The remodel looks amazing! The restaurant is always clean. The food is always hot & tasty. The staff are fun and friendly. We had a large party, and they were so accommodating. We were enjoying $1 margaritas. We had such a fun evening thanks to GH Applebees! read more

Server Name per the receipt: "Danielle OG" 10/10 Late Sunday dinner @745pm on a holiday weekend. Got busier as the evening progressed until nearly all the tables were full. Food came steaming hot, fast, and fresh. We got the all- you-can-eat-special and the server did a great job getting our order refills in quickly. read more

We came in at 10:15PM on Monday, 9/1/25. I cannot remember the last time we ate at Applebee's... we had takeout from there about 6 months ago, but before that? It had been YEARS. It was late, a holiday and our options were limited. I was really happy with our experience! We sat at the bar and Casey D. took GREAT care of us! She was attentive and personable. It was pretty quiet that late on a weeknight. Several games were on, giving us lots of options of what we could watch. Our beers were COLD, almost ice cream headache cold and I really appreciate that. They also have late night specials - 1/2 most of their apps and a couple beers were $4 for talls. My Mister had the mild buffalo boneless wings and mozzarella sticks - BOTH 1/2 off! They were good and he was happy with his choices. I had the Asian Chicken Salad with fried chicken. It's my absolute favorite thing on their menu. And tonight reminded me why. I ordered extra dressing because I drank the first one. I neglected to take pics this time, but it looked just like the menu! I can see us coming here more often in the future! A nice change from our usual chains. read more

I honestly can't think of a worse time I've ever eaten out. Came here with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary and we were put in a waitlist only to hear two of the hostesses and a server shit talking the other employees while customers sat nearby. When we were seated, it took our server about five trips just to get our drinks let alone a proper order. I asked to switch my side of broccoli to green beans which was messed up. When I got my green beans, my boyfriend and I noticed we were charged for it despite asking to be a substitute. I asked my steak to be rare, and it was a dark red which was purely raw. My boyfriend got an entirely different cut of steak. It was thinner and weighed less, despite us ordering the same thing. The only good thing about place was the tomato soup, which was served by who I'm assuming is the manager. read more

Hope you get Dylan H as a server when you go to Applebees Grand Haven! He was the best server we've ever had super attentive and very fun. Plus our food came out piping hot. Safe to say we loved our meal and enjoyed the service. Thank you so much!!! read more

Very good service, food came out quickly, good ambiance! Love Logan the hostess, she's so sweet and welcoming!

Always a pleasure to stop in the Grand Haven location for our favorite chicken Caesar salad. The food did not disappoint! Fresh ingredients and timely service. Bonus that we had our fav waitress Carly F. Comfortable and friendly Vibe at this location!! read more

Applebee's Grill and Bar in Grand Haven, Mi. does not disappoint! Carly F. is attentive and friendly. We make it a point to stop at this Applebee's when in the area. We ask to be seated in her section if possible. We're looking forward to our next visit. read more

Service was great and food was hot and fast!! In town for the week and much needed sit down meal!

Hey Applebee's in Grand Haven... what happened to your booth privacy walls? Those were so nice. Now you have us sitting back to back with people with 6" between me the guy behind me. It feels like you're eating with them. Last time we had little kids climbing around from the booth behind us and it was so distracting we just wanted to leave. You can hear every word people around you are saying and can't hear the people sitting with you. Terrible decision to remove those walls. We liked it how it was, came in every week. I was like our little getaway after a long days work. Not sure we'll be going back now. read more

This place was so great to take my granddaughters to! Nacoshia was great interacting with them. When 1 dropped her spoon she brought another one right out! They really loved the mac and cheese, being able to get a side that wasn't fires. read more

This place was awesome!!! Loved Nacoshia and the host was super friendly and professional!

Went to Applebees in grand haven ordered the French onion soup she came out and said it was frozen so it would be a while I thought it was made every day will not order it again read more

Disappointed with the Monday $10.00 special Burger and Fries. Bun was dry, tomato was size of a 50 cent piece, I would have thrown the lettuce out, french fries were minimal. The Pepsi was tasteless, like soda water! I've had better meals at McDonald's! The only good thing about our meal, was the usual great service! read more

very good food and staff!!! i love getting food for sit in dine or carry out! Nacoshia is great as a server and i love all her pens!!!

Friday night dinner did not disappoint! I noticed on the menu a new item. Wonton chicken. Resembled a stir fry. Spicy like the wonton taco appetizer. I throughly enjoyed! The check in offer of a free app and the bartenders recommendation of the frozen mango/wild berry swirl margarita was wonderful! My dinner partner loved the chicken patties. Wished there was spaghetti noodles instead of fettuccine noodles. They were too mushy for his taste, read more

Maybe don't have your employees lie about last call time when it's posted on your door.

Applebee's in Grand Haven sucks, the one in Holland is actually pretty nice. My only complaint about the evening was how long it took our drinks to make it to the table. We watched our drinks sit at the bar while our server stood and talked in a corner with another employee. Two of us were tempted to just walk over and grab them ourselves. But as we were joking about it out appetizers arrived, which our server got us for free and saved us a little money (which we're always grateful for) So we waited another couple minutes for our drinks to arrive and everything from there was smooth sailing. I had the 8oz shrimp parmesan sirloin with broccoli and fries and they never disappoint. Lots of great food options, reasonable to cheap pricing. read more

My family took my daughter here for her birthday it was busy but it took over an hr to get our literally cold food which they attempted to fix but when I did my best to eat the food they "fixed" I immediately started vomiting. Both my pregnant wife and 5 yr old son also got sick shortly after leaving. You'd think poisoning someone you'd not charge them for food but not the case they simply took $20 off our bill. This isn't the 1st time there food was questionable and I'll never go to any applebee's because of this experience. It ruined our night. Stay tuned for what the doctor's report states caused our illness. read more

Applebees is our standby place to eat. We dont have a lot of choices close by. We always enjoy it though! Great service helps a lot. The food is always right on spot! read more

This past super bowl Sunday it was a total sh*t show. Hour long waits for orders, doordash orders going unanswered. Waited 30 minutes myself for two orders before having to walk away. Also wasn't able to try the 40 wing deal they had going on and was really looking foreword to having that for dinner with mr family. read more

One of my favorite franchise restaurants around. Good food and prices. You can't beat half off apps after 9! Living in Spring Lake, we don't have a fair priced franchise restaurant. Thankfully this Bees is right over the bridge from the village. The one downside is if you don't drink beer, the price for a cocktail is quite high for the liquor-mixer ratios.(expected at a franchise) Also being a big captain and diet fan, the Pepsi rather than Coke is kind of disappointing lol. Overall great spot to grab a bite to eat and drinks for some fall football! read more

The food was good. Very good this time around actually. All service was good until the end. Waited 20 minutes after done eating, just sitting there. If I didn't ask for the bill, I dont know how long we would have been sitting there. read more

Nothing special, it's a chain obviously. But a good spot for a quick meal no less. Quality is down the street and towards the water.

Love the 'bees. This is a great location. The spinach salad with shrimp is always so fresh, and the bacon dressing is excellent. Wish they carried gluten free beers (not cider) and/or vodka. Busy location, but you really never have a long wait unless there's an event nearby. Kudos. read more

Today, I went to Applebee's with 6 of my friends after a long boat day. What a splendid afternoon! The servers were so kind and well organized even though they were clearly short staffed. I felt so bad for this nice youngins. I really enjoyed my boneless honey barbecue wings. The gwackamoli was very good and my dearest friend put it on his burger as well as his quesadillas. What's even so great about this place is that if you order a set of wings, you can do half one sauce and half the other! That way, if you're feeling two different sauces you can taste both in your meal! I hope everyone in the world goes to Applebee's because they deserve it. Stay happy folk! read more

If you want to go there the foods pretty good but please plan on waiting an extremely long time. They told us 15 minutes and it was at least 45 minutes. You also have to wait outside in your car and they will text you. read more

Worried about my favorite restaurant. Cold food, slow service and a confused waitress. Party of five, we had a steak overcooked. Ordered medium rare and got it served with no pink in the middle. Staff corrected this without trouble, the replacement steak was much much better. Chicken wings were drowning in sauce, and freezing cold on the inside. They took them to the back and microwaved them (and the celery as well). Chicken on an oriental chicken salad was also cold, but we declined getting that microwaved as well. A French onion soup was warm, but not hot. Basically only my food was done correct. On top of all of this, the food came out slowly (people seated after we ordered got food before be did). I would believe that this was atypical of this location, but as our last visit was likewise poor (but still better than this) I fear this location might be getting worse instead of improving. read more

We had not been to Applebee's in a while so we decided to go to the Applebee's in Grandhaven. Appetizers, chicken wings were excellent. Our adult beverages were very good, a margarita and a passion blast beer. Our entrées were average , My wife had the oriental shrimp stir fry and she thought it was a quite spicy. I had the macaroni and cheese with chicken strips and I think the macaroni and cheese was very cheeseless. Was not impressed with their entrée. However, we continue to go to Applebee's and try different things. read more

Best meal and service. Had the ribs and chicken (all you can eat). Way too much food. Really good ribs and our server Hollie was the absolute best. The long Island iced tea was tasty, too. read more

My friend and I came here after spending the day at the beach and we waited for our food for like 25 minutes, and once our appetizer came out there were two eyelashes on there that weren't ours because we were wearing mascara and you could tell that these eyelashes had no mascara on them, then my friends burger had a long hair on it as well. They remade it which took about 30 minutes. Then he brought our receipts when we had our cards in our hands, and he walked away immediately. We ended up going to the lady at the bar to tender our checks out. read more

I am from out of town and we came to Applebees in Grand Haven with our 10 and 7 year old. My eldest son ordered Buffalo wings. The waitress put in boneless. When a discussion started at our table about whether she understood boneless or bone-in i went to tell her bone-in but she couldn't be found and I left the message with the hostess. When the order came to the table my son took one bite and they were too hot for him to eat. Waitress told us nothing could be done and we ordered another plate unseasoned. They left the wings on the table. When we got the bill the boneless and 2 bone-in were on the bill. After pointing out we never received the boneless she had it removed but the 2 orders of wings remained on the bill. (I managed a restaurant for years in my earlier days; never would we have charged the customer for something a 10 year old could not eat!) times-are-a-changing. I will never go back to Applebees. This location treats customers as transients and doesn't treat them well. read more

I fail to see how this place stays open. Went there tonight for dinner service was great but the food was terrible not even eatable. I done with Applebee's Everytime it's rotten. Save your money and go to Wendy's. read more

Manager fixed the issues. Food was ok. Had planned to go elsewhere but due to time restraints we tried it out. My wife and I had ok food no complaints. My daughters salad still had a extra piece of saran wrap in it Gross! Both my girls dishes chicken was not good. Manager got and order of chicken finger for the girls to split. Thank you again! read more

If I would've reviewed this place after our first experience there, it would've been one star however our second experience was great! Our first experience - we were seated quickly and waited for our waitress to come. Ten minutes went by.. Twenty minutes.. Thirty minutes.. Our hostess eventually walked by our table and was shocked we didn't have drinks yet. She went and got the waitress in charge of our table and she apologized. Our food was alright and we were out of there much later than we got there. The table two tables away from us got all of their food for free because they waited over an hour and a half. That experience kinda scared us away. Second experience - a friend from college was visiting and we wanted to go for half priced apps like we did in our college town. We were seated and quickly realized we were an hour early for that deal. We didn't care much and ordered from the regular menu. Our waiter was AWESOME. So friendly and accommodating. Our food was great and we were very happy. This last time our service was better than great and our food was awesome, so four stars it is! read more

The portions sucked. They literally take the 2 for $10 appetizers and cut the portions in half. Two breadsticks for $5 ! Ripoff ! Plus the waitress had an attitude about it. Applebees is great in Muskegon. Avoid this dump. read more

I always enjoy eating at an Applebee's, but I find their food mediocre. I really only go for half off apps which happens usually after 9pm. The staff is friendly and attentive. If you need cheap food for a late night snack, go here. read more

My experience here was not great tonight! Today was my birthday and I figured we'd go out to eat with all of my children. We got seated and after we got our drinks we had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for our food. The place wasn't even busy (we only had a 10 minute wait to get in the restaurant with 7 of us). On top of that, after the long wait, our food was cold when it got to us! The waiter was alright but we had to ask him for a booster 4 different times. And if you know toddlers they are not the easiest in a restaurant. Overall, I definitely don't think I got the service I deserved for the cost of our dinner. read more

Please don't eat here. Find a local restaurant and give them your business. There are plenty on Yelp to try. The food here is dull, dull, dull. Please dig into our local community and support a local restaurant. Go to Morning Star Cafe for breakfast or lunch, or lunch with the ladies at Taste of the Season, or for dinner hit Righteous Cuisine (awesome tacos).
