    I usually make it a policy not to go into stores named after famous serial killers. For Zodiac in…read morethe new Creekside development in Gahanna, I made an exception. This place offers pretty much everything you could think of when you think of the word "zodiac." We're talking books on astrology, crystals, sign and birthstone jewelry, and star charts. They even do astrological readings for customers. That's all on the right-hand side of the store. Then you look to the left...and see slightly creepy oil portraits of children. How does this fit in to the store's mission?! I'm not sure. I'm not sure I want to know. But if you want a mediocre yet creepy portrait of your kid, family or dog, Zodiac can do it for you. Have fun! Postscript: I did notice that the employees were very attentive to customers, walking them through purchases and explaining astrology to them. That's cool.

    If you are into reading zodiacs and tarot cards, this may be a cool place for you. They had books,…read moregames, t-shirts, jewelry and other things that may be of interest. According to the sign with hours listed, it was open and the door was unlocked, so I went in. Yet no one was in the front room and when I called out, no one answered. Nor were the lights on. I was confused as to what was going on. I figured someone must be there, or it would be silly to keep your store unlocked. They must have really trusted that no one would come in and steal anything while they weren't looking. Or didn't care. As for this experience, it was rather weird. Maybe when I know someone's there it may be different.
