Screws from washer and dryer left on the floor after tech left.

Service invoice dated 8/31: paid in full as was promised they'd return next day to complete servicing the dryer (he only reset thermostat because it wasn't getting hot) ie: cleaning out the lint from the drum and vent. As well as replacing the front loading washer Gasket that I ordered and was to be delivered when they returned. They forgot about me. It took 3 weeks for them to return. Absolutely no communication between workers as someone told me they were still waiting for the washer gasket... which I told them several times I already had. The day scheduled, they missed their 3 hour appointment window and messaged me on the 4th hour that they would arrive soon. I was unavailable Following day 10/4/2024 Windows was 1pm-4pm. He arrived around 2:45 Replaced the washer Gasket, but the washer was still leaking. Tech said that it wasn't from the Gasket it was another part, which would have been fine if I had not found extra screws after he left. Not sure if they're from the washer or dryer, I didn't watch him take it apart. Also said he didn't have time to finish service on the dryer, I'd need to call their office and schedule another appointment. He left at 4pm, still at the end of their arrival window, but he didn't have time... I called their office immediately after he left, lady said they'd get back to me, 2 days later still no calls. Invoice paid: 200$ Never again. I thought hiring someone would be more convenient than taking things apart myself, I was wrong.

    Here are the deets.

Service was good but they did not include the service call into thier labor cost which most businesses do.

Boris fixed it same day, needed 2 days to make sure the new compressor was working, but overall, satisfied.

They originally booked me for Saturday but told me they would call if an earlier appointment became available. To my surprise, they contacted me the very next day because of a cancellation. Our technician, Fabian, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He took the time to explain what was causing the issue and also educated us on the importance of routine A/C maintenance to help prevent future problems. I really appreciated that he answered all of our questions without making us feel rushed. The entire experience, from scheduling to the repair, was excellent. It's hard to find a company that's responsive, honest, and reliable, but this one exceeded our expectations. We will definitely continue using them for all of our future heating and air conditioning needs. Highly recommend!

Don't think twice; just hire Southwest!…read more Our AC was leaking water in our attic and several vendors came out to diagnose. All of the basic fixes failed, and they all said we needed a full replacement. We gave Southwest a call for one last opinion based on a friend's recommendation, and Erick saved us. He spent 2+ hours in our sweltering attic troubleshooting every possible issue, until he found a quirk in our condensate drainage that no one else figured out. Once he accounted for that, it was quick work to purge our line and clear a clog that was responsible for the overflow in our attic. He knew we were resigned to replace the AC and easily could have told us the same. But he worked extra hard on our behalf, provided an affordable fix, and stayed longer to clean up the shoddy work from the past vendors. Admittedly it took a little longer to get Southwest out to our home, but I now know it's because they're going to take their time and really solve your problem. Not just rush through the call and upsell you on work you don't need. Heroes.

It was clear they made an extra effort to help me out with this towards the end of the day (just about 5 pm!!). They were incredibly professional and made this whole situation so much better. I truly cannot recommend them enough. They retrieved the earring and graciously chose not to charge me for this service. We just moved into our house and feel so much better knowing they are here for all our plumbing and air needs. We have other jobs we hadn't gotten around to yet since moving in and feel so confident in hiring them to come back!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Update to their second response:…read more This morning I calmly expressed my concerns. I did not yell. What disappoints me most is that I was promised a manager would call me back today. It is now after 5:00 p.m., and no one has called. At 5:20 p.m. I called again, and Rachel told me that no manager was available and that someone would call me "as soon as possible." Once again, another promise with no follow-through. If your goal is to resolve this matter, then call me so we can discuss a solution that is fair to both of us instead of continuing to make excuses. Regarding the HVAC work, the installation of the two motors--one for the swamp cooler and one for the kitchen hood--was well over $5,600. If you believe otherwise, feel free to post the invoices. I will gladly update this review with the exact figures. As for not charging me for all of your technician's time, that's because he spent more than 10 hours on a job that he ultimately could not fix. That wasn't because you were being generous; it was because the work took far longer than planned due to the problem remaining unresolved. You also claim you responded promptly. The reality is that meaningful communication only began after I posted this review. Even now, I am still waiting for a manager to call me back with a real solution rather than more explanations for why commitments have not been honored. The most troubling part of this experience is the lack of honesty. Your technician failed to communicate what he could not fix and left me believing the issue had been resolved when it had not. As a result, my hood actually performs worse today than it did before your company worked on it. Everyone makes mistakes. What matters is how they are handled. Choosing not to be transparent with a customer, and then refusing to acknowledge what happened, is what has destroyed my confidence in your company. The continued lack of accountability speaks volumes. To anyone reading this review: choose your HVAC contractor carefully. Professionalism is measured not by whether mistakes happen, but by whether a company is honest, accountable, and stands behind its work.

I hired Lions and they did some work to try to mitigate, but said that it would be a problem down the line. Down the line arrived and I called Lions back when my AC was dripping excessive water. Turns out it was toast and needed replacement. I got a quote for replacement from them quickly. I shopped around and theirs was a little higher than others (5-10%ish) but I felt they had a very thorough quote that explained every step they would do, so I went with them. For the install, it was easy/quick to schedule. They told me it would take 3 days. Lions sent their subcontractors who did a really good job. It took the full 3 days to do the full install, and they were quiet, efficient, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. They did not damage my paint or walls at all. During the work, they determined there would be incremental work needed to make the system work more efficiently. They ran everything by me and asked permission before, and quoted me the incremental costs. In the end, I felt like it was the right thing to do. They spent time making new vents and ductwork for me for what seems like a very small incremental price for the amount of work. At the end, I asked them to walk me through all the work on video to explain the system which they obliged happily. One note is that my building HOA is very strict about going on the roof and doing installs to avoid damage to void the roof warranty. The roofers said they would charge me an egregious amount to supervise the HVAC guys to make sure it was done right. Instead, I got permission from my HOA not to bring the roofers as long as Lions did not damage or modify the roof. I explained this to them and they did a perfect job reusing the old mounts so no roof modifications were needed, saving me some liability. In the end, the new AC unit works very efficiently quietly and has new features to prevent the same problems my last one had. New AC will burn a hole in your pocket no matter what, but I'm glad I had it done well by Lions.

Of course, I realized my AC unit wasn't working in the midst of this hot, humid heatwave.
