Bad service, they tried to charge us for two skillets when we only got one, mold on ceiling, spinach dip was awful and we had to ask them for it again after finishing our meal, other lady dumped our whole table's food so we had to wait even longer, table was sticky-- our evening kept getting worse constantly and nothing was done or offered to make it better. Went on a Saturday evening. Not packed at all... maybe 4 tables with a few people at the bar. The waitress appeared to be talking on her phone through earbuds when she came to the table. Holiday drink was ordered and looked nothing like the advertised drink. I ordered chicken Alfredo with broccoli. The presentation of the food was horrible. There was sauce all over the rim of the bowl the food was served in. See attached picture. It appeared to be more of a soup than pasta dish due to the excess sauce they had in the dish which was not requested. The breadstick was hard and was not eaten. The taste wasn't bad but you eat with your eyes first and it really disappointed me to have the dish come out to me looking like that. read more

lol, all these bad reviews are pretty funny. I view Applebee's as like we all know you just come here for a quick drink and some food you didn't feel like cooking yourself. They're not horrible just good enough to come. Anyway.. I usually get the quesadilla burger (it's always good) and a drink. I like to sit at the bar for quicker service. Bad service long wait for food gets food wrong and the waiter of 2 are petty and messy

I got carside to go. I ordered online, not the easiest process but I made it through okay. Carsied to go was ready right on time and the girl taking care of my order was fast and professional. I got the triple app with Siracha Shrimp, Double Crunch Bone-in wings and honey bbq crosscut ribs to start. I loved the Siracha Shrimp. Other than the wonton strips being over done, the shrimp was crispy and had just enough spicy to kick my tough in the behind. There was nothing "Double Crunch" about my bone-in wings. The Thai sauce was a good flavor with real peanut sprinkled on it, but not crunch at all. they did taste good though, I just want more crunch. The crosscut ribs were awful. They were over-sauced and I don't like all the bits of bone. It's not my cut of meat, but seriously it was swimming in the BBQ sauce. I couldn't finish them. For my entree I got the Bourbon steak. I asked to have it cooked medium rare. It was cooked perfectly however I'm not a fan of the Bourbon steak flavors. So the steak was just ok. The potatoes with my steak were not seasoned at all. And onions do not count as a side, I deserved another side for a $15 entree. Over all I was disappointed. read more

Service: overall bad 1) 1st beer tasted like it was a vinegar cocktail. Asked for a trade to another beer and proceeded to wait about 20 minutes for it. Wasn't a busy night, no need to wait that long. 2) waitress seemed more interested in tending to her other tables than ours. Frequently, she would bypass our table (the twenty minutes while the 2nd beer sat on the bar) in order to wait on the other two tables in her section. 3) Food....meh. I get it, you don't necessarily go to Applebee's for stellar food....but you definitely don't go for vinegar beer. 4) shouting from the kitchen was a constant distraction. Do NOT go to the ridgeland location.. i ordered mine for curbside service. After sitting in my car for ten minutes i called the store gave them my name etc .a server came out and said there was not an order in my name but she would go check again. Sitting in the car watching two other people get their orders I finally called the corporate office and the one that answered was rude also.. Finally told them to forget it and relayed that i had seen online that this particular restaurant was for sale......duhhh with this type of business. also told corporate that was probably why there were only 4 cars in the parking lot.. I hate reviewing restaurants after bad experience but I think this is important to write. Please, and I say this with a heavy heart, do not go here. After ordering a table full of food, we order a few drinks. We got our drinks and ONE friend complained that a drink was watered down. I tasted the drink and it in fact was watered and something tasted off. I took the drink to the bartender and he told me I'd have to talk to the manager. Once the manager came, I calmly explained that the drink was watered down and tasted funny. He say he would remake it but insisted that we pay for that drink and the new one. He refused to taste the drink, look at the liquor they were providing, replace the drink, accommodate us for their mistake, or even consider our problems. When we refused to pay for the drink that tasted funny, he said he'd call the cops on us. I just left and paid for the drinks. It was a gross abuse of power. read more

The food was basically what we expected hers did not have everything it was supposed to have on it . missing a few ingredients. The service was great the service time was better than expected and you were able to pay at the table without having to wait for a check which I thought was pretty cool I've never seen that before and actually I left my cell phone on the table. We were seated by the host, Chris. 20 minutes later we were finally greeted by the server, Tatiana, after overhearing the bartender refuse to serve our table because she was too busy. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees at the same time. We initially ordered potstickers but were told the restaurant was out. We ordered Siracho Shrimp instead. We waited 30 minutes for our food before asking for the manager. The manager brought our food out that had been sitting in the window for 20 minutes. The food was dry and tasteless. I don't normally come to this Applebee's but it was closer. The food was okay normal Applebee's food. My waiter wasn't very attentive or have much life in him for that matter. But what got me was how they handled an issue with my food. I ordered a 6 Oz top sirloin medium well with the mashed sweet potatoes and broccoli. As I cut into the steak I notice it's medium instead of medium well. No biggie. I tell my waiter and he takes my whole plate back to the kitchen. Okay they'll give me a new plate. WRONG! The waiter comes back and tells me they put my steak back on the grill. I'm thinking maybe he said it wrong. He brings back my food on a new plate. My partially eaten steak cooked more and my sides reheated. I'm sure that is unsanitary and a violation of something. I will not be returning anytime soon! read more

I've been to many other Applebee's restaurants in this and other states, but I've never had service like this. I waited 10 minutes before being seated (there was no line) 30 minutes for me to get something to drink and another 30 minutes to get the food that had been sitting in the window for 20 minutes. We only received our food after speaking to the manager who offered only a discount rather than a comp. Not only was the server not concerned with how I received my food, she never returned during the entire experience. Frustrated, we asked to speak with the manager again who was so tied up with another disaster that he didn't come back to the table.
