Initially, I went through a couple hiring agencies and landed two jobs that I would have taken as an absolute, last resort, but thankfully Patrick from West Coast Careers called me after I sent in my resume. He was so incredibly helpful and professional. To get straight to the point, getting in contact with West Coast was the best thing that could have happened to me in my job hunt. Following my initial contact with Patrick, I went in there for a brief interview and he immediately set me up with 3 interviews for the following week. All of the jobs were salaried and with exceptional companies, and he really took into account my skill set to determine which companies I would fit best with. Every day Patrick checked in with me, gave me tips on how to interview, as well as giving me the idea of putting together a binder which, in addition to my resume, included all of my past achievements and awards in my professional career. I felt like he really aided me in setting myself apart from potential competition. Ultimately, he gave me added confidence in knowing I was thoroughly prepared and completely capable of landing a good job. Sure enough, I landed one of the positions and was seriously contemplating accepting it. While Patrick was extremely happy for me, he stressed evaluating whether this was truly the job I wanted or not. He was really looking out for me and wanted to place me with the most fitting company. To conclude, I ended up taking a different position with a company Patrick set me up with. A month into my job, I am so excited and happy to be where I am at, and so incredibly thankful for Patrick at West Coast Careers. Without him, I may still be searching aimlessly throughout the tons of job sites out there. So, if you are looking for a career or job, I would highly suggest utilizing West Coast Careers. Keep your fingers crossed you get to work with Patrick, but I am sure everyone there will be helpful to you in your job hunt! Good luck!!!

First, I used ESP as a job seeker. I needed to find a new job because the environment at my…read morethen-current firm had grown too toxic for me to tolerate, and the first Craigslist ad I answered had been posted by ESP on behalf of one of their clients. They got my resume and immediately called me for an interview. They set it up quickly, and had me work with Greg himself. In the interview, Greg listened to me, and in listening to him I came to realize that he has excellent contacts in the local legal community, and is very aware of the cultures at so many firms in town - including the one where I was working at the time. My job hunt was complicated by the fact that my reasons for leaving were a negative reflection on my then-employer - making the answer to "So why are you leaving your current job?" a challenge. Greg was sensitive to that complication and was able to put me in touch with potential employers who understood where I was coming from. I generally like to give four stars because I consider five stars to denote near-perfection, with four stars meaning exceptional and three stars meaning good, but I'm giving five stars because Greg and ESP were phenomenal. They made my job hunt far easier and helped me get a new job far better than I had ever imagined. I pretty much did nothing except meet with Greg and go to the interviews he found for me. Easiest job hunt in my life. The other reviewers are spot on. I was able to trust Greg's integrity, intelligence and knowledge. I liked that he didn't promise to deliver anything that he couldn't reasonably deliver. I liked that he really listened to me and had a better grasp of what I was looking for and what my market value was than I did. If you are looking for a job in the Seattle legal field there is absolutely no reason not to call ESP, and every reason to do so. They literally take all the tedium, frustration and battering to your self-worth out of the job hunting process. They made it FUN. I never in my life thought I would describe a job hunt as fun, but this one was. I'm stunned by how great the service of ESP was, and that is why I am giving five stars.

Working with The Robert Half Creative Group gave me the opportunity to land my DREAM JOB at…read moreStarbucks Coffee Company. As I read through some of the other reviews, most were positive but some expressed sour grapes. I think there are some misaligned expectations as to what a staffing agency is. A staffing agency makes their money by supplying companies with workers either on a temporary are permanent basis. Unless you are paying a staffing agency a fee to find you employment, then the staffing agency's fiduciary responsibility is to the company that is paying them. You need to understand and accept this if you are going to work with a staffing agency. Here's how you benefit from the relationship... Staffing agencies can give you the opportunity/connection to network, learn, and build your resume with world-class business organizations that are extremely challenging to get your foot in the door. Once in though, it's up to YOU to prove yourself and work toward finding your dream job. You can't walk in and expect your dream job to be handed to you. Competition for good jobs in good markets is tough. You have to come at it by assessing the situation for fit, figuring out where YOU can add value in ways that align with your career objectives, get along with ALL the players (putting your ego in check), make a plan, STAY POSITIVE, and execute on it. Oh and by the way, all that work might NOT lead to a permanent job. Don't expect that, if you do you will fail at staying positive. However, know that all the work you are doing is being added to your resume. The way you are handling the situation is being noted by all those you are working with. They will remember you, refer you, and be a reference for you. If played right, over time you will land your dream job. TCG's role was they gave me the connection to make it happen, and supported me with training and advice on handling situations as they arose. That's it, that's all any staffing agency can realistically do for you. Here at the end of my experience with TCG, I can say they've actually EXCEEDED my expectations for a staffing agency. TCG offered me much more career building benefits than other staffing agencies. Benefits such as continued industry training, portfolio showings, attendance to top business industry conferences, team building and network events. This is the stuff that helps you develop your career path. Lastly, they've made my transition to full employment with Starbucks very, very easy. If you are looking to get networking opportunities or work experience added to your resume from renowned organizations and companies, TCG has the connections to make it happen.

The actual people I have had the pleasure to engage with have always been lovely. But, my observation of their business model is that they are income-focused-first and relationship-focused somewhere much further down the line. Being more net-income-centric than human-centric resonates as more similar to "following" than "leading" in business, most certainly in the marketing world they represent, where consumers are critical and have endless options. Mine is, of course, just an anecdote, one experience. I have received dozens of invitations to apply for roles and I have responded to a select few, only those where the fit between my skillset and the work required was genuinely aligned. And, I've never received a response of any kind. There's a very modest time investment they make upfront, evaluating prospective employees', like myself, experience and expertise at the start of the relationship, then the 1:1 communication seems to end there. It's been disappointing. If I were ever asked "How can we improve?" I would offer that the opportunity for Creative Circle here, as I see it, is to reflect on your values as a company, take a look at the shifting marketplace, and create an authentically human-focused engagement environment where there's trust fostered, earned and realized between the employer, the prospective employee and the Creative Circle brand --- and the real-life humans behind that brand. I realize that's potentially a daunting task, perhaps one that eats into net income... but someone's out there trying to figure it out. Why not you? With all due respect, this has just been my experience. Perhaps others have enjoyed something more meaningful and valuable in their collab with Creative Circle. The other reviews here would suggest so, but I suspect there's a lot more folks out there who feel similarly but have too much else to worry about right now than a yelp review.

I first applied with them in 2006 or 2007--and when I reapplied in 2017, I was surprised that they not only remembered me, but still had my old information from that long ago! They will listen to you when you tell them what you're looking for; will respect your preferences, including any deal-breakers or strong dislikes you may have; will follow through on interviews and checking back with you on roles that could be a good fit; and will take no for an answer if, for whatever reason, you can't take an assignment. They are also very quick to set up direct deposit, and responsive to any questions or concerns you may have while on an assignment. There have been a couple of times where I did have a question or concern--and Carrie or Emma responded either the same day or the next day. They really care about putting the right person into the right job. I got a call about a potential temp-to-hire opportunity and asked some questions about a couple of deal-breakers I had. It turned out that that particular job wasn't a fit (because of said deal-breakers), but Carrie was glad I'd asked the questions and totally cool with my having to pass on the opportunity. Carrie also completely understood when I turned down an interview for another assignment because the one I'd just accepted with another agency had higher hourly pay and a walking-distance commute--and agreed to check back with me in a month or two to see whether I was available again. She did--and I've been really happy with the quality of the assignments I've had through Molly Brown: the pay, the commute, the work environments and people I've worked with. I'd love to work with Carrie and Emma again--and if I could, I'd give Molly Brown a lot more than five stars!

Turned out after making the drive from Everett into Ballard I wasn't as thrilled with the position and I just couldn't see myself doing that every day. Not their fault, I had told Justin that I was willing to work in that area, and I would be for the perfect position but this just wasn't it. I let Justin know that I was not interested in that position but he didn't stop working for me. I took it as a learning experience and I kept looking.
