Highly recommend for career changers!…read more I struggle to find the right path in my career. Is this right? It's a job, so it must be. But can you truly enjoy working in X field as an X every single day. I didn't think this was possible. I started with Eden Sulzer, unhappy with the work I was in which was exacerbated by COVID. Fast forward to this week I have a job offer and am a final candidate for 2 other companies. Through the work I was able to identify and align positions that enhance my natural skillsets and meet my needs as to where I want to be at this time in my career. It's been a roller coaster but I do not believe I would be in this position had it not be for the career counseling work, resume revamp, elevator pit coaching and interview techniques I received from Crosworks. I was able to work my network for job leads, better navigate LinkedIn, and laser focus my resume to the right HR folks and I have seen SUCH great results. Re COVID - All our work was done via phone or Zoom which was super convenient, office visits were offered on specific dates (mentioned specific protocols in place)

This knowledge also prepared me to ask the right questions at interviews so I could really feel confident that I was making a good career choice. The result was a change in job with a 30% pay increase and nearly complete job happiness. I am so glad I worked with Crosworks. I would not have had the tools to make better career decisions without their expertise and encouragement.

I found out that Laura and Seth would talk about my personal struggles with mental health and even things about my now husband without my consent. I asked Laura why she did that and she said because I had signed a consent form. When I asked for the form, she replied saying that she didn't have a copy and likely forgot to have me sign one, but it was implied with the type of work she does. Higher-ups at Cornerstone were not helpful and did not want to continue an "investigation" on these individuals unless I signed a lengthy consent form and even then they were not apologetic. I am very unhappy with my experience and I would never recumbent this place.

I felt at that time during a low job market that I was very lucky and the resume helped a lot! Most recently I needed a new job and I had not had much luck with my own resume. I contacted Samantha who was the original owner of Ladybug designs, the previous name of the company. This one knocked it out of the park! I was blown away by the details, and overall look and design. I was surprised when a company that I had applied to numerous times contacted me two times for interviews! I end with getting the position I truly wanted and a believe it or not $20,000 raise on top! It is worth the money to put yourself in their hands. I got my dream job with their resume not once but twice!

They don't just pair up people, but offer a range of services related to coaching, wardrobe enhancement, professional photography (for setting up matchmaking profiles), and they even regularly sponsoring events for singles that don't necessarily want to pay for full matchmaking services. I recommend Dating Directions to all my single friends, because I know they will get treated well and be paired up with people who share their values and interests. While the price is up there, it will save singles the hassle of "dating around" only to end up with jerks and losers. However, matchmakers aren't "magic" and can't magically create a pool of eligible men and women who meet every standard (especially crazy ones) of every person, but nonetheless, Elizabeth and Susie (and their great staff) do a great job to find a match for everybody. Quite a few marriages and other long term arrangements have resulted from their services.
