We've had other issues with our dryer and always get flack that it's stacked and they won't bother with it unless we unstack it. Our electric oven broke over the weekend. And on Monday we called Appliance Attack. It's such a weird time right now with COVID-19 so we asked a lot of questions to evaluate the problem - we didn't want to have new people in our place if our oven wasn't fixable. Thankfully, it was. Billy was really nice, professional, quick but diligent and patient to answer any concerns and questions. Our LG Washer Directdrive WM2301HW model broke, couldn't figure out why it'd start and then stop after 1 spin. The inside wouldn't turn. The 10 year warranty on this LG is for the engine, not bearings. Billy knew right away what the problem was. Apparently these bearings give out around 5 years. Fixing the bearing would cost over $800, more than getting this washer new. - I asked about selling the washer for parts, where to get cheaper washer (installation/take old appliance out) and he suggested Savon Burbank for our budget (maybe buy for parts, used washer). Mention to keep our stack-able parts to match with the next unit since our space is limited. He was sweet enough to just check if our fridge was worth keeping or replacing too when I asked about it..... said to keep it, saving barely couple bucks a year if change it. I have an endlessly shedding dog, which is why my washer started malfunctioning after some clogging. When I texted them, Kristin was super friendly and responsive, and got me scheduled in with a tech on the same day. I had techs Henrik and Paul come check my washer out, and they ended up needing to replace the drainage motor due to the fursplosion that ultimately wrecked my washer's ability to drain. They were really friendly and professional, and were very sweet with my dogs. I highly recommend this company for any appliance issues. I'll definitely be using them in the future if need be, but I'm sure with everything they had to go through with my washer, they may not want that lol. read more

When I called yesterday, owner Billy immediately let me know the $75 flat rate for an apppointment. Paul from Appliance Attack showed up promptly this morning and went to work on our horrible, noisy, uncooperative dryer, which we now do not have to replace. Paul immediately identified the key problem and addressed it with new parts that he had in his truck, while giving us a thorough explanation of what was wrong with the dryer (which came with the house). I was VERY impressed with Appliance Attack. My dryer had a screw loose and was making a thumping sound. Billy diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it in 30 minutes. We have full size stacked washer and dryer in a closet nook that wouldn't power on. I called several repair businesses and even paid $150 for an electrician to come out, but no one would pull the W/D out to look behind it. I called Appliance Attack and they were able to tell us how to shimmy the W/D out and lead us to find the VERY simple fix over the phone! It wasn't a problem with the W/D or the electricaI. We just didn't realize the outlet has a safety feature that will turn it off now and then. I didn't catch the name of the gentleman I spoke to over the phone, but after he was polite and willing to help over the phone when others wouldn't even lift a finger, quite literally! I love it when a vendor lives up to their reputation. Appliance Attack's customer service was excellent. Billy scheduled an appointment for both my home and my rental property quickly. At the rental unit, Henrik identified the problem immediately, and was able to make all the necessary repairs. His diagnosis made perfect sense. He was a hard worker and friendly to chat with. The visit to our home also went well. The service man was friendly, serviced our built-in refrigerator and told us we'd be good for five years. Our previous company told us we needed to service it every year. Appliance Attack's prices were more reasonable than our previous company. Not cheap, but reasonable! I have to say I had such an incredibly unique experience with Billy. My Kenmore Elite broke and I went to Angi's list to seek an appliance repair person. When you do that, you're immediately contacted by many people. So, I went with the person who contacted me first (although many people responded within mere minutes!) The person I had come out was not Billy but still Billy recommended that I see if my compressor was under warranty. And it was! If I had not known this information, I would have been out at least $900!!! So now the appliance is being repaired by Sears under warranty. I wanted to write this because it's so nice to experience someone like Billy, who was just helpful, even though in this instance there was no monetary gain for him. My icemaker stopped working after I had to turn it off for a while to change out my water filtration system and did not come back on again. My LG fridge crapped out and a repairman from another company came out and told me the compressor needed to be replaced and it would take at about a month to get the part and cost around $900 to fix. He said it would probably be better to just buy a new fridge. I decided to get a second opinion and was referred to Billy from Appliance Attack. I texted him the situation and he said he couldn't take the job, but that I should check with LG to see if the compressor is covered under a warranty. I called LG and it IS covered! Fantastic. Seriously great. These guys are the best. Here's my story. Just at the start of the hottest weekend of the year when I had friends coming over for dinner, my fridge suddenly stopped working. Billy replied fast to schedule an appointment for the next day, and then amazingly he had an opening, so he came to my place on the same day that I called and he had everything fixed and working like new before my guests arrived. He even gave me advice about the warranty and maintenance of my fridge. Hurray! But that's not all. The very next day, my second fridge in the garage stopped working. I am not joking. Billy could not make it immediately, so instead he sent Henrick who fixed the problem and upgraded / tuned and improved everything on the garage fridge. Now that's working better than ever before.
