I bought my dress in early February 2024, paid in full and absolutely fell in love with the dress…read more I was told it would take 5 to 6 months for the dress to come in. I was excited and called at the 5 month mark hoping they may have heard something. I was told it seemed that my dress would take the full 8 months. I thought this was odd since I was told the full length would be 6 months but I figured it was fine. Not once during this whole process has the shop called me to give me an update. I have had to keep calling to find out what is going on. Multiple times they pushed back the date all the while telling me they really couldn't give me an answer since they couldn't get ahold of the designer. Eventually they got the owners in the loop only after waiting 9 months for my dress. My wedding is in May and no one can tell me a thing about my dress. The most of an explanation I have received is that my wedding date was further away so others were prioritized. I think this is a very poor reason not to have a dress on time. I am now out of time to order a new dress if something happens and almost out of time for alterations. I had heard wedding dress horror stories and only prayed I wouldn't be one of them. Unfortunately celebrations lack of communication and continued pushing back expected arrival time has made my wedding planning experience filled with anxiety and dread. Now they are saying since there are two stores they can't get ahold of the owners. They said that I would probably not hear back from the owners until the end of the week for an inquiry made 1.5 weeks ago. I would not recommend Celebrations to anyone and will be going out of my way to a different town for bridesmaids and groom/groomsmen attire.
