What a great company to call for refrigerator repair. Billy was a true professional and courteous. From start to finish this was a very pleasant interaction. Thank you, thank you Appliance Attack! Hands down the best appliance service experience I've had in years. Henrik was very knowledgeable, considerate and good at explaining our fridge's issues. Our 16-year-old KitchenAid refrigerator had two issues, occasionally a rising temp which was becoming more and more of a serious issue, and our water filter dispenser which had slowed to a trickle. Most refrigerator repair technicians would've probably just said "get a new one" Henrik seamlessly fixed both problems, by quickly ordering a needed part, and fixing a malfunctioning wire in the air diffuser. Henrik charged us a very reasonable and fair price for both repairs. Our KitchenAid is running beautifully once again. It was my Next-Door neighborhood blog which recommended Appliance Attack I'm so happy I followed their excellent advice. I had to re-post my review because apparently the guy behind this Company made up some fake complaint to Yelp. This is my experience with this business. I called Appliance Attack and told them I needed a new control panel for my Samsung refrigerator. The guy, Billy, told me it would cost $100 in labor and $200 for the part. He lied about the cost of the part. I bought it myself for $40 and did my own repair. I understand these guys have great reviews, but my experience was terrible. I called and spoke with Billy who agreed to squeeze me in for an inspection of my washing machine same day. (awesome!!!, five stars) unfortunately, when he got to my house he texted that he was here instead of knocking on the door and left ten minutes later. my girlfriend was waiting inside for him to show up. i thought that was pretty weak, but he had a busy schedule that day (and great yelp reviews, so i gave him another chance). i schedule another appointment and this time he calls back later that day and tells me the problem I described will cost around $450 dollars. bad situation but I appreciate the honesty, right? nope. after doing some research I found that the problem was a $30 part which I installed my self after some diagnostic help from an online repair man ($50 total). My biggest problem is that when Appliance Attack told me that I should throw away my washing machine another repair man was able to help me fix it via live chat. It sounds like I caught Billy on a bad week, but this was not a good experience. This is an updated response, Since Billy wanted to rebut my comment here is the text copy and pasted from my phone: Billy from Appliance Attack- Hi there. I just checked your model. I don't work on these HE washers. That problem you describes costs at least $400 to fix. Just called Appliance Attack to get service on a Samsung washer. Described the issue and was told over the phone that it sounded like there was a problem with the bearing. Was advised it wasn't worth it to fix since it could be a $900 repair. Was texted a video which showed how to check the bearing and sure enough, that's what it was. We made an appointment for the following day. He showed up well within the time window and even texted me with a 30-minute heads up. These guys were great. My first call I spoke to who I believe might be the owner. I explained my dishwasher wasn't draining. I have an Asko. He explained that it is a hard brand to fix and while he doesn't repair them, he had someone that does. This was on a Saturday afternoon. On Monday morning the guy came and in 15 minutes had my dishwasher working again. Granted it was a simple fix (drain filter was dirty/cogged. Gross), but the fact that the first guy called me back right away after I left him a message on Saturday, then found this guy to come help me Monday morning was impressive. Appliance Attack is AMAZING! Everytime I have called (and I've called several times for several different appliances) they have attended my request right away! Most of the time coming out within a few hours of my phone call, or if they are really busy, the next day. I have never gotten such prompt service from any other company. Billy is always very straight forward and honest. He never tries to up-sell me or coerce me into buying things I don't need. He tells me up front if my problem is something he can fix, or if it is an appliance (like a hot water heater) that he doesn't repair. In the one instance that he couldn't help me he referred me to an appliance repair place that could (it was a plumbing issue and he isn't a plumber). Most companies would charge you to come out and take a look. Not Appliance Attack. They are straight forward, trust worthy, and quick with repairs. This is a great find. Billy is a solid, reliable, honest person. I will never call a large, impersonal appliance repair business again. I called Billy to come out to replace the door seal on a front loading washer. He scheduled me in very quickly (and on a Saturday, which was great). Communication was excellent and it makes a big difference to be able to speak to an actual repair person in advance of the visit. What a pleasant surprise! I chose to call Billy when my fridge motor went out because I thought his logo and company name were more eye catching and contemporary and hip than the others listed here, for one thing. And was so happy when he arrived, looking like a guy I, a woman alone whose boyfriend is out of town, could feel safe letting into my house and closing the door behind me. He is not only a cool guy and really honest and friendly, he also got here in record time on short notice and immediately identified the problem. When he told me he needed to replace the motor, I was a little nervous because as it was, all three bags of my expensive SunBasket food prep items had perished well before their time and I didn't want to lose MORE time. But Billy had the motor right there in his vehicle with him. He emptied and defrosted my freezer, which looked like an ice cave in Narnia, replaced the motor and for a reasonable price, had my fridge running as good as new. The difference here is that Billy is a freelance guy working for himself. He's on top of things because he doesn't have to go through a chain of command. He's young and bright and personable and takes care of business. He's not some crusty old world guy with sweat stains, reeking of cigarettes. I also found out that Billy repairs washers and driers and I will be calling him again when the time comes to service ours. read more

I had a broken dryer and Billy was able to come over to my place within one hour after texting him photos of my dryer model and it's a problem with the broken knob.
