The discriminatory tone/treatment was very unexpected. I visited this business to purchase a…read morerefrigerator outright, no financing needed. Before I could even explain that, the sales rep pushed multiple financing options and withheld the one company I trusted due to prior/current business with them. When I asked about it, she said, "Oh yeah, they're good if you have good credit," making an unwarranted assumption about my financial situation. I was referred by a friend who had a great experience with another salesperson. When I asked to work with that same person and inquired about his availability, I got vague answers, despite the rep admitting she'd already messaged him. Due to me bringing up the military discount my friend received, she quickly said, "We don't offer military discounts." I quickly called my friend on the spot to clarify. As she over heard our conversation confirming his experience just days ago, she used air quotes for this contradicting statement. We don't offer "discounts," but only the manager can apply them, and only if I don't directly ask". This conversation initiated the text to her manager. Now whether she did or not, further displays the untrustworthy communication received. Her interaction with me was dismissive, condescending, and made me feel unwelcome. I believe the treatment was discriminatory and not in line with fair, professional business conduct. Sure, everyone has bad days but this is not a interaction any customer should receive. I will be filing this complaint to bring awareness and encourage accountability and/or training personnel better in communication. None of the newer front loads would fit. Dan worked with us to get the feet to go down (not by simply twisting) and as you can see it fits perfectly. I highly recommend A Better Buy Appliance to anyone not wanting to pay overpriced retailers and don't mind a minor flaw (still can't find one on my washer/dryer). I'm looking forward to another appliance going out just so I can get a nicer one here LOL.

Left a message and in about half an hour, I received a call and that a technician would be out today. This actually made my day considering my wife was getting annoyed with the dryer. So I was thinking happy wife, makes happy life. Longhorn came out when they said they would and always kept me in the loop if they were looking to be running late. They replaced the roller and found about 20 pennies. It started up with no grinding, so I was saved from being flogged. They definitely earned my future business.

He performed maintenance on my fridge that was not completely freezing, making extreme noises and refrigerator not cooling cold. He replaced the condenser fan, said it was hitting the case and should be normal again in 24 hours. He left a mess on the floor that had to be cleaned up. A week passed and I told him there was no change. He came back out looked at a few things said a new motor was needed and he'd call back. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard from him. I read and watched videos, ordered the part and fixed it myself. During my research I learned the fan was supposed to look the way it was so it didn't need to be changed. This service was not worth the cost. Maybe refrigerator repair is not this technicians thing.

They responded to my text amazingly fast. I texted them early Sunday morning around 7 AM. Told me someone would be coming by 11-1 PM. I thought that was awesome. BTW not a fan of AI, but their AI call center is amazing. 1 PM (name withheld) shows up with his tool bag and walks in. He seemed to be in a hurry on the way in and on the way out. He pulls the refrigerator off the wall, does (something?) Pushes it back and tells me "my compressor is dead". He sends me an estimate for $1046.78. I place $100 cash down to get repairs booked so I now owe $946.78 on a "dead compressor" repair. He then scoots out the door after maybe 15 minutes. Knowing a compressor failure is a costly failure, it caused us quite a bit of stress. I decided, against the advice of my wife, to still give ProStar a try. She was ready to cancel repairs and buy a new costly refrigerator which I talked her out of because I know almost all brands are garbage except for Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid. Here comes Shawn on Tuesday. Super guy, diagnosed the problem correctly with pictures for me, got to the part that was actually malfunctioning (freezer fan assembly with faulty sensor causing a big block of ice over it) and got it back up running for way less than "a dead compressor" like "expert" (name withheld) said. $481 bill plus my $100 deposit. I'm giving you all 4-5 stars because of the initial poor customer service I got.

We had a good experience the first time years ago but it was more like a nightmare this past May of…read more2026. They came for a simple task. Dryer turns on but it doesn't work. They said they need to order part, part takes two weeks they put part takes off with check and leaves without letting us know. Later I put a load to dry and discovered the top panel is loose and the screws are still on the floor. We put a stop payment in the bank and threatened to go to the BBB. They come back and said I don't want Uno in my house again. Manager comes with Uno and said he needs Uno. So we let them work on dryer. again they had to order a part and waited by now I have a lot of dirty clothes that need washing and drying. Supervisor came with new part and Uno worked For a long time and dryer was finally working but the digital lights on my upright beautiful Maytage dryer were not lighting the entire numbers. I told them why since they were working before. He just said something stupid and told me that's something else. I didn't like that! Besides their lousy performance on this job they had attitude with me. NOW this is very interesting: Uno wanted me to show him the receipt from the first time he came and dryer worked for a while. I gave it to my husband to show it to Uno, Uno got it and my husband came back into the house. Dryer is in the garage. After a while Uno comes back in the house and asks me for the receipt and I told him my husband just gave it to yo. He said yes but he took it back. Then I asked my husband where is it? My husband couldn't remember. I told Uno MY HUSBAND IS SICK WITH CANCER AND HE JUST GAVE YOU THAT RECEIP. MY HUSBAND COULD NOT REMEMBER IF UNO GAVE HIM BACK THE RECEIPT. UP TO THIS DAY WE DONT KNOW WHAT UNO DID TO THAT RECEIP. BUT IT BOTHERS me that Uno started this trick about the receipt we had paid for and what was he trying to pull?? We waisted around $600 dollars letting these fool and unprofessional guys come into my house to do a lousy job and to make things worse what these guys did when they left was that after they asked to use our latter when they put it back (we didn't see how) they hit the device where garage door opener eye is to close and open. They didn't bother to tell us. But it took us nearly 2 hours trying to find out why the garage door would not open!!!! Someone else had to come to fix it. This was the worst experience we had with All American Appliances and Uno and his manager. NEVER AGAIN. WE ARE SENIORS AND MY HUSBAND IS SICK. SO I cannot believe all those nice comments about their services.
