APS electronics is Frigidaire's warranty repair company in my area. I had a tech visit, tell me that he will order a part, and left. Part was apparently ordered a week later. 5 weeks later, I finally call Frigidaire and they have no such order in their system. I tried to use APS through Electrolux (TLDR: don't). They couldn't show up on the scheduled date because a part from their distributor was back ordered and they wouldn't tell me when the part would arrive. They said wait for the part to arrive and call them when it does to schedule a repair. A month and a half later I get a text message that they need to reorder the part. Three weeks later, I called Electrolux and they tell me that the part was delivered to APS a week prior. I called APS to schedule the repair and they rudely said "no, we don't have it" and told me I was misinformed. I had to cancel the repair because they were waiting for a part to get shipped that they already received. read more

They are fraudulent. Came out for repair on my frigidaire range and I showed them the problem and his response was nothing but a mouthful of bull. Did everything he could to talk around the problem blaming frigidaire etc. Bottom line nothing was done. I called Frigidaire and they said parts were on order. I called APS and they said frigidaire is full of it and no parts are on order and the tech reseated a cable harness and everything worked just fine. I said really he never touched crap nor did anything and nothing was fixed. The audacity of aps to even try calling me a liar. Warranty fridge job left unresolved - still no working refrigerator APS Electronics was assigned by Frigidaire to handle a warranty repair on our French door refrigerator. The unit completely failed (flashing panel, no lights, no water/ice). Frigidaire initially scheduled service for 11/10 with APS, but no one ever contacted us. We had to call APS ourselves and were told the earliest appointment was 11/13. On 11/13, the technician came out, confirmed the problem, but left without repairing the fridge and without giving any clear ETA for parts or a follow-up visit. Days later, we still have no updated appointment and we've been without a working refrigerator for more than 10 days, with a family of five and a lot of spoiled food. Based on this experience - missed initial contact, lack of proactive communication, and no clear plan after the first visit - I would be very cautious using this company for critical appliance repairs. read more

By far the worst repair service company I have ever worked with. Our dryer broke and the OEM assigned the repair (which we prepaid for) to APS Electronics. They waited 10 days to order the parts, which they said would take 7-10 days to arrive. Multiple weeks passed and they said there was no way to track the order and that I had to wait for the parts to arrive. I finally called back the OEM and they said there was no order on record associated with my repair. So, 6 weeks later I'm having the OEM re-assign the service to a different provider. Nobody should ever voluntarily use this repair service, and Electrolux should remove them from the set of providers that they assign repairs to. read more

Awful, unprofessional experience. Technician came out to my house as my 6 month old GE dryer was not fully drying the clothes. The Technician did some tests for about 10 minutes and said everything was fine and suggested I just use the timed-dried setting and not any of the other settings. I then questioned him that this is an a sufficient solution for a relatively new dryer. He said "take it up with GE" and stormed out of my house. read more

Even though it took a while for my freezer to be repaired, Justin from APS Electronics did his best to repair it. It happened that it needed 4 parts so it took time for the parts to be ordered and shipped to my house then more time to actually get an appointment to fix it. But every time he came, he was professional and very efficient with his time and of course he did a great job repairing a very complicated freezer and drawer above it. read more

Falsely advertising that they are open 24 hours, they are not available after 5 on weekdays and not open on weekends. The associate handling calls, Maria, is particularly rude and unhelpful. Technicians are polite, although my issue was misdiagnosed and replacing the part they recommended did not solve the problem. I called again but instead of providing helpful information on how to go about with the process and next steps, Maria's response was "call the manufacturer", and did not want to entertain any other conversation and rudely hung up read more

They repaired one burner on a kitchen stove and charged about $1,000. I had no idea it would cost that much. My handyman said he could not fix the burner and brought the company's technician to do it. I cannot comment on the quality of the repair job because I don't live in that house and still have not seen the repair work. I assume it was good.
