Staff were rude when rescheduling appointments and unnecessarily chastised me for missed appointments, offering no compassion or understanding for a busy lifestyle. Despite the fact that they had to reschedule my appointment time at least once due to my retainers not being delivered. I did not receive consistent reminder notifications for my appointments which would have helped a lot. Additionally the care was subpar. I needed more appointments than originally planned because at least three times the staff could not attach the bracket for rubber bands to my teeth properly. They fell off the same day I got home. Then I had to deal with the scheduling nightmare all over again. All of this and my teeth are only mostly fixed but I honestly can't deal with trying to schedule more appointments here. I don't recommend anyone waste their money here. Find an office that has better hours and more providers.

But the one lady Tina had been so nice on the phone that I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt anyway..since my insurance didn't cover many places especially. On the way there someone flagged me down to tell me I had a low tire...so I had to stop to fill it, which I wasn't even able to do and ended up driving there on a half flat tire..I raced in and checked the time when I went in and it was 3:08. My appt was at 3 and I apologized very sincerely and told them about the flat tire, the very rude receptionist "Joy" (ironic name huh?) actually put her hand up and told me to wait because she was on the phone. I waited a cpl minutes and she proceeded to tell a client on the phone that he could come in EARLY because their schedule is more open than usual, and the Dr is running ahead. She then hangs up and turns and tells me they can't see me because they have a 10 minute late period and it was 3:11!! Lol. I told her ok. I was 8 minutes late, for a very good reason, and she was on the phone! And can she please go ask someone, and she just said No!!! That is our policy!! So I said well can I please talk to someone else about this? And she just laughed in my face and said EVERYONE IS WITH PATIENTS! and I said "well that obviously isn't true because they were supposed to be with ME right now". And to treat a new patient this way, to have her in near tears, when they JUST said they have a clear schedule to another patient on the phone in front of me!! And then those cpl minutes making me wait made it go over the 10 minutes. I was there a little late sure, and I apologized sincerely. I risked my safety driving on a half tire to make sure I wasn't too late. But this woman JOY lied to me and disrespected me and when I asked to see the manager, the office manager came Out with a hostile attitude right away, she didnt want to hear my story at all, and didn't Care ONE BIT about my feelings or how long I had waited for this appt or just that there obviously was room to still see me, based on the call "Joy" made right in front of me..these ppl are very untrustworthy and disrespectful, and I think maybe sadistic too. It's sad because the reason I came was because Tina was so nice on the phone to me. But if this place is OK employing ppl who time and again treat ppl badly, like the reviews say (I'm so dumb to have ignored allllll the bad reviews!!!), then maybe they aren't good dentists either. Why would they be ok having mean ppl dealing with patients? Going to the dentist is already stressful without mean uncaring ppl too. Both of those women didn't care even a bit about me or patients in general it seems. I have gone to the same dentist for probably 20 years and I only was coming here as a second opinion to see if I could get a filling instead of a crown like my regular non sadistic dentist wanted...but I see now how lucky I was to have a much better dentist than this place all this time. That being said, they didn't worry about cosmetics or doing anything too costly, just getting my teeth filled or capped and even let me tell them which teeth I felt were most important, as my molars are almost all crowned now! Working with the billing department, they helped me get the most important teeth done and getting it to fit into my deductible and maximum allowed amount, leaving less important issues for next years plan. I could go on and on, but I'll just end with price... being from the Seattle area, I am amazed at the pricing. My crown was about $500 less than what I would have paid with dentists on the west side of the state, so I was able to get a lot more done too! I tried to talk and was ignored. I find this very unprofessional and unethical. Anything that we agree upon before the start of a treatment should be honored even if one of the parties decided to change terms at some point. Very very disappointed. I work very hard to pay all my bills in time, and to be caught with a "surpise" additional bill was not fair to me or any other patients that were in the same position.

But the previous comprehensive exam (done within the last two years) was done by a different dentist, so insurance would cover their compressive exam. They sent the wrong codes to insurance and they were adamant about us paying the fee. Pretty ridiculous, and frustrating because previous dentist we had for 5+ years, we never paid a dime. The lack of attention with insurance codes and burdening their client is disappointing and we will be going somewhere else now.

So when I contacted Dr mosby's office again to let them know that I was going to be seeing a different oral surgeon but I would like to still see Dr Mosby for the part that he said he was going to do, the office lady told me i couldn't be seen there because they didn't have time for me now. She told me they hadn't had a vacation for years and they all wanted to go on vacation.
