The food? average. The service? not bad. The Ambiance however is lacking. Here's my detailed experience. Upon reading the reviews here i was kind of sad to hear. Applebees might be gross to many people but this restaurant is very nostalgic for me. My girlfriend and her mother got sick here a few years ago but she was willing to come with me to see if this place had shaped up even just a little and honestly it wasn't bad. The service was standard, i see a lot of people complaining about their service but i guess i got lucky? the service was good no complaints and no long waiting times. The food came out well presented and fresh. I ordered the all you can eat boneless wings and shrimp which both were pretty good! nothing outstanding but very much edible. My girlfriend had the classic Chicken Fajita Rollup which always sates an appetite and reminds me of my childhood and she enjoyed it! With two servings and a beer on the side the bill was surprisingly low! For the money the food was good and overall my experience was great but the restaurant didn't have the tacky and unique decals on the walls which i feel is iconic in lack of a better word for Applebees but hey this place was good. With that said i would eat here again. Maybe try out their late night specials or try something new on their menu! read more

What a great late night treat! Heading back from the baseball game after 10pm on a Friday night I was In the need of more like a snack than dinner. I was also traveling alone so I needed someplace comfortable and familiar. Applebees has a Late Night Happy Hour with half price appetizers and drink specials from 9pm-midnight Monday - Friday. I was immediately seated and chose to sit in a booth as the bar area was very busy and not many seats were available. The NCAA tournament was on as well as a few baseball games. I was seated near a large family group with small children who were excited and energetic despite the hour. The host made sure I was good sitting near them which I was. My waitress arrived quickly and took my drink order. She mistakenly told me that Blue Moon was part of the happy hour special and rather than just pouring that, she returned and told me which beers were $3 and allowed me to change my order (to Miller Lite). I then placed my order for the Chicken WonTon Tacos as well as a glass of water. She returned with both the water and the beer. I could see the sports action from my seat and was happy to just sit and relax for a bit. I didn't have to wait long as my Chicken WonTon tacos were brought to me by the manager who let me know her name (Carmen) and to let her know if there was anything else I needed. For some reason the on table billing/card readers were having some issues and the table with the large family let me know they had my bill and therefore I would be getting theirs. We laughed about it and the waitress was right there to fix it. I don't know how much their bill was since my bill was never actually affected but I can tell you that my appetizer and beer came to a grand total of less than $10 before tip. It was just the right amount of food washed down with a cold beer, all with attentive service despite the fact that I was not a big ticket table. read more

Terrible host, she's looks miserable. Went there for late lunch like almost 3pm. Restaurant not packed. Many empty table but the host sit with us so close to the table in front. That table had a guy who sat at the corner for a table for 4. There were 3 of f us, so this guy seemed like he was at our table but his back is facing us. And my daughter had to sit beside him. There were so many empty tables! So I asked the hostess politely if we can sit at another empty table. She said yes, grab the menus, took us to another table and literally threw the menus on to the table and walked away! Luckily the waitress is nice. Won't go back for sure read more

My wife and I stopped here for dinner after dropping my son off at the airport. Everything was ok except the server. She was unattentive, disinterested and slow. The food was good but the server never checked back after our food was ordered she often disappeared. For the money we spent on dinner we except better service read more

I was pleasantly surprised to get a decent delivered steak from an Applebees. The cut didn't have a ton of fat to it, and it was cooked well as though the cook really knew how to do a steak right. The sides were good compliments to the filet. The mashed potatoes are always a good choice! read more

Would give zero stars if we could, while in the past we haven't had too bad experience at this Applebee's, we have never had a great experience either. But recently we had a beyond terrible experience with everything. Hosts clearly looked miserable to be there, our waitress was beyond terrible, I think her name was Jillian. Maybe she was having a bad night, who knows. Our drink orders took forever, the Sprite machine wasn't working, we sent it back and we never even got replacement drinks. Tito's and sprite didn't even have sprite in it either. She forgot one of our waters and had to ask for it 2 times. Come to find out she fully charged us for drinks we either couldn't drink and didn't get replacements for! Then we go to order our food and every single one of our plates we're wrong! Nothing was complicated, two of the meals were stone cold, one didn't have sauce on the side as requested, and the other didn't have the side of mayo and ranch as requested. Our waitress didn't bother to ask us if we needed any more drinks, nor did she ask how our meals came out. I rarely ever complain at restaruants and would have if a manger stopped by, or if anyone just asked us how our meal was, but the manager was literally no where to be seen, which is just as bad. My birthday 2020 I ordered curbside. I ordered bacon cheeseburger no tomato. I drove 20 minutes home to find No bacon and 3 large slices of tomato. I call they said come back we'll fix it. I drive 20 minutes back. Again a bacon cheeseburger with no bacon. I now have to go inside. Again we'll fix it. 15 more minutes and the bring me a bacon cheeseburger with tomatoes. I just wanted a bacon cheeseburger with no tomato. 15 more minutes and it's finally correct. 20 minutes there. 20 minutes back, 30 minutes for them to remake it twice and it's now 9pm and I have another 20 minute drive back home. You want to eat here? You better clear your schedule, pack plenty of patience and tolerance for bullcrap. My wife and I went here for lunch on 8/4/2020 and regretted it. Although we were lucky enough to be seated right away, we were sat by the entrance and took notice potential diners were informed of a 30 minute wait meanwhile the dining room was dead slow and quiet! We were promptly ignored by our server who took our order 20 minutes after we were seated and lunch arrived 30 minutes after we ordered it. Our lunch of "Fiesta Chicken" tasted like it died at the pass and it was served anyway and the side of Spanish rice was dry and unpalatable. Covid-19 pandemic (I get it. You got to take those precautions.) aside, this was terrible and I can guarantee we will NOT be dining here anytime in the future. read more

The current team here is amazing! Food is great and the servers are attentive and friendly. I usually order applebees carside to go and the food comes out freshly made and delicious each time. If on the rare occasion something was wrong they will offer to make up for it. I've actually went on their website to provide the positive feedback several times. Service was good, our server was Jessica. Food was served hot and tasted good. Can't go wrong with the deal for two meals and an appetizer for $20. Decent service, decent food. I'm not a huge fan of Applebee's. This place doesn't do anything spectacular either. The service isn't memorable nor is the food. The half off drinks and appetizers late night is the only thing that keeps me coming back. My usual orders are the one dollar long islands (which is usually lots of ice and very very little alcohol) the sriracha shrimp, which is usually drowned in sriracha sauce and the chicken wonton tacos. That happens to be the better side of the options, on the sweeter side of dishes. I've had their tomato soup which was mediocre and their chili which was cold. It's like any other Applebee's. An Applebee's is an Applebee's but this one isn't bad. We had a great server named Christopher. Attentive and friendly. We came during Happy Hour and you can't beat those half price appetizer prices. I had the Wings and typically they're overdone at other places but this location's was fresh (not refrigerator-tasting), crunchy, and quite delicious. Honestly I'm not huge on reviews I think people use them as a platform to discuss every little thing that they would have done better. With that being said Kayla is a reason to take time to leave a review. We joined Kayla and Applebee's around 3 during a late lunch pop, we were kindly greeted by a sweet host who was very accommodating to our family. After being sat we were greeted and taken care of by Kayla who seemed to have a full section and everything in complete control. Not only were our courses timed perfectly Kayla paid extra attention to detail with every course, and even took the time to remember Togo containers for the sauces. The restaurant was empty. There were maybe 4 occupied tables that i saw. I watched several people leave after being told about the wait. Husband and I came by before going to the movies for a quick bite. Had a wonderful server Lonnie. We got an order of wings - one of the wings were a bit undercooked (red). Lonnie handled it swiftly and the manager was brought to our table - comped the app. I ordered the brunch burger but ended up with a different one - Lonnie, again, promptly addressed it and had the burger remade to perfection and had it also comped. Sitting in my room eating chick fil a thanks to Applebee's. traveling on business so I can eat anywhere I want, so I went to Applebee's for a drink and a nice dinner. I was alone so I let them it me at the bar, there was only 2 other people at the bar and they finishing up. I had to ask for attention, skip forward, I ordered a bourbon steak with sweet potato fries, I got 2 dried up pieces of beef well done and roasted potatoes, i could not get anyone's attention, nobody ever said how is it, or checked on me. Everyone knows I love me some Applebee's, and I have my normal location we visit that rocks!!! However we were visiting Pa and decided to stop in to eat before we hit the hotel at 1134p. When we walked in we literally stood there for a good two minutes before I was asked is a hi top okay. I promptly said no but we received no greeting, no hello, no welcome to Applebee's nothing. This time I decided to try just about everything on the new late night menu. We ordered.... Double crunch bone in wings, salsa verde shredded brisket nachos, Kobe style meatballs, siracha shrimp and potstickers and my son ordered the triple bacon burger. Second sign of disappointment.... Our server telling us they all will come out one at a time . WHY!!! If I place an order I assume all my food would come out at the same time at the same temperature. Was up in the area for a ski trip and was SO excited to go here because boyfriend had never been to one! What excites me about Applebee's has always been the pork chops and the huge fun drinks. We came here after skiing absolutely exhausted and really in the mood for pork chops and were HORRIFIED to see there were no pork chops on the menu. Pork chops is one of Applebee's signature dishes! Or at least it used to be. We were both really disappointed and I ended up settling for a boring old bacon cheeseburger (which actually was quite good, but not what I was in the mood for at the time). Boyfriend's meal: "generic" French Onion Soup and Bourbon Street Steak, which was "overcooked" and "the Bourbon was too pronounced." I'm actually shocked he remembered so well what he ate as this meal took place more than 2 years ago. I am reviewing this 2 years later because I have noticed in general that something horrible is happening where pork chops seem to be vanishing from the menus of restaurants everywhere. We need to stop them! Applebee's used to be reliable in serving up giant pork chops with apple sauce side, and needs to be called out for this major problem. This is the worst Applebee's EVER my last visit we sat for over an hour as others had their food served. We finally got a hold of the waitress and she expressed the order was never put in. So we gave this location another shot tonight and long behold they fail again by serving us the bone in chicken wings and received a piece of boneless raw chicken. I hate to do a bad review during Covid but I cannot in good conscience let this slide. First of all, I should have taken it as a sign when I called to get the address and the girl on the phone had to ask someone else. Totally incompetent. Then. We put our name on the wait list for 4, was told an hour wait, and they'd call when a table was ready. That didn't happen I went to check in and the girl says oh we called and it went to VM. Lies but ok. Susan was our server and here's where I lose it. She wears a mask, but leans down in your face to speak. A lot. She brought drinks and refills, but consistently left the dirty dishes on our crowding table. I was just about to walk them to the hostess stand when I spotted the manager glaring from across the room at our stacked cups. He must've said something because Susan came right over go fix the problem. My daughter ordered a dish that inexplicably was covered in bacon. We don't eat pork, do they took it back.
