We were told it gets water tested before delivery... you would think they would check everything. we were excited to get it in the water and found the depth finder didnt work.. went in and they said they would schedule someine to look at it.. waited another 2 weeks because the one guy had deliveries to make and he wouldnt be in my area.. when he finally came to look, he was friendly but low and behold we have to order another part. currently waiting on a transducer and if that isnt the problem they will have to order another depth finder. who knows how long that will take! I would think when you are spending 70 grand on a new boat it ahould be usable. Verry irritating process and the lady at the counter could be a little nicer/ understanding. we all know wisconsin boating season is short. id like to use my boat this season and i only have weekends to do so. oh.. and who closes on a monday?? super irritating.

Do not entrust your boat or trailer to these people. They seem like just a sweet older couple at…read morefirst, but their true colors come out as soon as a disagreement comes up. Their conflict/resolution skills are nonexistent. We've stored our boat/trailer with them for 2 seasons, now, and this will obviously be our last. Recently Doug told us there was a mechanical issue that he fixed and charged us $450, then he brought our boat to the marina where we rent a slip. I have no confidence in his boat mechanical skills either, as several sketchy things have happened. He parked our boat in our slip at the marina. While storing it or working on it, they ripped several seams in the canvas. This was an older canvas, and I'm sure it happens all the time. We paid just $75 to a repair shop to have the seams re-sewn later, so no big deal. The problem is, instead of telling us they had ripped the canvas when they dropped the boat off in our slip, they balled it up and threw it on the floor of the boat and never told us they actually dropped it off there at all. For 2 weeks we were calling them (since we live an hour away) to see if the boat was dropped off, and they never answered their phones or voicemails. Finally we called the marina and the lady there went out and confirmed our boat was there in the slip, but uncovered. We drove right up and saw the condition of the boat. It had been sitting uncovered in the rain and storms for 2 weeks and incurred a great deal of cosmetic damage. The carpets and upholstery was significantly water damaged. And we quickly discovered there was mechanical damage as well. For another month we tried calling Valley Marine several times a week, leaving messages and they never called us back. I finally reached them by phone and Doug told me he was not going to return our trailer to us until we paid for the $450 repair he had made. I explained to him that the damages they caused greatly exceed that amount, and he said, "I won't let you talk and I won't listen to you." So now we have to get a police escort to get our trailer returned, and there will likely be a civil suit for the damages to our boat. Do not trust these people. They are unreasonable and they have now refused to return our trailer. Definitely more trouble than it's worth.

We are 6 adults, and four little girls ages 5-7 We range from beginner to experienced with kayaking. Just before we went out, the weather changed so we came back in after half an hour. We ate in the restaurant while it poured, and then went back out for another 90 minutes. We got out on sand bars to visit and play. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. This is a special place. This is our second visit. .

A staff member provides a comprehensive review of the boat and it's features, and then you are free to cruise the blue-green waters of the Chain O' Lakes all day. The pontoon (20' Hydrotherapy) was clean and comfortable, the canopy kept us shaded when the sun was hot, you have swim stairs in case you want to stop at a sandbar and cool off, and there were no issues at all with the motor. Plus they give you a map showing the lakes in the chain, detailing which ones are no-wake so the day was relaxing and trouble-free from start to finish.

I still told them the next day I was interested and offered TWICE to put a deposit down. I was just waiting for them to explain how their own free winter storage offer works. (Heads up, you still have to pay for shrink wrapping). Product knowledge is terrible. They argued with me that some models don't come with the padded floor tiles until I pulled up their own sales brochure and showed them that they do. Then they magically found them. After days of waiting for a simple answer on winter storage, they never responded and instead took a deposit from someone else yesterday and sold it out from under me. Wasted a trip from Wausau, wasted my time, and terrible communication throughout. There are too many good powersports dealers in Wisconsin to deal with this place. Sounds like others are having similar experiences based on the reviews.
