I had our first floor renovated in the house my grandparents bought in 1949. Underneath the dining…read moreroom and hallway carpet were the original floors made of Oak and Pine respectively. Floors I had never seen before until the renovation. The hallway floors also had tile on them which was underneath the carpet. Lucky all the floors were still in pretty good shape. My original kitchen contractor had pulled up the carpet and tile and sanded them. However, we parted ways before the job was done and I reached out to AC&T to do the floors because of their great reviews. It was true. Kevin amd his team are great! Kevin initially came out and looked at my floors, talked to me about what I wanted to do, made suggestions. The price for us was good and so we booked with them. We stayed in an airbnb for a few days while they worked on the floors because I was having them stained and we wouldn't be able to walk on them. The team came in and re-sanded all the floors including the steps and made them so much better. They also reinforced the steps and filled in any wood gaps all around. I was quite pleased with their work and would highly recommend to others. Kevin and his team are totally professional and get the job done.

I told that person I would make sure they have a spot. It seemed like she wanted to reschedule or something Then a day or two later I get an email stating the sales rep was all of a sudden sick. How convenient and good timing. So I said okay and I wasn't going to work with them because the timing was suspicious. But I said that I would still work with them. So we scheduled another day. I received an email asking if they could come out on a specific day and I said yes but I guess I didn't respond that same day and that was a problem. The next email I got was a response with the another date almost two weeks later. I asked what happend to the earlier date and I was told the sales rep books up fast and they got booked and then the asked me if I wanted another sales rep and I said yes and asked what time could they make it. The final email the sent me said after checking they don't service my area. Like really?! I already gave them my address the first time we talked, and now y'all don't service my area? Which is the Philadelphia area. That's real strange to me and still confused by their actions and responses. I wasn't rude or anything. Maybe someone will have better luck with this company but I couldn't be okay without sharing this with whoever decides to contact this company and maybe they will see this and not do this to the next potential customer.

Extremely professional and the quality of work was outstanding. I had all the remaining carpet in my home removed which consisted of 3 bedrooms, a hallway 27 steps and a family room. After meeting Steve, there was an authenticity about him that none of the other contractors possessed. Every question that we asked him, he was up front, honest and listened intently to our wants and needs. After receiving many quotes, unfortunately then, we knew we had to save up before we could afford to have our kitchen done. Fast forward to the end of 2019 and we were ready to take the plunge! We knew that Steve was our guy. We gave him a call, he came back out several times to take measurements, design, etc. We had a start date of March 2020. Surprise... COVID! Everything was in limbo and we decided it was best to wait. Finally come August 3rd, 2020 Steve and his helper started demo work. Our final completion date was mid October. During construction time, I had two other friends getting their kitchens done as well. The horror stories they told me of their contractors being late, not being honest, charging more than what the contract stated, etc. had my husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot finding Steve. Many contractors now a days sub everything out and don't lift a finger. Not this guy! He is there every day, doing the work, and is passionate about his craft. He is meticulous and will not cut corners, leaving you a project that you are proud of. Steve is arguably the hardest working human my husband and I have ever met. When you hire Steve, you don't just get a contractor, you get a friend...that turns into family. My husband, my two children and I fell in love with Steve. He brought us joy daily during the two months he was with us and has become part of our extended family. We miss seeing him frequently, but now get to enjoy the work he did on our home daily.
