I've taken two classes with Apples to Zucchini (AtoZ) so far, and loved them both: Fermentation & Preserving, and Heirloom Beans. Both focused on fresh local produce and ingredients, and I learned many different tips for dishes. I enjoy cooking and do a lot of it at home, but still learned new techniques. I also think the class would be appropriate if you had little to no experience in the kitchen, since the chefs really guide you through. It was a really fun vibe to cook alongside others and meet new people. The chefs seemed really knowledgeable and ran the class on a good schedule, so both times we sat down to eat around 7:45 and enjoyed a great family-style meal of what we cooked. I'm a vegetarian and they made sure to accommodate any variations when meat was involved (plus other people in the class had dietary restrictions that they took into account). Highly recommend AtoZ! read more
