The dryer vent was not connected properly and had to be re-done, the refrigerator filter was installed backwards and would not work, and at set up no one tested the dryer and it does not work properly. Now we are trying to problem solve by doing a hard reset and hope the system resets itself and works properly. If not we will be going back to Spichers again. If someone would have checked the appliances at installation (which we paid extra for), this could have been avoided. We have had to contact them 4 plus times so far and possibly more if this dryer still won't work.

Scott has always delivered our purchases for free, even though we live in Pennsylvania! Our most recent purchase was a very large sectional sofa which he had to special order for us. When all of the sections arrived, he called to set up a delivery date with us. When they arrived, they not only unloaded the truck and brought in the sections, but he and he crew member fully assembled the couch and showed us how each recliner section worked. Now days, nobody takes the time to do something like that without charging an extra fee for the service. But not Scott and his helper. So like I say...shop around first, but make sure you stop in at The Home Center Furniture & Appliance Gallery on the hill in Hancock, Md. This furniture is junk and they will not fix it even when it breaks. We bought are son and daughter in law new furniture as a wedding gift and in less than a year it's already falling apart. He also purchased a king size mattress that he took home, but they didn't have the box spring in stock until Tuesday. NICK said he would deliver it free of charge on Wednesday because he was off on Tuesday. He said he would call me on Wednesday to give me a time when it would be delivered on Wednesday. Fast forward to Wednesday afternoon we called and he said he his guy was loading the truck and his guy would call when he was close. Fast forward to 530 we called back and he said he was busy but he said he would personally deliver it when he got off work at 8. We got a 730 from NICK saying he would have to bump it to Thursday morning. Guess what it's 345 no mattress they refuse to answer their phones Called corporate and filed a complaint. They said they were going to get in touch with him and they can't even get a hold of him. So two days at home waiting for box springs and corporate says they are sending it to emergency resolution department. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

Writing to share my experience with this store. I bought a rug shampooer online from a brand I…read moretrusted who always made sturdy products that are very easy to assemble and use and last for years. Well, times have changed. What I received was very difficult to assemble, to the point where I was afraid I'd break something. I called The Vacuum Store to see if they carry this brand, and even though they don't, the owner offered to help me figure out how to put it together. He also does annual maintenance on my Oreck vacuums and they run like champs. He's never been anything but patient and kind, and his prices are very reasonable. In fact I decided to get this new shampooer assembled with his help and donate it to Goodwill and buy something from him that I can work with more easily and keep maintained. I rarely write reviews, and I only know the store proprietor because I've been a customer there.
