I have been an APRIA customer for over 20 years during which they have provided me with a CPAP machine and 10 years later a replacement. I have received supplies for my CPAP regularly about twice a year. Their service has always been very good and I have no complaints. I am surprised to see so many negative reviews and I think the reviewers have not been fair as my experience has been very good. I am planning on buying another replacement CPAP from Apria in the next few weeks. My favorite thing is that their Ogden office is close enough for me to go in and be fitted for the proper machine. read more

Avoid Apria like the plague! I was due for a new CPAP so I ordered one, they gave me the wrong tubing and refused to let me return it when I ordered the correct one. They did not explain that the machine was a rent to own so I would be charged 6 months of machine payments plus monitoring. Then they tried to keep charging for a 7th month! On top of that my insurance called me for a pre auth on an APAP that I never ordered, so my insurance denies it, then Apria bills for the last 2 machine payments as an APAP instead of a CPAP which was about 70 bucks more. Plus whenever I order supplies though them, they are double the price I could order online. If you love to spend your precious time (normally spent with your kids) on the phone with Apria and your insurance disputing claims, then by all means use them. read more

Worst customer service ever. They didn't tell us about our insurance not covering a certain amount of the rental. We never would have done it. Now we are stuck paying for a piece of equipment we hardly used. When I asked her how long our insurance covered she said as long as you need. And now they keep charging us for it when we had no idea. Worst service ever. Take your business elsewhere. read more

This place is AWFUL. I only needed a prescription nebulizer machine for asthma... the lady at the counter didn't know what one was....a month later: They wanted to bill my insurance company 800 dollars and me 80. I was told this by a overseas call center who had awful service. So I hung up and canceled and went online The exact same nebulizer machine (without prescription on Amazon.com is $30) it has saved my life multiple times and I didn't have to deal with these jokers (they are an insurance scam) read more

If I could I would give this company a negative 10. We talked with our doctor and 5 months later, after speaking to a supervisor and them stating that our vpap was a priority delivery, now 8 months later we still have not heard from them. Avoid this company! They have terrible customer service, terrible delivery and follow through. I don't know how they stay in business. We have been with Apria for 7 years for oxygen equipment. I would never recommend using this company EVER. They are very difficult to reach by phone to discuss anything. We had automatic payments set up initially with this company until they messed up with Medicare and kept charging our card for the full amount. They claimed they would refund our card once this was resolved, which they never did. So we stopped automatic payments. I received a bill on Friday February 23 for a 1 month balance and on Monday February 26 we received a notice from a collection agency for the bill that was due. I would never recommend doing business with this company if it's possible to use another oxygen company I would suggest you do so. read more

This company is not worth working with. They just keep giving me the run around. When I called for supplies the gave me another phone number to order my supplies. When I called the number I got a business selling home alerts and then it transferred me to direct TV. What does this have to do with CPAP supplies. They received my dr orders August 1 and called and left a message they needed to check with my insurance. Aug 16 they said they requested more info concerning my sleep study. I called my Dr and they never received the request. On September 1, my Dr resubmitted my sleep study to Apria. On September 25 I called and they informed me that it was sitting on someone's desk. They were going to elevate the request. On Oct 2 I called to see where my order was. Nobody speakers English that can be understood. I finally got someone on the line named Rain who was able to understand my concerns. They were going to elevate my request again. Oct 4 I called again and the lady took order for supplies. In a couple of hours someone called and stated they needed to cancel the order and would send my order to the local Apria office to have me come in and get fitted and instruct me on a new machine. Now it Oct 25 and have never heard back from them. I now changed my order to another company and within 12 hours they were able to fill my order. I have to give a star but I would not like to give them that credit since they do not deserve it. read more

I agree whole-heartedly with the reviews about the world's worst customer service! They act totally BORED while they help you & show not a shred of interest in customer satisfaction. I get more warmth from a vending machine. Also you can't call and talk to a local person. You have to wait on a long hold for the main company for even the simplest question. But far worse was about a yr later when I suddenly got a bill for the full amount of CPAP supplies. They said Humana didn't pay the bill so they kept hounding me for 3 mo. Even after Humana gave me the check # to prove it. Turns out Apria didn't feel like waiting on hold for Humana to straighten the error out. I spent a total of 9 hrs on LONG holds over 3 days calling back & forth. It was finally Humana who took over to that proved it was already paid! Also Apria calls INCESSANTLY to get you to reorder supplies even on Sundays. NEVER AGAIN read more
