The place is...like any other Applebees. Nothing special about it. Lot of open tables, but hardly any servers. It seemed like. Environment was...meh! Customer Service. The wait wasn't too bad at the door. At the table, it felt like we were waiting longer than we were just to get seated. It's a Friday night. Okay, I get it, it's busy. BUT I felt our server took advantage of the "busy" night. Because it took about 12 minutes to just come and greet us. We were already ready to order and wanted everything out all at once. Specifically ordered the blondies to come out with the appetizer. And entrees to follow. We get seated at 7:40pm. 7:53pm our server greets us and we give her our order. 8:30pm the waters and appetizer is on the table. 8:52pm our entrees are out. I ordered extra shrimp. It never came out with the entrees. I asked the server again. The extra "6" shrimp, I was charged for??! Was only 4. She was cool about and got the extra 4 shrimps out quickly. Sadly, after that...we barely saw her on the floor. Our waters are empty, still no blondies. Needed to go boxes. And wanted to pay in cash. I had to ask other servers for help and they would go and call for our server. It got to a point where the manager had to come out and ring me up. But dang! Even the manager seemed lost. It was a bad experience. 2 stars for the food being good!! Being on the road for 11 hours and just wanting a nice meal in a reasonable time frame...the waiting makes the frustration real. lol! I'm reading older reviews and it seems like there haven't been any changes with the customer service. This location oughta get some better customer service training. Talk is easy. I heard they had a flight of margaritas , which sounded great. $19.99. 3 plastic glasses on a board with fruity colors. No ice, no salt , warm fruity margaritas with a piece of lime that was so small, I could not put a drop of lime in each one . We had to get a glass of ice to dump the crappy drinks in so they weren't warm. Food was just OK, and the service paired really well with the food. Both dissapointing . We stopped by Apples Bee after a high school basketball game hoping to enjoy a nice meal with family, unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The Manager immediately accused one person in our group of being intoxicated because hes eyes were red, in reality all our eyes were red because it was late. We politely asked to speak with the Manager to clear up the misunderstanding, however she would not speak with us. We simple wanted to enjoy a meal with family amd a drink after the game. This is a nice Applebees in town and one that was surprisingly descent compared to the ones in ABQ. Prices are reasonable and portion are adequately. Staff can improve in customer service. Lightening is not the greatest but if you like dim restaurants this is the place to go. Food decently seasoned and cooked. Overall is decently cleaned. Have not been to an Applebee's for a while and I have never been to this one. So new way to stay safe is eat outside. Everyone has a small covering and you sit there. Menus are used once then thrown away, great idea. Waitress wears a mask and gloves, only thing is how often do they change the gloves. Restrooms are cleaned every 30 minutes and they ask you use a paper towel open doors. The food was great!! I must say it was worth the stop. Fries are great here. read more

A small group (6) of is went after the movies for quick apps. The waiter was the worst ‍. He took our drink orders and only delivered half the drinks. Then took awhile to come back with the rest. When we ordered, we ordered 4 appetizers to share, since it was late and we were full of popcorn from the theaters. His responce was "that's it... are you sure?" When apps came out, we asked for a 2nd ranch. He said "ok" then proceeded to go to table next to ours and clean that table off. After waiting several minutes, we had to go to the bar to ask for ranch and silverware. A different waitress came over and asked if we wanted drink refills. I was with my mom and she has a knee problem, we expected them to have a table (at least one) ready because we saw about 5-7 empty tables and when we first came it it was like they didn't want us there, the first girl rolled her eyes and the second girl was talking shit about the customers she just had and they weren't even out of ear shot yet. Took my niece and her son (8 yrs old) to this location last week (11/12/23) for lunch. The positives were: nice hostess and waitress. The negatives: 1) the SMELL. God! It reeked like a bathroom. I thought it may have been a mistake, but the smell never got better. 2) The food - it wasn't cold but it was below lukewarm. We ordered 2 of the "fish & chips" - I think they had been cooked earlier and were just waiting around for someone to order them. There were 3 fish on the plate, only could eat 1 of them. The plates weren't "hot" or even warm. 3) the overall appearance and cleanliness of the restaurant - it's dated. Like, SERIOUSLY DATED. The pictures/"paintings" on the walls - UGH, had catsup and crayon markings all over them. (Don't they ever wipe them down?!) Just nasty. While it appeared the table had been "wiped down" it was still sticky to the touch. (Maybe use a clean rag or something. IDK - ) 4) I DID use the facilities (i.e., bathroom) while there - you could tell they had mopped at one time as there were mop strings (?) wrapped around the doors, but the floor was still sticky. And that smell I mentioned before - yeah, it was in there too! Might I suggest using some bleach in there? And a good dousing of drain cleaner? I only go to Farmington a few times a year. It isn't until we are in that specific Applebee's that I remember that it's horrible in Farmington. I've told my niece that we need to make a note to never go in there again. read more

By far the worst Applebees I have ever been to. Waiter needs to find another occupation. Manager spent the entire night apologizing to people around us for poor service and wrong food orders. The restaurant was not busy at all and should have been very easy to deliver food and drinks in a timely fashion. No one at the bar yet it took 20 minutes for a basic alcoholic beverage. Made the mistake of waiting until after 9pm to go grab dinner. BAD idea in this place they call Farmington! Since nothing else was open we went to Applebee's and discovered what the bottom of a dumpster must taste (and feel) like. I ordered the shrimp and spinach salad which should be advertised as the shriveled sea turd and spinach salad. The "shrimp" tasted and looked like they had never been in contact with water, let alone the open ocean. The bacon dressing served with this salad was suspiciously gelatinous (like the stuff you might find congealed in the bottom of a dumpster) and didn't have an identifiable taste which had me slightly worried about my health. Nothing bad to say about the spinach...just wish it wasn't drenched in the bacon-flavored dumpster splooge. Any hopes of a cold brew making up for the meal were dashed as soon as the waitress rattled of the beer selection. Does a large portion of the population out there really drink Bud/Miller/Crappy light?!?! Whatever - to each their own. If I could leave 0 stars I would because the service here was terrible. We had a family dinner and the bill was about $85 we left a 20% tip $10 in cash the rest on my debit card. We had a good dinner as a family but as we left we were followed outside because their employees lost our signed receipts and the $10 cash tip, we felt like the service was awful the manager got involved and was no help in talking to us to resolve the issue, we suggested they should check the cameras that were around the area. There was a crowd here- karoake going (on a Friday), so a bit loud,... the waitress was not so well, she took our order and that was it- the rest of the time we were waving our arms, saying excuse me... not very friendly. Went here for Fathers Day, worst place to go. I've been to other Applebee's and don't have to search for the host.
