I've had nothing but good experiences with AppleOne. I was initially referred to Bob and told him I was entering the work force after being a SAHM for over 20 years. In less than a month he found a small firm that would consider me as a Receptionist and after 2 interviews I was offered the job. After a while I left that job to study for a certificate. I reached out to Bob again, asking him to keep an eye out for anything in the legal field. Less than two weeks later he found me a part-time temp role in legal that I was able to do while I kept studying. Interviewed there once. Very chilly response, the woman who I talked to didn't pretend to be friendly, and neither smiled nor acted like she had any interest in the process. I didn't expect much and forgot about the experience. After a few years I would apply for job get job offers from the company that would start promising before ghosting at some point with no follow-up. At one point it did go further with some positive movement. Only for the agent to contact me and ask if I had ever interviewed at the office, I told her I had but it was years ago. She did not explain why she asked but her tone changed and said she would get back to me. Then promptly ghosted. I no longer consider any jobs they are attached to. read more

Don't waste our time applying to any jobs that AppleOne posts on any job boards. The first time I applied was several years ago and I was contacted by the recruiter. However the conversation was not about the job that I applied for, it was to get my information. I never heard from the recruiter again. Fast forward to 2025 and I applied to a role posted on LinkedIn. I was contacted by a recruiter and once again there was zero discussion about the role I applied for. Instead she wanted 3 references and for me to fill out a bunch of forms. She contacted (ie bothered) my references without ever having a role to submit me for! I then started receiving useless spam email from this AppleOne recruiter. Some advice to AppleOne-treat candidates with respect. If I could give no stars, AppleOne is deserving of that. Other than the front desk and an older gentleman, the staff is awful. Avoid Amy at all costs. If you get assigned to her, see if you can get someone else. She is by far the worst person I have ever worked with. She is judgmental, unprofessional, misleading, and rude. Our initial "interview," if that's what one could call it, was noisy and there was no privacy. The office has no barriers so I could hear other workers and their details and could barely hear what awful jobs she was trying to pitch to me. Due to not having a car, I was only able to work certain jobs and was judged tremendously for it. Something that is uncalled for and very unprofessional, in my opinion. The people there are merciless. I was offered a job that was offered to another candidate because the candidate had yet to reply. Giving away jobs just so that the recruiters could meet their quota? That is typical of AppleOne. I ended up booking a different assignment on a Tuesday for Friday of that week. She told me she would follow up via email on Wednesday. No email came so I waited until Thursday. Still no email. I ended up calling to follow up to see if I was still going in on Friday. Surprise, surprise, something happened and they no longer needed me. Instead Amy suggested that I work another day. I said no thank you and no thank you to AppleOne period. They got "awards" in 2013 and 2015. It's 2019. Please do better. I should have seen the red flags when they asked for all my personal information and references. I don't doubt that they'll call your references to try and sell their services. I regret giving them my information but hopefully others can learn from my review. Do not go to this agency. I am incredibly satisfied with my experience using AppleOne. I recently moved across the country to Seattle and was struggling with the job hunt. A friend recommended I look into recruitment agencies, so I did. I started with a temp agency and was met with hostility, told they didn't have time for me, and that they could not offer me any positions -- all before ever having a conversation with me. I decided to look into AppleOne next and was lucky enough to meet with Denise. She met with me, got to know me, and I feel she took a personal interest in getting me employed, beyond what I expected. Within only a couple of days, she landed me an interview. The interview went great and I got the job! I'm currently doing a contract job through AppleOne, and I love it. They make everything so easy, which is very, very important for contract work. The employee web portal is a breeze to navigate, one thing I really like is that your W2s are easily accessible come tax season, which is fantastic! I've had other contract jobs that turn into a nightmare when the tax man comes calling, but with AppleOne all of the pertinent information is right where you'd expect it to be. The people at AppleOne (shout outs to my rep Rebecca) are so nice and accommodating, and they respond to questions and concerns with such immediacy and care--you really feel like you're in good hands! After several years of working in the nonprofit sector, I was laid off in January and wanted some help finding a new job, especially when it came to exploring my options outside the nonprofit sector. One of my friends had a positive experience with Apple One and eventually got hired through her placement, so I decided to give them a shot. This was the first staffing agency I ever contacted so wasn't sure what to expect. I created an account through their website, which included scheduling myself an appointment. The website said I'd get a confirmation call for the appointment, but I never did. I went anyway. When I went in for my appointment, the receptionist asked me who my appointment was with and I responded that I wasn't sure since I just scheduled it online. She went to check in with someone, and I overheard them say that they saw my name on the calendar and that they were going to check to see if someone was available. This made me a little uncomfortable--like I was just walking in rather than having an appointment. The receptionist told me that someone would be with me shortly, and had me fill out some paperwork. I met with a recruiter for a very laid back interview/conversation where she asked me about my previous jobs and my goals. Some of this was helpful because she highlighted potential job titles or industries that my experience might translate into that I hadn't thought about before. In fact, she made it sound like getting a job at Apple One would be a great fit for me. I was surprised, but intrigued, so we talked at length about this and she even gave me a job description. She also had who I think was her manager come in and talk with me about it to see if I'd be interested in learning more. The manager mostly described the job as being motivated by money. When she saw that my background was in the nonprofit sector, she said that social workers tend to have the mindset that they can help everyone which makes them unsuccessful at being recruiters. I was annoyed by the generalization. She said that they would send me more info, and that the next step would be to visit a few other offices to see if it's something I'd want to do. When the manager was done talking to me, I met with the recruiter again. She asked what I thought and I told her that I was told that money is the main motivator in doing that job. She said she disagreed--it's a perk but not why she does the job. Though I had some mixed feelings about some of the things the manager told me, overall I felt like this was a positive meeting and I was excited about what might come out of this. We wrapped things up and, later that day, she emailed me info to complete some online assessments, which I completed within a couple days. I heard nothing for weeks. One month after my interview, in mid-February, I got a voicemail about a position. I didn't call back because I was in the final rounds of interviewing for another job I really wanted and wouldn't have been able to interview (and, by then, I had met with another much more receptive staffing agency). I learned the next day that my friend who got her job through Apple One recommended me for the position they called me about because they had first called her about it--even though she's already employed and no longer looking. I think that's the only reason why they called me, and that's the last I ever heard from them. Maybe it just depends on who you meet with, your work experience, or what you're looking for, but for me this was mostly a waste of time. read more

WARNING, a horrible, incompetent recruiter; rude, demanding and does whatever the freak he wants. Submitted super long questionnaires on their site in late 2015, which I should've not. Got connected with a recruiter more than a half year later, which should've not happened, and was asked to come into his office for the day/time for a position. I couldn't make it due to a plan I already made; other time? He said, no worries, will check the schedule and get back to me next week. Never heard back for almost a year. Well, it was pretty casual until then. So then afterward, he called me out of nowhere. Talking about a pending position (not opened yet) and jobs those don't fit my background/experience/my interest, wanting me to drop by his office with 3 out of 4 availabilities those are ALL during the lunch time. NOT offering to meet in the middle, NOT asking for my availabilities. I asked him to meet at other time. I'm flexible but those times just won't work. I have a job, you're 30+ min away from me and I'm going to your office, you total jerking jerk douchebag. He said he'll get back next Monday to see if my availabilities would work and duh, no news for a week; the same week of Friday, I emailed him, again, which I should've not. He's like oops, I'm a super busy man and I'm pretty sure you were busy too -no apologies- but how about today since I have an opening in like a few hours. Okay, you're a bit nonsense but sure; I said I'll be there by 4. He's like 'no you can't, coz there'll be traffic.' Um, I said I'll be there by 4 because I know I can. I was fed up with his BS so asked him why don't we just plan for next week since we're in such a hurry. Or why don't we discuss the position over the phone briefly so we don't have to waste each other's time? We're all busy bees and a position might not even be a fit for me. He's basically trying to have me drop by his store to buy something that I've no idea of. Who does that? He's like, well, you're obviously not ready to meet me in person let me know when you're ready cuz I'm busy so I gotta go, don't waste my time. Excuse me? DID I CALL YOU FIRST???? SERIOUSLY, what a psychopath? Your attitude and the whole tone of voice? Who'd want to work with an A-hole like you? I spammed him. Avoid this agency, these bunch of blood sucking fleas. read more

I have to say, I have been around the block when it comes to staffing agencies - especially, being the only surviving "relative" of Dr. Frankenstein. I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly - even uglier than me (and my dog). However, the Downtown Seattle branch of Apple One Inc. is by-far the nicest experience I've had with their brand, and beyond that, on-par with some of the best staffing agencies I've worked with in my long and sordid history amongst the living. What has always set my better staffing-agency experiences apart, were the staff themselves who worked there. Other agencies might give you the feeling that you are just another number - another "ghoul in the night," if you will. Not here... I believe this comes down to Apple One's tailored approach to staffing. Each full-recruiter is responsible for running their own show, which includes client-outreach, weekly action-plans, fielding candidate-inquiries, responding to immediate client-needs, feeling candidates out for their ideal fit, and reaching-out to candidates to help them complete their paperwork. And I know there's loads of paperwork, because I've worked in recruiting before myself. Yet, on top of all that - they still have time to really get to know you! I was fortunate enough to be blessed with the aid and succor of one Denise A. Lagasse - the "A" stands for "Apple," as she's this dedicated to the company brand that she actually had her middle name legally changed to reflect it. I'm just kidding, but the rest of what I'm saying is absolutely true. Denise will NEVER LET-ON precisely how much is going on, and always makes you feel like you are the only candidate in the city - or the world, for that matter. She is dedicated, fun, a problem-solver, and a warm hearted person on top of all of it. She never gives-up, and will always have your back. If a client, for-instance, isn't abiding by the terms of your contract, she will do the right thing and bring it to the attention of corporate. I can tell that she really appreciates her work, because I know from personal experience that the accomplishment of getting candidates hired is what she lives and breathes for, while at work. (And even off of work, because let's be honest, recruiting's NEVER done.) Bob is also a great man - a fabled legend, in his field. Few come-about as flexible and resourceful as he, and if you are in need of something short-term/immediate, he is always hiring for events and other staffing opportunities. He even has a Twitter profile, because his style is that legitimately cool. Vivian - my dear Vivian. Can I count the ways? The ways that you have helped me... "Thank you for choosing the Apple One Experience, this is Vivian, how may I direct your call?" Often times, I just say "to you, Vivian! Because we never get to talk." Vivian has helped me with everything from employment-verification, to providing me with the "Royal Treatment," so to speak, when I went in for a visit. I was provided with Hot Coffee and Cold Water on what was LITERALLY a silver platter. I felt like leaving her a tip, but then I remembered I was in a Staffing office and not a Victorian Salon, so I reconsidered. My only tip for her, would be "keep it up, Vivian! You're showing everybody what to expect from the rest of their Apple One experience; and they didn't disappoint." I will advise that when you choose to use Apple One for all of your employment needs, that if you are a candidate, be sure to fill-out the paperwork online. So you see I am closing my gallery and dissolving my business. I am fried and just want to work for someone else. I do what most everyone does when looking for work...I hop onto Monster.com. Awesome there are a bunch of jobs that I am qualified, if not over qualified for....but they are listed with Appleone. I make an appointment with Appleone and the job hunting ball rolls forward. I arrive for my appointment ready to hear about all the fabulous opportunities they have for me. Instead I watch a video about the company, which then I am tested on.....I mean really, really? But I understand that this is a corporation and sometimes corporations do silly things. During my meeting with a career consultant, I am told that because I have been my own boss for over 5 years I am going to be a "tough sell" because employers don't want to hire people who have been their own boss. Hey that's looking at the glass half empty....Hmmm maybe there is a company out there who does want to hire someone who is self-motivated with a brain. Go figure. I left there feeling more discouraged than ever....which lasted about 4 blocks into my walk back to my gallery. I have been temping for years, hoping to find something permanent that pays something halfway decent. (I'd long given up on actually finding a "good" job and seriously at least needed some kind of income since my unemployment bennies had run out.) I've worked for Kelly Services, Terra Staffing, and also Almond & Associates, which all have their pluses and minuses. However, I lucked out and found the best recruiter EVER (named Denise L.) at Apple One in Seattle... and let me just say this: SHE. ROCKS. She rocks! First, she got me a temp job for a few weeks doing office work (I'm an admin) for a property management group in Bellevue. Pay was livable, but it was a short assignment. Then... Denise knowing I was looking for a permanent career-type job (I have a Bachelors degree in Journalism) found me something awesome at a major, well known (VERY well known) internet travel website company in Bellevue (you may have seen the black high-rise with their logo at the top) that paid even better than the last job, albeit it was only a year contract with an expiration date. BUT.... Denise... rocking it like she does.... and before I started the other really good job.... landed me an interview at a consulting firm (which means MONEY) for a job which was actually related to my college degree (editing) AND it was direct-hire. And... I got it! I had to turn down the other job which I thought was as good as it was gonna get. :) I never, ever expected something like this from a so-called temp agency. I'm now making double what I used to at previous jobs and I'm finally using my degree. (Not lying or exaggerating, I promise.) Not only do I LOVE the job, LOVE the company and the people that hired me, AND it's close to home.... but holy crap. I'm making way more money than I ever thought I actually would ever. I seriously plan to retire with this company and have never been happier. And just plain relieved! Denise is not only professional and damn good at her job, but she really cares about her clients and wants to find them the best job possible. I have worked for SERVERAL temp agencies over my life time, I've lived all over the US, and I will be turning 47 this year. So this is not a person with little job/temp experience giving this review. Temping gives you the opportunity to work for a bunch of companies without looking like a job hopper. All of my great jobs I started out as a temp. It has offered me the opportunity to check out the company culture and overall wellbeing of a company before becoming a permanent employee. Sometimes employers forget that you are checking them out as much as they are checking you out. I've reviewed the comments for AppleOne some folks are complaining about having to take tests, review safety orientation and doing an interview. Wow, really? One must realize the agencies need to prove your skills to the employer, hence the tests. Anyone can SAY they are a guru at EXCEL, but do you REALLY know where the pivot table button is on Office 2010 without a little looking around? The safety orientation and other parts of the video you watch is so when they have a job they would like to submit your resume. They do that so YOU don't need to come back into the office and finish the paperwork. You can go to the employer directly and QUICKLY once accepted. Everyone checks references. Temp agencies do so more thoroughly then most direct hire companies. If anything has a hint of being off please be sure you might go to the bottom of the pile or into the NO file immediately. As an Executive Administrative it had been years since I've done that kind of work but I was happy to have a job. A few months I left that job and there were no hard feelings. A little over a year later I was laid-off and I gave a call to my AppleOne folks, this time the Seattle office. Tanya was fab at the front desk, explained the need for the paperwork and why I needed to watch the video. Even after working for them just a year earlier I still needed to complete it, cool, you never know what can change in that short period of time (and things had changed - good to double check). I had my interview with Carolyn. It was warm, through and directly dealt with my hard and soft skills and how they would fit with the two job descriptions she was reviewing for her clients. Four days later I was working at a great software company in Fremont and I am about to be hired as a permanent employee. Carolyn has checked in on my progress at the company and made sure that I have been happy in my position. The team there is great. I even referred my sister to them when she moved here in March. The folks at AppleOne are good at matching their client's needs (the people that pay them money) with their employee's (us, the little ol' worker bees) skills. If you aren't getting calls it's because there are times they don't have any positions that match your skillset. I think back about what my mother tells me. "Your skills get you the interview, the interview is to evaluate how you fit into the established team. Sometimes it's not a good fit, don't take it personally." read more

For context, I partnered with a number of temp agencies when I moved to the Pacific Northwest (AppleOne, OfficeTeam, Almond & Associates, PrideStaff, Parker Staffing), and my AppleOne rep called the most often, found the most opportunities I was qualified for, and called BEFORE the other agencies when they were all filling the same roles. I didn't interview for any direct-hire roles, but I did interview for several contract positions and I worked a few one-day temp. assignments. The recruiter who worked extremely hard for me was Bob Morris. He is well know in the industry as a excellent recruiter and always went out of his way to find me jobs which might have led to a permanent position.I went on some amazing interviews that taught me a lot even if I didn't get the job. In the end, I did find my own amazing and wonderful permanent position, however all the of the experience I gained from the jobs he sent me on only made my background better and introduced me to new industries. Also, Tonya, who is the office coordinator and in reception is also truly professional. She always helped me as well. These are quality people, and much different than most recruiters. Don't be fooled by some of the reviews here. If you don't have what it takes, you aren't going to get the good positions because you don't have the qualifications and degree to get into the door. Ugh. Where does one start? So to start off with.. Apple One did snag me a job ( sort of). It was for some weird data entry, that was basically something a kindergartner could do. Still..I was looking for a paycheck. Covid kind of bit me in the butt. My recruiter was Nina ( Seattle, WA) She was attentive to emails, and did my zoom interview ( if you call it that). The onboarding process is very confusing. I had to email them after a week, to ask if I got the job. Instead of a phone call from Nina, I received an email offer letter from someone named Joshua. Nina my recruiter never called to explain things. The letter basically said " show up on this day for orientation". Still no email or call from my recruiter. Like...who's josh? Then I start getting emails from someone named Eunice about finishing some onboarding forms. Whos Eunice? ( no idea). I start work and three days in I receive my drug screen request ( no problem!), with an expiration date of three days. I email Apple One to let them know that my trainings are this week, and because I am new I would not like to miss anything. The assigned drug test center closes before my trainings are over. Josh responds..not my recruiter, Nina. He said, " this is your responsibility and you just need to do it. He said, "just ask your manager to leave". With no care in the world that Id be missing work days, and training for this new position. Needless to say I was pretty pissed about things. I even cc'd Nina my recruiter and the other random person named Eunice. Finally I emailed everyone to ask WHO ON EARTH AM I SUPPOSE TO CONTACT? My recruiter dropped me once she got me hired ( basically they got paid). I walked out of that job the next day. Terrible experience. Would not recommend. I'm a young professional with little experience and little idea of my long term goals. I met Bob at a job fair and went to Apple One looking for help in my search for a job that would get me experience (foot in the door type of thing). I told them I'd be available for long term positions or temporary work. Their online system for scheduling the initial interview is flawed so it's best if you call the office as well as schedule online. If not they will still have someone come talk to you when they're available. Everyone I have interacted with has been very nice and considerate of my needs. Their goal is to get the right employee matched with the right job because they don't make money if you don't make money and they don't get repeat clients if people are unhappy. I will start a good paying job that I am excited about on Tuesday, it's been about 2 weeks since my initial interview. They prepared me for the interview and advocated for me when talking to their clients. I've really enjoyed working with Bob, Denise and Vivian; they've taken good care of me and I trust they will continue to do so. read more

I love working with Bob. He is on the job like no other. I can call Bob and tell him I'm looking for an assignment, and usually within 48 hours Bob has me on an assignment. Not just any random assignment. I feel like Bob takes into consideration my time and the job title and the pay. The last 2 jobs Bob had for me, I was working front row of a concert. SUPER AWESOME! *I am very please with the pay that Appleone has offered in all my assignments, and the jobs he has placed me with I have been sad to leave the assignment, because I felt they were the best jobs ever. Also I have had both friends and family joint the team with me working for Appleone. I called Bob and they to were placed on assignment within a few days after testing and such. I called Apple One because I saw they had placed temporary workers at Pier 91 on Fridays. I called to ask if they can place any other days of the week at Pier 91. I told recruiter Nina Morgan I already work for the port on Fridays, but want more days work. She said they could place me there on Saturdays. I made an appointment with Nina. When I met Nina, she said they don't place workers at Pier 91 on Saturdays, only on Fridays. She apparently misled me, just to get me in their office, so they might find another job for me (and they get paid.) She did mention another job, which interested me. She said she would contact me soon to set up an appointment with the employer. She did call and leave a message for me. I made three attempts to reach her. On Thursday, they said she didn't work that day, and would get back to me. I asked to talk to another agent, without success. Nina finally called me again, and left a message. I called her back the same day, and caught up with her. She acted like it was my fault we hadn't connected again. She was rude, constantly interrupting me. Then she hung up on me. I have tried to talk to a supervisor in the Seattle office, without success. I also called the Bellevue office, and was told I needed to talk to Nina in Seattle. BEWARE, these people will waste your time, and will not tell you the truth. read more

I give this company 5stars, which are coming from my experience in the past. As of now, I give this company 2 star... I was put with a new job recruiter named Michele Minkle Barger. For me personally, this was detrimental for me because I needed to be placed at a job ASAP. She wasn't able to do that for me, because of her lack of listening skills and promptness. I had connected with this job recruiter back in December 1st 2021 and still I'm getting put on the back burner for her personal life, which I understand things come up outside of work. But it means nothing when you are leaning on a job recruiter to set you up with an opportunity for success, so you can reach your full potential. Michele's interpretation of what I needed from her, was not applicable... I told her I would like to stop working with her after she presented jobs to me that didn't match my criteria, on-top of being presented with these unobtainable positions 3-4 weeks later because of my vaccine status. After getting the 1st vaccine, I was scheduled for the booster shot on the 10th of Feb. I was under the impression Michele was able to push interviews and start dates, letting employers know the status of my vaccine shots and be able to start work after the 21 days. Still by this time she puts me on the back burner again because of my vaccine status. I told her I would not like to work with her anymore, and would like to work with a different recruiter within apple one. My time working with Michele felt like I was a number/paycheck to her, because she disregarded every concern regarding her work ethic towards me & still has not been able to place me at a job, any job at this point. I will not be working with apple one in the future. If there was a chance Appleone called me to try and fix this situation, I would request another job recruiter.... That goes by the name Rok Lindsey. He helped me more in 2 days of questions and advice on my resume, than Michele has in 3-4 weeks of no work or progress in my search... read more

This place doesn't do a very good job of coordinated communication. The person who was going to interview Brooklyn Borges. She told me to bring in two pieces of id, but they didn't tell me to bring in my my Social Security card. That was frustrating. They ask very typical run of the mill questions. They don't realize that lot of people can't find work due to the bad economy. If you have gotten laid off numerous times due to the bad economy, then they won't help you. Ms. Borges overreacted and snapped at me (and that was unprofessional) when I made an honest and unintentional mistake. What is ever worse is if you call them out their reception is unresponsive and does care, which we shouldn't be surprised if it's a lack of integrity. AVOID THIS AGENCY LIKE THE PLAGUE!. read more

I have been working with AppleOne staffing for about a month or so. My recruiter who is AMAZING is Jessica David. I applied online for more information and within 24 hours she gave me a call! She is professional and really works hard for you. She has you going on interviews and during the mean time while waiting for work, she has one or two day jobs during the week to get some cash flow. She makes sure the pay rate you want and location is factor when finding jobs. She exceeded my asking pay rate and placed me with a great job in the field that was most compatible with my previous work experience. We talk almost everyday, she keeps up with you to make sure your not forgotten, and updates you on jobs coming up. Her personality is bubbly, very friendly and she always goes the extra mile. I'd highly recommend Jessica as your recruiter if looking for employment at AppleOne, Seattle. read more

So I had left a very physical job due to health concerns and I was looking for an office-type job. My education lies in an entirely different field but I am very computer-savvy so my dad had suggested this route, as it pays well and is steady work. I had filled out the information online and got contacted by this office! My agent was Brooklyn and she was very friendly and excited to help me. She was really sympathetic and listened to my concerns as well as my scheduling needs. She had me interview for a really great insurance company for a coordinator position. She put in a good word for me and the company found I was not the best candidate for that position. However, a week later I had another interview with the same company but a slightly different position and got the job! It is a temp position but they have a strong history of hiring temps permanently so I am very excited to begin working there. Before I had received this job offer, Brooklyn was an excellent advocate for me and had also found good temp work in the meantime. She helped me find a job that pays better than I would have expected and at a company with a lot of happy employees. AppleOne was great when it came to communication and it took only a few weeks for me to find a good job with them. read more

I submitted my resume and filled out all the pre-interview questionnaires and never heard back. I called multiple times and was always told they would call me back. I never got a call. FINALLY they allowed me to set up an appointment on-line. When I went to meet with them, under the impression it was an interview, they handed me a stack of paperwork and showed me a 45 minute safety video. Once I finally met with my representative, I initially excited. She seemed impressed with my background and asked what I was looking for. She told me she had some positions she thought would be a great fit for me which were going to be opening up soon. She said she would send me some assessments regarding my computer experience and typing skills and should expect a call at least once a week with an update and check in regarding possible positions. I left really excited about the possible opportunities they had to offer. She sent the assessments but only after I reminded her. I emailed her right after I completed them to ask her about one of my tests. I never heard back. About a week after submitting all my assessments, she finally called me. She told me she had a position she wanted to submit me for and asked if it was OK. I told her of course! And how excited I was. She mentioned she was impressed with my scores and said I would be getting a call from her in a day or two with more details. I never heard back. I emailed her many times and never got a response. I called the office and could never get ahold of her. I left messages with reception (because for some unknown and absurd reason, this company doesn't have voicemail which you can be connected to which is INSANE considering you're supposed to be able to reach them any time) and she never got back to me. I regularly updated my availability and other information on-line. No change. Never heard a peep. I was so infuriated! Finally I got called by a recruiting company and placed in a position I love. Out of courtesy, I emailed my representative at AppleOne to let her know I was no longer available and of course I never heard back. Not that I expected to at this point but I figured just because they were unprofessional didn't mean I needed to be, too. I also updated my availability on-line to tell them I wasn't looking anymore and to take me off their list but I STILL get emails asking for me to update and I can't get them to stop. Long story short, the Seattle office is horrible when it comes to communication in my experience. I know plenty of people who have had great experiences with them in other states and at other offices but I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone. read more

One of the best experiences I've had with an employment agency! I have been job hunting on my own for about three weeks. Denise found me on a job searching sight and contacted me. I went in the next day and she went over my resume and helped me to spruce it up for jobs she thought I would be good for. Within a week I was employed! I'm new to the area, so she even recommended places to eat and live as well! That was just an added bonus! If you're hesitant about a staffing agency I highly recommend giving Apple One a try and taking the time to meet with them in person. read more

In early 2019 I got fired from a long time job and was looking hard for work. I was contacted by AppleOne to see if they could help. I was skeptical of using an employment agency but I figured I had nothing to lose. Did the only paperwork and met with someone at the office. At once they knew they had a place for me. They even fought for me when that place was 50/50 on taking me on. In the end I was hired on full-time at a job I love. They believed in me and made sure I couldn't do anything but succeed. read more

I've worked with a few different staffing agencies, and AppleOne is the not the best when it comes to communication. I originally reached out to AppleOne because Parker Staffing would send me temp. positions and it wasn't enough to pay the bills at the end of the month. Karen the Regional Manager contacted me after Bob forwarded my resume that I submitted for one of the open positions through CareerBuilder. I came in for a 2 hour meet where I was asked to watch a safety video, then after took a quiz on. Karen greeted me and we had begun talking about what I'm looking for in a career and what my past experiences entailed. She then told me that she had thought of several positions which would fit my background including a position with AppleOne as a recruiter. She said to think about the position and if it's something that I really want to do. And I left the meeting feeling really great that this staffing agency would work out better than the rest. I emailed Karen twice. The first time I asked to proceed with the recruiter position and then she replied that she is still in the process of my reference check and that she would be in contact with the next steps. The second time, I asked about my references but received an out of office reply. Well, it's been 3 weeks since I've heard back and I'm still currently working with Parker Staffing and also Seattle Corporate Search (who hires for only Full Time and not temp or contracted which is great in my mind and saves me a lot of headache). If you're considering AppleOne, I mean they're great people, they make you feel highly confident after leaving their offices but soon after you get let down because of the lack in communication. read more

This place is un-Freaking-believable! I applied to a position on their website and connected with the recruiter through LinkedIn. 23 minutes after she accepted my request, I get a call on my company phone asking to speak to the hiring manager (my manager) about partnering with our company for temp hires. Not knowing she was speaking to me.. she used my CONFIDENTIAL/PERSONAL information for her own networking and benefit. I also had 2 stand up calls from a different recruiter. I scheduled my whole day around it and he never once called nor apologized. So unacceptable! I will never work with this company or recommend them to anyone. read more

Great people they have working here, but you may just be forgotten. I've been contact by AppleOne for a handle of times for different job openings with their companies and I've had to come in to sit down and chat with Bob for a few different times to talk about a few jobs they had at the time. I was very thankful he had me interview with a company called QuoteWizard, which helped me with my interviewing skills and deciding on a career. I didn't get the position because another candidate was more qualified and had more experience. What made me give AppleOne a 2 star rating is that Bob, who is a wonderful coach and a very down to Earth kind of guy, had forgotten about me -- twice. First, he forgot to follow up with me about QuoteWizard, so I had to contact him to see about the outcome. Second, after another month or two had passed, I had contacted him about other opportunities in their job pool, and he said he would get back to me the next day. Still never got an email or call back, except for that weekly newsletter email that eventually turned out to be monthly. Now I don't get any emails at all from them and this is 4 months later. Lots of wasted enthusiasm considering they have done next to nothing in terms of results. You have to ride these people 100% of the way to finding a job, and if you don't remind them daily that you are looking for work, you are invisible. Super nice people over here, but I'd trade nice for effective any day. read more
