I was just told by Mfr they are sending me a new "remote", it will take 10 to 12 business days to receive it. This is the LAST item I will ever buy anything from that store. When we first walked…read morein, we weren't sure based upon the place if we were going to be picking out iceboxes and pot-bellied stoves rather than modern appliances, but don't let the décor fool you. The salesman did not act like a regular salesman, and worked within our budget. We ended up with much higher end appliances than I figured based upon the Paytas allocation! He was not constantly trying to upsell, but instead actually consistently showed us merchandise that was on sale which not only fit the need, but allowed us to extend our budget. We also were in the market for a washer / dryer and settled on the Speed Queen. For an amount comparable to a high-middle brand, we got a washer / dryer that will last nearly forever. In case you didn't know, Speed Queen makes those washers and dryers that laundromats use. In fact, the model we bought is also sold by Pioneer to laundries, they just add a coin box to them. Not a super-fancy duo with a lot of bells and whistles, LED lighting, Bluetooth or stuff like that - just a tremendously durable laundry pair at a good price. If you have kids, and do a lot of laundry, I would especially recommend you go to Pioneer and buy a set of them. With some big box stores closing and simply lacking service capabilities (read: Best Buy), we were happy to give our business to a locally owned, family run business that treats you fairly. The fact that Pioneer Appliance pays their sales people enough that they do not work on commissions was a lot more comfortable than 'high pressure' sales people. I had already moved my vehicles out of my long driveway so the forklift would not have an issue placing them in the yard near my garage door. Imagine my surprise when (3) bulk bags plus delivery at $270.60 turned out to be (3) 1/2 CF bags of gravel all alone on a single pallet!!! Those tiny bags looked all alone and confused! I can only imagine what the supervisor must have thought when he/she/they/them signed off on the delivery, or, what the driver thought to have to deliver such an order. Maybe he thought I was a rich, invalid or an old man, or a wheelchair-bound old lady...who knows. Was he or she smoking crack this morning? So after speaking with the AI agent on the phone and getting through to a human after 15-minutes of it hallucinating (or smoking Internet crack), I finally got a human, explained the above, and waited 15 minutes on hold while she sorted it all out. She said the earliest the correct order could be delivered was Monday. When asked for an explanation? "The only thing they told me was there was a mixup on the size." Seriously? You think?
