Finding Appleseeds about 2 years ago has been the best thing that could have happened for our daughter. Working with Emma and her staff, she has made huge strides in so many areas that challenged her despite efforts from previous therapists and teachers. We started off with private therapy sessions, and after seeing great progress, we put her in full time school there. While attending Appleseeds, she has become much more engaged and communicative and has learned basic life skills like how to show affection, eat a variety of foods, and how to interact with peers. She has thrived in this environment because she truly loves it there. She skips into the building and gives big hugs to therapists when she arrives. She asks to go there on weekends and days off. Our child went to Appleseeds Learning Center for three months because we decided to give it a real chance and get to know the therapists etc. After giving it a chance, we decided to part ways with them and go somewhere else. Appleseeds doesn't give off that warm, nurturing vibe that you want to feel when you drop off your child for therapy. We weren't thrilled about our child not getting the one on one therapy that we were told we were getting, but instead, it had more of a daycare center feel, sometimes with two or three kids to one adult. Every child needs a different type of environment to thrive, and this just wasn't the place for us at all. I would recommend looking at some other centers if your child thrives off of nurturing, love and one on one therapy. This place just didn't have that and it didn't work for us. read more

As a parent my child is the most important thing in my life. All of my love, care, protection, teaching, and guidance is devoted to my daughter and I expect the same level of care to be taken when I can not be present. Appleseeds Learning center has not only taken the time to reach all my expectations but they have went above and beyond the level of hospitality, individual attention, and personalization to my family's needs than I could have ever asked for. The quality of this school has been persistent the entire way and we now have a second place to call home. Emma was our sons therapist when we first started sending our son to Appleseeds. She did two or three sessions with him and then without talking to myself or my husband, she put him with a college intern for his ABA therapy. We weren't thrilled at all with the lack of communication between the owner and the parents, which we feel should be a priority. We pulled him out after finding out he was being seen by the student (after the first session), and ended up using a private home based ABA company which is very convenient, as well as a breath of fresh air knowing either myself or husband are present and sit in on his therapy. Due to all of the current serious "allegations" against this place, I would very strongly advice all parents and care givers to steer away from this center, especially if your child is non verbal. Our son attended Appleseeds for a few months, and only later after speaking to the owner and hounding her with questions, did she tell me that the "therapists" treating my son, were in fact just college interns with zero credentials or prior training. Choose a therapy center where you send your children to very carefully and make sure that you always do thorough research on the facility that you're ultimately trusting with your children's lives. read more

We love love love love Appleseeds!! We have been bringing our son since he was diagnosed almost 2 years ago. We have seen such a wonderful difference with him through ABA tutoring and social skills. Emma and her amazingly awesome staff put so much love and care into each individual child and we are very thankful to each one of them!! Appleseeds has been a life changer for our family! My son has been attending therapy and preschool for over a year. I can't begin to describe the amount of progress he has made in this time due to the loving, caring, talented staff and Director. My son went here for therapy for a while, and it just didn't end up being the right fit. I wasn't too happy with the fact that the therapists weren't trained properly, even though the owner assured me they were. Big lack of communication here. We are on the lookout for the right center! read more
