Nice enough guy, but he was not great at what he did. ===========Update================ The dryer stopped heating this week so I bought a heating element and when I opened it up to install it found that Don had not bothered to reinstall all of the screws he took out and he had installed the drum belt upside down with the smooth side facing the drum.

While running cycle an animal got into the mechanism and chewed on a few necessary bits. I called Darren to come and assist me in getting the unit back on its feet and I couldn't be happier with that choice. I found him to be professional, extremely competent, friendly, and a master of his trade. Professionalism is an important trait when hiring someone, but not always found in smaller businesses in my opinion. I put in calls to three different appliance repair companies in my area. I had widely varied responses ranging from people who had diagnosed my problem sight unseen, to being told that they weren't interested in looking at my machine. Darren, while clearly extremely busy, called me back promptly, explained the situation and made an appointment with me. Later Darren explained to me that when making his schedule he tries to leave enough time to completely diagnose and work problems correctly rather than having to run off to the next appointment rather than finishing properly. Competence in things is also an elusive trait, unfortunately in my experience. Too of often technicians look for the quickest possible fix. The result is that multiple repairs come together before the final product is complete. While my dishwasher repair had multiple steps, and multiple parts needed to be replaced before ethe unit was functioning correctly again, Darren approached these in a stepwise systemic fashion. He also took the time to explain to me the chain of his logic in making the decision to replace which parts in which order. I am a bit of a geek when it comes to logical problem solving, I do it at work myself, so I very much appreciated that he took the time to let me know how he saw they system, and how each repair made sense. Darren's competence, professionalism and person-ability combine in a perfect storm of traits that make him an exceptional choice for repairs to my appliances and to yours. He brings a friendly take that is refreshing, does not try and overwhelm you with jargon, and is basically just a good human., I would highly recommend him.

I bought a refrigerator from this company for my own home because I have used them for my business…read moremany times. After the delivery drivers left we realized there was a large sum of money missing from an area of the house where the driver had gone into alone. There was a police investigation into the matter but they could not gather a strong fingerprints. So not enough evidence to press charges. The owner of the store will probably respond to this post and try to do damage control and defend the drivers, but in reality he is the one that instructed the drivers not to do a in person interview with police and instead send a statement via his attorney. I would never use this company again and suggest not to. There are plenty of reputable companies around.
