead. She said yes, but for additional fee which I didn't mind. So now tell me, what real stylists does a color, cut, deep conditioning, and a "so-called" blow dry in an hour? I kid you not, she applied the dye to my hair not combing the dye into my very long thick hair. She then put me under a dryer for maybe 18 -20 minutes, then so called washed it out. The stylists I've been to leaves the dye on for up to 40 minutes. All stylists I've been to would put a conditioner type cream around my face to keep the dye from my face especially if they dyed my hair a dark color even black. She didn't wash my hair out right. She only washed the top part of my head. I had dye all over forehead, ears neck, side burns. I asked her to take about 3 inches off my hair. She cut about 6 inches, let alone one side is longer than the other. Her blow dry is considered just blow drying my hair and using a flat iron on the tips to flip my so called layers. I left upset. I should've left when I got a bad vibe when I walked in, not feeling welcomed. She gave me her card and said she would do the ombre at a later time. She rushed through my appointment. I washed my hair and after doing so, you can see brown patches throughout my hair! I received an email from Groupon asking if i would recommend the salon. I replied with a big fat NO! I guess she got the email as well because she sent me an email saying she didn't see how she could've missed the dye all over my face. How can you not see it?! I am not a dark person! Also, she said she ALWAYS checks her cuts to make sure each side is the same length. NO SHE DIDN'T! She not once checked the front part of my hair! The right side is longer then the left and even after straightening my hair, my hair looks choppy! The first layer or you can say my length isn't even straight! Starting with me a half hour late and finishing within an hour... who does that? I could've done a better dye job at home! I sent Groupon an email and they refunded my money! Thank god my hair grows fast! I never had a bad experience with Groupon! I found the best stylist on Groupon. I just hadn't had time to take a drive to Beverly Hills. Had a groupon for a hair cut and Keratin treatment. Got an appt right away with Sal. When I got to the salon, the door was open but nobody was there, the maintenance guy came in and it was just me and him so I waited outside. Sal was 10-15 mins late. When she arrived she had her kids with her. The kids were waiting for the grandmother to pick them up, so during my haircut she was telling them to sit down, call grandma, go outside and see if grandma was here did not give me her full attention. The whole time I was in the chair the 2 maintenance men were in and out installing cabinets and cutting holes in the wall, not a relaxing enviorment. While the treatment was on my hair, Sal was on the phone telling someone she was almost done with her client and would be meeting that person soon. I felt like she was doing a rush job on me. It has been one month since getting the Keratin treatment and my hair is back to the way it was before, Sal told me it should last 3 months, not "bone flat" like she said it would be. read more

After growing up in orange county you can imagine how hard it is to find a good salon and a good hair stylist. Before meeting Sara I had been to at least four other salons and was never really satisfied with my hair or the prices! i have been going to Sara now for almost 6 years and I couldn't be happier! i have moved from orange county to canyon lake to riverside/norco area and i still make the drive to Salon Glam to see her! trust me she is worth it! My mom goes to her as well :) Sara is super friendly and always listens to what you want. She knows what will be good for your hair and what won't. I have never left the salon unsaatified with my hair and she makes sure of it. As far as her prices go they are extremely fair and reasonable. Some friends that go to other salons pay almost double what she charges! This salon is definetly a place to try. I can't imagine you leaving there unhappy with any of the girls. If you are looking to get your makeup done there is another stylist named Tarah who does amazing work! She has done my makeup for photo shoots and private events i have attended and i have always been happy with the outcome. Try this place and you won't regret it! read more
