This was a good find! My Bassplayer and I had a gig last Friday. Notice I said Bassplayer. For this…read moreparticular gig, he was backing me up on guitar. He realized he left the right cord at home and we had to find somewhere quick to get a quarter inch to quarter inch cord. I started frantically calling around and this place was the closest to our gig which was still 17 minutes away. I wish I couldn't remember the sweet young lady's name that answered the phone. Maybe Mel or Melanie? She told me right away they had the cord in stock and I sent him right over. He picked up the cord and saved the day. From what I understand it was pretty fair priced as well. Anyway, thanks so much Music & Arts for saving our the night.

As a parent whose child attends Music & Arts, I have gained valuable insights into what makes a…read morelocal business truly successful through my family's experience with their Yelp presence and overall service quality. This retail music store and lesson center exemplifies how exceptional customer service and genuine care for students can create a thriving community-centered business. From the moment you walk through the door, the customer service at Music & Arts sets them apart. The front desk staff consistently maintains a positive demeanor that makes every visit pleasant. Whether I'm dropping off my child for a lesson, asking questions about scheduling, or simply checking in, I'm always greeted with warmth and professionalism. This positive atmosphere isn't just surface-level politeness--it reflects a genuine culture of respect and helpfulness that permeates the entire organization. In an age where many businesses treat customer interactions as mere transactions, this personal touch makes families feel valued and welcomed. One aspect that particularly impresses me is their scheduling system. As any parent knows, coordinating children's activities with work commitments and family obligations can be incredibly challenging. Music & Arts excels at working with families to find lesson times that accommodate everyone's needs. They demonstrate flexibility when schedule changes are necessary and communicate proactively about any adjustments. This reliability and understanding has made music lessons a stress-free part of our weekly routine rather than another source of scheduling anxiety. The quality of instruction at Music & Arts is equally impressive. The teachers are highly knowledgeable in their respective instruments and teaching methods. My child's instructor doesn't just teach notes and techniques--they foster a genuine love for music while building technical skills progressively. The teachers understand how to work with different learning styles and age groups, adapting their approach to each student's needs. I've watched my child's confidence and ability grow significantly under their guidance, which speaks volumes about the instructors' expertise and dedication. What makes this store even more appealing is its affordability. Quality music education can often come with a hefty price tag, pricing out many families who want to give their children these opportunities. Music & Arts offers competitive rates that make private music lessons accessible without compromising on quality. This commitment to affordability suggests they prioritize serving the community over maximizing profits, which always keeps me coming back!

I spent a couple of days looking for a piano tuner who seems to have a lot of experience and within my price range and location. I contacted him from his website and he emailed me back within a day. Compared to all the other I contacted, he was very quick. I believed that my piano was extremely bad and needed repairs so we made a two appointment days in case we needed the second day. He came in and quickly gave me a quote which was a lot lower then I expected from his website's price listing and we didn't need a second day. While he was working on the piano, he explained to me a couple of his instruments about what they are and used for. He also told me about worse case scenarios (string breaking) and what the aftermath would be. He was here for a few hours (2-3). He was very respectful and kind. My dog liked him too. :)
