This is 100% not true, I'm a aspiring Hare Krsna devotee and we practice tolerance and never upset anyone. I was compassionate and she was not understanding of my unique situation and kept telling me the same stuff like a robot. She wanted me to come in for a 15 min appointment when I live 3000 miles away and was not compassionate, kind, or understanding or the situation. She ended the call rudely and said fine, have your Dad call him. Today My father called me and told me the Dr Shecklian called him and said I was rude which is an exaggerated tale, and I really wish I had the call recorded. This is not normal behavior for a grown women working in a dentist office. I talk to people all day long from around the world and rarly have any problems with anyone. Anyone who knows me, Knows I'm beyond reasonable and never rude or judgmental to anyone but the way this women dealt with me was not polite and I would never hire someone who can't communicate with customers. I run over ten companies and rarely have problems with anyone and when I do I immediately resolve them though empathy and a loving heart. Customer service is #1 in any business and the fact that Im an past patient and need medical treatment for an emergency and get treated like this is NOT OK. This dentist is awesome and highly skilled and Im sad he hung up on my father as my father always thought highly of Mark. Apparently Mark hung up on my father after he called him and told him what the secretary exaggerated. Not to mention he said that he doesn't wanna have me as a patient anymore. This is crazy, What a crazy world we live in. This secretary needs to take some classes on communication and emotional stability. Outrageous prices, slick misleading "savings" plans, inexperienced employee (not owner) dentists…read more My experience was more painful than a root canal without novocain. They post obscenely high prices to get you to pay $300 to join their "savings" plan. After applying the 30% plan discount the prices go down to merely unconscionable. I went to a simple deep cleaning. At the first appointment I was charged $664 which means the original charge was $863, which seemed high but acceptable. I waited more than 30 minutes to get the cleaning, which took no more than 25 minutes I just went back today to get the second half done and was told I owed $664. I laughed and said, no I paid that last time. To her credit, the woman at desk looked embarrassed but said that was for the first half and I owed another $664. This means that the total bill would have been $1328, which was reduced 30% by my paying $300 to join their "savings" plan, making the actual charge for a routine deep cleaning $1726. To add insult to injury, they charge a 3% fee to use your credit card. Judging by the lack of surprise and embarrassment of the staff when I complained about this I am not the first person to feel this way. I saw no dentist, only a hygienist. I was in the chair for no than 25 minutes. I waited almost 30 minutes for treatment. When I was kept waiting again for the second visit I cancelled. I'll never go back to them again.

I get completely overwhelmed and worried about my oral health, to which I'm told none of this can be fixed without extensive jaw surgery which Dr. Ally doesn't even recommend I do. What was the point of bombarding me with all of this terrible information?? Every time I've tried to ask questions about my jaw and treatment, she interrupts me and talks down to me. After that visit, they said I would continue to experience a lot of pain even after purchasing my day and night guards they made for me for $3000. They prescribed no treatment or medication for said pain I still have almost a year later from that initial May visit. I've since moved and had to give a new doctor my records. I even set up an appointment with another TMJ specialist. I requested 2 sets of dental records to Mary, who said that was fine and that she'd put that order in for me. After a week of no update from the office, I request again and again. They said no one in the office was available to make the imaging, then the machine was broken, and then they started ignoring my calls. Then, when I finally go in to pick up my 2 copies, Jeanine said I never requested 2 copies, only one. Despite Mary and Dr. Ally also being in the office, they did not relay that I had requested 2 copies MULTIPLE times. They say how "we never give patients 2 copies". After some back and forth, they start whispering, and then I'm being charged this fee of $35 for a second set of records. Why am I being charged for my own records? They lie and say I never asked for them, make me call in a bunch of times, hang up when I call them. The fact that you can't even leave a voicemail is incredibly telling. Not only is Mary incompetent at relaying information, but Jeanine is a liar and incredibly rude. It is clear that after I pay all my money, I'm no longer treated like a valued patient or even a valued customer, even though I still have all the issues I started with, except more financial burden from this dental office. P.S. This place has a completely separate name, website, and phone number, despite it being the same business: "Advanced Sleep & TMJ Center of New Jersey".
