I've been to Applebees multiple times and they never disappoint me. Came around 5:30 my waitress Audrey was so sweet, answered all questions and our food was quick! I had the chicken wonton tacos if you haven't had them get them! I had the Bourbon street mushroom Swiss burger with fries , fries were crispy and the burger was so good. They had the $1 zombie drinks which was good believe it came with Rum in a very decent cup. Fast service good drinks and food will be back. read more

Went at 9:30pm tonight. As expected the place was pretty vacant maybe about 6 other customers. My party of 3 sat at the bar. Apparently someone from my group is a regular and has made a friend at the bar! Our waitress was lovely. It took a little long for our food. Sampler appetizer, onion rings, and blackened salmon. The salmon was good, I'm not a salmon eater, I like my fish fried hard with white bread and tarter sauce (Ima country girl lol) the sampler was okay. The honey pepper wings were amazing, the mozzarella sticks were alright. The quesadilla was cool. The spinach dip and salsa was pretty bland. Not bad for a quick late business dinner. read more

Let's start with the "sticky " table, that lets me know that it was half cleaned. We ordered appetizers and before they were delivered the server was ready to take our order. The Queso was good temp on 1, the other was cold. We asked the Hostess to take it back-she declined and said she had to get a server(she was not alone and definitely not busy) the entree's we just ok. The Chicken Alfredo was dry and no additional Parmesan was offered. The tacos had no cilantro visible and the Waiter said it was "real little " The service was disappointing but I can tell that they've NEVER been trained. Plates were served over our heads and over others plates and the cleanliness was questionable. Several of us were at one time Servers and I am still in Hotel food and beverage. Lets start with my wife and myself ordered the same dish. Parm serlion . My wife asked for median rare and I well done. About 30 minutes pass and they bring diner. Hers was a perfect thick juicy , Mine was about 1/8 thick and looked like it had been run over in the parking lot, dry and tough. When I asked I was told a flat out lie. We slice them thin for well done. BULL SH%T, That was a skirt steak . Never trust them with your CC. They has a extra charge holding on our account for days . Now that it has dropped off we can NEVER go here EVER again. Better local mom and pop places to eat. As to the company that owns them DINE Brands had better start thinking before you block cut off and hide from customers your company has done this to. I would first like to thank Applebees for providing a free meal to our veterans on Veteran's Day. Salute! This is one of those "I hope it's as good as it always is on Veterans Day" visits. Well to give you the short of it, It was not. I got the same meal I always get on Veterans Day and it just wasn't as good. First and most importantly to me the waitress was not good. I saw her when I sat down and when she brought me my check. The restaurant was not busy. I think she just wasn't interested in serving me. I saw the host that sat me down more than I saw the waitress. So I gave the host half of the waitresses tip and told him why. That's enough of that. Let's talk about the food. I got the simple dinner. 8oz steak, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The steak was overcooked (not that anyone asked me) but tasted good. The potatoes and broccoli were spot on. I wasn't asked if I wanted a refill until I got my check. I really wish I could've given a better review. But they just didn't even try tonight. They really do a great job every year for our veterans. So I'm going to give them an overall grade of a "C" tonight. I will be back for another try because I know they have it in them. They prove it to me when I see them on Veteran's Day every year. read more

Visited this Chili's in Midwest City Oklahoma. Food was okay but the service sucks. As we were eating our meal a roach crawled out the back of the booth. We brought it to staff's attention and was met with laughter, smirks, "I'll pray for y'all" by staff members. Got Paul the manager attention he grabs a paper towel in an attempt to catch the roach and he stated " It must've came through the door". As other staff stood around and continued to smirk. We met friends here for a long deserved outing. It wasn't an abnormally busy evening in this restaurant. Staff was very friendly. Service started out excellent, then sort of waned as time went on. The food was good, and prepared to order. This location wasnt as welcoming as other locations I have been too. It seemed almost depressed. We haven't eaten here in a very long time and my mother had a gift card so we decided to do lunch at Applebee's. We did not have to wear a mask but the employees were wearing masks and every other table was closed due to social distancing. We went inside to place our to-go order. We were told to go to the bar area to order. The lady at the bar was taking orders, waiting on tables, doing drinks, taking food outside to pick-up customers while some other employees never moved the whole time we were there. Seriously she was all over running that place while a handful of employees were just chilling out! Lol! She was awesome! So after a little wait we received our food and drinks to-go. Arrived at my mom's and the homestyle chicken bowls were delicious. Me and my mom had leftovers for the next day. There was lots of delicious breaded chicken, mashed potatoes, cheese, green beans and gravy! So good! My hubby and son both ordered cheese burgers and fries. And we ordered pretzel sticks and cheese to share. I think the limited time chicken bowls are a great value at 7.99 each. We will definitely be back soon. Great variety of foods so when my husband and I can't agree on one thing, it's a go-to that's better now than our old go-to's similar to here. Food is usually good, staff at this location is what makes it great. We generally do sit at the bar so can't say on the tables but they all seem to work together well and help each other out so I feel safe to say it would probably be the same. We did try a burger after many trips and were surprised at how good their burgers are. It's a great go-to so it's our new one. read more

I got off work 2 hours early tonight. I decided to go get a nice dinner before going home. I do not get to go very often i went online to see the closing times AND MADE THE MISTAKE OF CHOOSING APPLEBEES. There was one group waiting and after a few moments they were taken to a table. Then he comes back and tells me i would have to wait 30 minutes to be seated. There were empty tables on both sides and the bar was nearly empty but i was not going to be seated fir 30 minutes. I left angry. What was wrong with me. He didn't like my tshirt with kittens on it, my hair, my weight, my age which is 64, my hat??? I will NEVER go back. Firstly, the service was slow. We waited to be served for 10 minutes and it took longer to get our plate of chips because they gave ours to another table first. My wife ordered the quesadilla appetizer and I ordered the classic chicken parm, both pretty safe choices. Her quesadilla had no flavor to it and looked as though it had been sitting out for a few minutes before being served to us. My parm was no better, and after a few bites I had eaten enough. My boyfriend and I went to eat in last week and instantly when we stepped out of our truck the parking lot smelt like dead animal or sewage. Definitely should of been the sign to leave. It was freezing inside the restaurant. The gentleman that sat us never ever said hey or follow me just grabbed some menus and motioned us to follow along. The waitress appeared friendly at first. The menu was well organized but there was not a whole lot in it, and it didn't really explain sides and such. I ordered fish and chips my son ordered broccoli chicken Alfredo and my husband had the cheeseburger with egg hasbrowns and bacon. And we got 2 appetizers. The appetizers that were served were good but the mozzarella sticks where not the right temp tire the cheese was not even actually melted. We got our food and the appearance was good: however my husbands burger had no bacon it he asked the waitress about it and she told him let her check she came back and said it was seared to the bottom, he said okay then we looked and there was no visible bacon. He waited forever for her to come back around and he asked her for some bacon for his burger since there was none and real cocky she said "sure I'll get you some MORE bacon" . . She also had asked him when he ordered "do you want pink inside or no pink" he said NO PINK. And there was pink. My mean the fish and chips was good. The fish was a little thick for my liking but that just personal other then that it was good. My son is like a human vacuum he will literally eat ANYTHING! This Applebee's in Midwest City is okay. I have been going here for years without having any problems until on Sunday Jan. 29th, 2017. When we first walked in, I notice that it was very busy, which is okay, I understand that they may be a little slow. But it took almost 10 minutes for someone to notice my party of two and the six others behind me.. After we got settled into our table, I promise it took another 10 minutes to order our drinks.. I would have been okay with this because again they were busy but the people across from us (who arrived after us) already placed their drink order and received them shortly after. I wish I could say everything went smoothly after that situation but it did not. My boyfriend and I ordered the two for $25.00 deal which included one appetizer and two entrees. Well, we received our entrees before our appetizer, which was annoying. When I was ready to received the bill, my waitress was way too busy hanging out with her friend/co-worker, who was eating lunch. Instead of waiting for her to come by, I just decided to pay my bill on the computer pad and just leave my leftovers (wished I had a to go box). The wife and I stopped in for lunch today. We were greeted at the door by a friendly smiling face and the waiter was attentive and didn't hover despite the place being empty. The food arrived hot and fresh. I had the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp which arrived sizzling on a cast iron plate. The wife had the Shrimp Parmesan Sirloin and says the steak was cooked perfectly. Went to Applebee's for my sons sixth birthday. We were there on a Saturday about 7 and it was surprisingly not that busy. Still it took them a long time to seat us, despite being able to see plenty of empty tables around. When they did take us to a table, it was still dirty and we had to wait for them to clean it off. When the waiter came we told him about my sons birthday, he took our drink orders and asked us about an appetizer. Before we could make a decision he just disappeared. He came back after about five minutes with our drinks, and told us they didn't have the chocolate milk my son had ordered and walked off before asking about our appetizer and without leaving straws. After another five minutes he returned to take our orders, and I had to ask for straws. To my surprise, he didn't have any on him, and neither did the drink station. He disappeared again on a hunt for straws. After taking our orders, it took an extra long time for our food to arrive. When he brought us our appetizers the chips looked like they were just the crumbs, there were hardly any chips that could be dipped. When he brought our food, he brought my ribs and my daughters macaroni, but not the rest of our food. It took almost another ten minutes for him to bring out my wife's bourbon chicken and my sons macaroni. His macaroni was boiling hot and actually had smoke coming from it and the chicken was still cooking, looked like it was just a plain piece of chicken breast and was too hot to eat. When she was able to bite in to the chicken it was bland and bourbonless. The ribs tasted fine and my daughter enjoyed her food. Again it took forever for the check to come and we never saw anyone come to sing to my son or even give him the cake the waiter said they gave for birthdays.
