Applebee's service absolutely sucks. The waiter/customer ratio is about 2/1 and service is still horrible. Have been sitting for about 20 mins and they just asked what drink i wanted. When it came to ordering, for some reason our waitress decided to skip us and went to the next 2 tables. Had such a great experience! Came for dinner with my dad and we couldn't have left more pleased. Our waitress was named Charlie and she was extremely friendly, constantly checked to ensure that we had everything that we needed. The food came out fairly fast and was piping hot. Only down fall was that they were all out of the monthly special. Was kinda disappointed because it's the beginning of the month and you wouldn't expect them to run out of so thing that they just released. I've been here numerous times. Let's be clear, let me start this review by saying that there is little to nothing in Radcliff KY. This is pretty much the only sit down restaurant that I have found. Of course they have fast food places, but as far as a dining, this is it! I have been here multiple times and based on the demographic, this gets 5 stars. Its an Applebee's man, but it has a bar and a full menu, and you don't get that anywhere else in the city. So come here, relax and enjoy the TV's cause this is as 5 star as your gonna get in Radcliff. read more

Worst experience... took an hour an twenty minutes to get my sons fries, a little longer to get one meal for an adult, third meal had to be made by the manager. I went to Applebee's in KY tonight right outside of Ft Knox.... It sucked. There was BBQ sauce smeared on the pretzel sticks that I ordered for an appetizer. (they're not supposed to have BBQ sauce on them) I ordered the hot shot whiskey chicken, again there was some weird pink sauce smeared on the side of my plate that didn't belong there. The mushrooms were disgusting and looked like they were straight out of a can. The mashed potatoes were terrible. All of it just thrown on there real sloppy. Horrible service but not the server's fault. Very poorly managed. Our server had to cover way too many tables. Poorly managed kitchen. It took 50 minutes to get our food. At least 4 tables that arrived and ordered after us received their food before we did. We had a horrible experience here. Honestly not even bothered talking to a manager. Service was poor. Food was bad. Everything about this restaurant was bad. They only had about 10 people around 2:30pm and it took them about 7 minutes for a hostess to greet us at the door. When we ordered our food we honestly don't even know who was our waitress! OMG miserable. Go in and the blinds had been ripped down so you get to stare into sunlight. Apathetic staff that were genuinely offended that we bothered to enter their restaurant. Look I know it's Applebee's but still, when I order a steak, I don't expect it to come out with fat and gristle all around it. It's too easy to see that And cut it off before you cook it. Mashed potatoes came out regular instead of the way I cooked them topped off. Didn't charge me but still if you don't write down the customers order then how do you expect to get it right. Went on a Saturday with my two daughters while out shopping. First were seated in a booth with the sun shining like crazy. Asked to be moved and got to sit on a booth with a broken seat. Blinds didn't work and seat broken, may need some updating. My youngest only wanted sides which they did provide but not at a discount. My oldest and I split a 2 for $20. The boneless wings were the highlight of the meal. I got the oriental chicken salad with grilled chicken. I was extremely disappointed. There was absolutely no flavor. I had to ask for extra dressing just for something to taste. I appreciate that they cleaned the greens but the salad was very watery. I used to order this salad regularly and could barely eat half. This time it was very skimpy. Barely any crunchy noodles or almonds. It was mostly watery lettuce and bland chicken. I was paying with cash and waited a very long time for change. The wife and I went to The Applebee's off Ray Rd in Gilbert. So very disappointed. I ordered the 6 oz steak with the Mac and cheese. First I received a glass of water that still had some type of flavor on the rim from a mixed drink so it wasn't clean. Ordered the steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes and vegetables. This location is responsible for the worst dining experience of my life. I went here a few months ago only because my boyfriend's mom gave us a giftcard. They had some really cheap drinks that were better than expected. We ordered and appetizer combo and weren't really happy with the quesadilla, they put all sorts of onions, tomatoes etc inside so it was kind of damp and unappetizing. I got a spinach and artichoke pasta that was pretty good. My boyfriend wanted a steak but they were sold out so he got something that had steak medallions. The first thing he noticed about his dinner was that there was a white hair on top of the piece of steak. We thought maybe it had fallen off his clothes because our dog has similar hair so we shook it off. He got to the second piece of steak and turned it over to find another hair exactly like the first cooked into the fat. This time there was no doubt that this was somebody else's hair. As soon as we saw this a man walked by who looked like he was in charge so we waved him over and asked if he was a manger. He said yes so we showed him the hair. He took the plate and said he would "take care of it" and hurried off. We weren't sure what that meant so we waited til we saw our waitress again. After the food arrived her visits to out table were few and far between. When she came back and inquired how everything was we explained what happened and asked her to send the manager back, we just wanted them to not charge us for the steak and give our bill so we could leave since we both lost our appetites after seeing the hair not sure what else was going on in the back. This time someone different came to our table who claimed to be the manager. She couldn't seem to answer us about who the other guy was but we tried to ask her if we could have our bill and go but she kept trying to shush us when we explained about the hair and then told us they were making a new plate. We told her we didn't want anything else and would prefer to leave. Our waitress had to come back multiple times with the bill fixing mistakes and taking her sweet time. We finally got the correct bill and handed her our giftcard and some cash to cover the rest. We waited at least 15 minutes for her to return with our change, around $30. Eventually she walked by our table and half heartedly said bye without making eye contact so we called out that we were still waiting for our change. There's no way she could expect a $30 tip on a less than $50 bill before taking off the steak. But no, she didn't even bother to bring the change back til we said something and then she actually threw the money down on the table and stomped off. I have never been so disgusted and treated so poorly as a paying customer. I will never again return to this location. read more
