Visited for a fundraiser for the first time in ages. The restaurant wasn't very busy as we were there before traditional dinner time (about 4pm). We were seated right away. The music was a bit loud, but only so much that it made your conversations feel more private, which was nice. Service was wonderful and attentive. The server was friendly, on top of the 9 million apps and beverages we ordered due to having a large party, and very nice. A manager even stopped by to help with the yelp check in coupon and was very helpful. The food was surprisingly delicious. It all came out efficiently and warm. Those wonton tacos are basically the best thing ever, and a real deal for happy hour pricing. Pros: -Stellar service - Great selection - Good food - Community facing restaurant that was giving back to an organization Cons: - Why was the entire floor so sticky? - Pasta was lukewarm. I'd rate down half a star, but I was already full from the delicious apps. Luckily it is really good reheated. read more

Food was kinda meh. I could make better at home. Did not taste good, just was overly salty. Burger under bun was three chunks. The fries were the only saving grace. Service was great, polite and attentive. ........However. The hours that followed were best described as a visit to hell. Food poisoning. Do NOT eat here, for your own sake. FOOD POISONING!!!! read more

Ambiance. First thing I noticed at the bar, was the bar had been wiped with an oily rag. You can see every swipe. I could also smell the dishwasher drain from my stool. Dirty glasses stacked everywhere behind the bar. I noticed all this in 15 sec after sitting down. Needless to say the bartender had a challenge she wasn't even aware of, bringing me back from a bad first impression. This is not a place that is concerned about ambiance. Bottom line - if you want to see your bartender doing dishes, emptying garbage and being a bar-back, just before making your cocktail, with so hand washing, come here. read more

Menu options were great and flexible, that is, you could substitute items in many cases. Ribs and chicken parmigiana were delicious. Cody, our server, really hustled, and did a great job at keeping us satisfied. He's a member of the Lost Planet Airmen. read more

Courtney was our Server on Saturday 1/09/26 evening she made our experience extra special! She was personable and my kids adored her!

I enjoyed my time there. Excellent food and amazing staff. The wait wasn't long at all!

We just dined at this location and had Cody as our server and he was FANTASTIC!! He recommended several entrees. He was very hospitable and very kind!!!! read more

Based solely off of the delivery I ordered. Price ended up being a bit more than I'd want to pay for the amount but that could be similar to other restaurants, I don't order delivery often. Otherwise the food came quick and was tasty. The bowl has lots of flavor and was a healthier menu option. Sides that too just a little small. Probably would just pick up or so in to get more value for money but tasty indeed. read more

AMAZING FOOD. The waiter Tessa was kind and put a smile on the whole time. Honestly I would rate it higher but there's only five stars.

terrible service, rude staff and a 3 hour wait for food ridiculous. food was very cold and not worth the wait. will not be coming back

Joshua R served us and was an absolute pleasure. He provided great service, and amplified our overall experience. Would highly recommend the Holland Applebees, and we will most certainly be back. read more

Cody was great! Thanks for grrat service! Food was hot and the appetizer was great! Host was friendly as well.

Husband went to pick up our curbside order. After 10 minutes of no one approaching the vehicle, he had to call to find out about our order. The guy parked next to him had to go inside for his. After getting the order and returning home, we discovered that an order of fries (from the Riblets platter) and an order of chips (from the sampler platter) were missing. Also, mozzarella sticks (from the sampler platter) were cold. Like really cold. Almost like they were barely cooked. Our bad for not checking the bag better to make sure everything was there. But I am not exaggerating when I say that 50% of the time we do curbside our order is messed up. Sometimes we catch it, sometimes we don't. Applebees has been doing curbside pickup for many years. How do they not have this figured out? How hard is it to look at an order and make sure everything is in the bag? If this happens this often to us it has to be happening to a lot of others as well. I guess we just keep hoping it will get better, but it's looking like that's not likely. read more

Great neighborhood place for a quick drink and bite to eat. Kitchen is not consistent with food quality. Presentation is not important at all. Servers and bartenders are pleasant. read more

The wait time for me was 2 hours! plus my steak was over cooked and my corn was burnt i guess you can go for... 129$ that's crazy not good.

The food is delicious, always hot and fresh! Sofia gave great service and was very informative about all promos. 5 stars!

Shrimp Caeser salad was delicious, until later, when it was not. Can I get a refund? . Was just starting to think it was my new favorite place. read more

Service was trash by Joe H the bartender!! Sandra (manager) did good trying to cover up his poor service but overall trash service and very disappointed on the lack of service. Being a production manager of a restaurant/ interns myself. He needs some retraining or find a new occupation. Multiple times this has happened and finally saying something. Lol i don't feel bad as if you wanted to make better tips you would do better to earn it Jess over there is amazing! And Lyndon as well! Bring the OG's back read more

Our server was excellent, very attentive. The food was great. The best part was that I made an error in adding on my tip, the total was more than I had intended. But the kitchen manager, Eric, was very pleasant and helpful when I returned the next day to see if they had caught the error, and they instantly made the correction. I am very grateful for his helpfulness, and attitude and terrific Customer Service. read more

We Always love the 2 for 0ne deals. Good food server was excellent. Broccoli chicken pasta a deal.

As far as Applebees goes, these guys take the cake. For a restaurant chain that is known for mediocre food and service, I've been pleasantly surprised each and every time I've come here. You guys have a great waitstaff and great BOH as well. I genuinely got a very good steak, which I never expect from a chain (bourbon st steak). My apologies for the tone of surprise but seriously- good work. read more

Best salmon ever. I love the spinach dip and the mucho sangria to go. 1/2 priced appetizers are the way to go.

Hope was absolutely amazing at greeting us at when we sat down. Food was great. Everything came out in a timely manner. Thank you Applebees.

The service was amazing. My server was Bryston & he was nice & very attentive. The food came out fast.

Our service was great, and our drinks/food came out fast on a Friday night. Our server Bryston was really nice, and checked on us often.

Food was great tonight and the service was on point! Love the Mac and chicken tenders!

Ordered takeout last night. Specified one of the burgers to be gluten and dairy free yet it came with melted cheese. No fries that were also ordered. My order came as requested but had to give my fries to my wife so she would at least have some sort of meal. No response to my complaint. read more

We have been to Applebee's many times since we moved to Holland 16 years ago. However, it is an even better experience. Kirstie Alley died last night. She was on Cheer's. Charles W., the bartender at Applebee's, makes you feel like you are Cheer's. The restaurant welcomes everyone and the food is well prepared. Drinks are wonderful. Charles W. has made this a Neighborhood Bar and Grill. read more

This applebees is pretty good! I've been here on multiple occasions and have gotten pretty good service consistently. Just like any other chain you don't always get the best service or food but here they are actually pretty consistent. I pretty much get one of the same 3 dishes every time I come and each time my faves come just as I expect them. This place gets pretty busy around 6 especially on the weekends but there usually isn't too crazy of a wait if any. I love their late night special and I always come back for the discounted prices for the same portions; good deal! Not bad! read more

Always have good food and drinks, service is fast and accurate. Try their special drinks when they have them.

Applebee's is always consistent with their food quality and ambiance. What stood out this visit was the service. Amanda at the Holland location delivered exceptional customer service. She was personable, she offered advice and suggestions and did an outstanding job in customer service. Thank you for going above and beyond. I will definitely be back and look forward to having Amanda as my server again. read more

Never have a bad experience here. Food is usually quick and I have had some really cool waiters/waitresses here! I love getting their Alfredo sauce and breadstick appetizer with most of my meals! My husband and I have been going to this location for years. We love going there when Gale, the sever was working there. We always got excellent serves when she was there. We where there just today for lunch. and we got sat in Elisha, male sever. And we had the worst lunch experiment ever!! he was not a very good server. He kept saying " I'll be back to get your drink order" he went by his three times and didn't get your order. was not being very attentive to us. When we got our lunch, as he is walking by us, not stopping to, just as he is walking he asked us " how is your lunch?" but not stopping to see if we needed anything. We had to ask the person who gave us our lunch if we could have some A-1. The lunch expertness was horrible!! next time we will eat some where else. read more
