Shoutout to my down to earth and thorough Provider and caring medical assistant! All of my concerns were succinctly addressed and resolved- rather than dismissed or glossed over, which is so frustrating! The provider was accessible and friendly and Kate was very sweet. They are a great model for health-care staff in general; the way they treat all patients equally and with compassion as well as their willingness to address all concerns would be roundly welcomed at all hospitals, docs offices, and urgent cares. They even sent me home with supplies and a prescription available right next door at Walgreens. Super convenient setup. I can't even give her and Madison in her office who is equally as wonderful and helpful enough stars to demonstrate how helpful they have been and how grateful I am that they care enough to get to the root cause of my problems. yes, functional medicine is expensive but some insurances do pay for it. A few years back I had my wife switch over from her prior doctor to Linda and she agreed that Linda Burke was a much better improvement. The downside is that over the past couple years the office seems to be understaffed. Both me and my wife can rarely get ahold of the front desk during business hours, when we are able to call. Also, this last year has tempted me to try another place as I have been needing a referral for a worsening condition and have tried constantly reminding the office and Linda with no luck. I don't have until I can't walk to wait for a referral and will be looking for another doctor here. In summary, great doctor, terrible front desk and service and no since of urgency when referring patients out to other specialists.

My family member suffered ongoing severe pain while more than one referral, at separate times, didn't get processed and ultimately lost. My family member was afraid to say anything because of the attitudes of the Dr. and staff. Her needs were only met after contacting the insurance company, the BBB and the medical board. Then they moved and had the referrals done in one day. We left immediately after that and located a wonderful doctor that truly cares. If Ms. Price-Miller is ill or going through a personal trial in her life, she should take an absence of leave to address those issues without is affecting her patient care. I had a bone density scan this week at St. Luke's Eagle location. A majority of my appointments…read moreusually take place downtown or in Meridian. So, it was nice to have a 5 minute drive to my appointment since this office is down the road from me. The receptionist here is so nice! The downtown location should take a couple lessons from the Eagle location. The receptionist smiled at me. She was kind asking me my general check in questions. She had personality. These basic skills are lacked in 90% of the people who work in registration downtown. If I can have all my appointments here, I would. I hung out in the waiting area till it was my turn. Zach, the imaging tech called me back to the scanning room. He went through the process of the scan with me and guided on how my properly lay on the scan machine. He had me position my legs differently for a couple scans. And before I knew it, I was done. It was quite an easy process which was nice. My other appointments require getting poked at. The Eagle office is night and day compared to Downtown. They are so nice here. It's a smaller facility with an Urgent Care unit which is nice for non emergency visits. It bums me out that I have to deal with the rude receptionists and security check in staff when I'm Downtown. But it was nice to see how the other half are treated at this location. I will have to get more appointments fulfilled here. I leave happy which is nice.
