I was overruled by several elderly members of our group of 6. They wanted Applebees for it's predictable menu and accessible seating. Oh, well! I got the quesadilla chicken salad. It was predictably quite good. I really enjoyed it. Service was attentive. I'll forgive our waitress for not know the difference between draft and bottled beer since she appeared to be about 16 years old. And I did have to request a glass for my bottled beer, but I guess I am just too damned fancy. I do need to comment on my daughter's dish. She ordered the "Four-Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders." The tenders were delicious. But the pasta was bizarrely flavorless. And I mean it had absolutely zero flavor! The food was decent but I've never been overly impressed. Unfortunately, I waitress was sub par. Sometimes when the food isn't great the service can make up for it but not this time. I ordered chicken Alfredo with broccoli, broccoli on the side, guess where it was... When the waitress brought my mom's coffee the waitress said, check to see if it's cold...guess what, it was cold...the waitress said, I'll bring you a fresh cup, guess what, we had to ask several times... She gave us our bill and guess what, no pen. Hours later, maybe an exaggeration, she brought a pen, then hours later, maybe another exaggeration, she finally picked it up. This is a big national chain. Nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. Menu items are typical meals you'll see national. Food is nothing special and OK. Service seems a little slow, took a while to get seated. Had the ribs, good value for the portion you receive. Good location with plenty of free parking. Restrooms are well maintained. read more

Stopped by for an early dinner on a Monday night. They were not busy and had a lot of tables available. They asked if a high top was acceptable and we preferred a booth. The greeter said we would have to wait awhile. We waited 10 minutes, counting more than 10 booths available. The greeter was more interested in socializing and walked away from the front for most of our wait. We finally decided to leave and go elsewhere. read more

Our waitress was really good. But the rest of the service was bad. Half of our table got their food and the other half didn't get a drop till the rest of us was done. We ordered dessert with 2 spoons and only got one. When the girl brought it I asked for another spoon and she just gave me a go to hell look and never brought it. HORRIBLE. Hailey F needs to be fired. We came here at 9:15 for the late night half off appetizers! We ordered waters that took about ten minutes to get to us, no clue why that would take so long. We then ordered appetizers and the lady took our menus after we ordered them? What if I wanted a meal dog. We ordered pretzel sticks and cheese bites. As we waited a half an hour we noticed the couple across of us got their spinach dip and (very important) the guy at the table ordered a crispy chicken salad. WE ALL HEARD HIM SAY CRISPY HAILEY F!!! A little bit before our pretzels arrived Hailey brought the poor guy a grilled chicken salad and then gaslighted him and said "You said grilled but i'll have that out for you." Whatever Hailey. It's important to note that we saw a plate of cheese bites and pretzel sticks pass us around 9:30. Hailey comes around to us (first time in 30 minutes any waitress had given us any attention) she says "oh you guys should have your pretzels by now". Yeah Hailey. And our cheese bites. The pretzels come out. It's about 9:45 now, good thing we didn't want dinner. The pretzels are burnt, extra greasy, overall way worse than the time I had them a month ago. Also it's insane that we didn't have napkins or silverware or plates or nothing. We then wait for our cheese bites. And wait. And wait. We then ask for our bill! In summary, apologize to that guy Hailey was rude to, try harder to give costumers more than half of what they ordered, and fire Hailey F! Thank you. read more

My husband and I enjoy coming for a good meal and we have never been disappointed. We usually order the 6 or 8 oz steak.

Wow I'd give this place 0 if I could. I give it a -200 and feel violated disrespected starving thirsty and sick to my stomach I even wasted my time. The bartender took 3 other orders before taking our drink order to people who came in after us. She seemed flustered and drunk. She would pour a beer half way and then go take someone's order and forget about the beer. We ordered nachos and instead of telling us they didn't have cheese they just canceled the order and never told us until we asked because everyone else around us after us had ate and was finished. Then when we said we still wanted them just with extra meat she brought out chips with a whole container of sour cream and guacamole and only maybe two spoonfuls of meat. When we asked her for our extra side of meat she told us she couldn't ring that in and that it was free and was super rude then went to get the manager. The manger was extremely rude told us that it was free and not to complain but we weren't complaining we just wanted meat. That's it meat. The server spilled an entire drink on my daughter. The beef nachos lacked beef. The chips were soft and soggy like they had been sitting with toppings on them for too long. Our burgers were made incorrectly and instead of getting fresh buns, they took him to the back peel the ingredients off and gave us the same old stale buns. This was by far my worst experience ever! When we walked in there was no one to greet us, not a big deal until the manager walked right by us not saying a word. We were seated and when my boyfriend made a comment that the table was wet the hostess acted like she didn't know what to do about it. When our waitress arrived you could tell she didn't want to be there. When I was offering her my license she snatched it out of my hand. The hostess first asked if I wanted to sit at the bar. I said I prefer a table. She sat me in the bar at a tall top. I sat there for 15 minutes before I finally got up to ask the bartender, who was no more than 8 feet from my table, who the waitress was in this area. Said it was her and that she would be over soon. I said I have been here 15 minutes and no one even acknowledged I was there. No apology just an "OK" from her. The hostess finally came over and got my drink order and about 5 minutes later the bartender finally came up and asked if I was ready to order. We were in Fremont for sons hockey game. Needed to kill an hour and not many places to sit down and eat there unfortunately and ended up at Craplebees. Never got to eat our food. Basically this one is in rural Ohio and we mistakenly showed up at Sunday at 12:30 as our son had a hockey game at their ice rink at 1:35. Ordered food at 12:40 after a easy wait of 10 minutes for a table for six. We told the waitress we are ready to order as we needed to get out of there at 1:20. App and salads came quick. She was very helpful, but a very slow kitchen day and we left at 1:20 having only ate our app and salads. She checked if food was ready to box it up and it wasn't even close. My husband and I have gone here on numerous occasions and is one of the very few places that we will wait in line. The wait, if any, has always been worth it. We have eaten at some of the top restaurants and I can honestly say that you get what you pay for. I also greatly appreciate that they were the first ones in the whole area to honour our veterans. I was driving back home from my day trip at Cedar Point and stopped for some food at this Applebee's location. I was rather impressed with the great service that I received. Everything was perfect from the food arrive time to the waitress mannerisms. I look forward to making this a traditional stop on my way back from Cedar Point every time. This place has changed. I asked the Manager if they changed the Asian salad that was previously excellent. She said they have changed most of their menu. All 3 of us who had lunch agreed it was not good anymore. The waitress was completely lost, but we just got a bad draw on that. I visit here often and thoroughly enjoy my experience. The food is good. The service is good and the prices are fair. One thing I enjoy about Applebees is even after they drop your bill off at your table they continue to serve you. I wish I could say that about other restaurants. read more
