Absolutely love Applebee's! First time coming here and an absolutely wreck and bad experience. Ordered a simple trio appetizer: riblets, pretzels & mozzarella sticks. The riblets came out cold, the service was extremely slow. Took over an hour to get our food and the ambiance just felt chaotic. Terrible experience from start to finish. Our waiter was inattentive and slow, which meant the food arrived cold and tasted awful. To top it off, two people were charged over $7 for sweet tea and only received 4 glasses total -- completely unacceptable. This location is an embarrassment to the city. We are very patient people but as soon as we sat down the waitress was complaining about how we shouldn't have been seated and should've had to wait bc she was busy like it was our fault.... She wouldn't refill our drinks, when we ordered our appetizer I asked for blue cheese with the ranch, she brought us our appetizer no blue cheese. No biggie, I just asked again she said oh sure! Went to this location after my granddaughters graduation. The restaurant was hot. They had a few fans at the end of the isles to try to cool the place. Food took forever to come out and when it did, it was cold. Drinks ordered took even longer to receive than the food. We should've walked out. No manager around to talk to. Other customers had gotten up and left without their food because it had taken so long. I paid way too much for the meal that was very mediocre. read more

Our visit started out by a waitress trying to bring us someone else's appetizers. After another few minutes, another waitress asked if we had been greeted. When she asked how long we had been waiting, I said four or five minutes and she made a face like she didn't believe me and said, "It hasn't really been that long, has it?" I tried to stay polite and said we had had enough time to make it through the menu to decide what we wanted and had been waiting several minutes while at least two waitresses waited on the tables all around us. She apologized and took our order. If she wasn't supposed to be our waitress, which she acted like was the case, I'm not sure who it was supposed to be because no one else ever visited our table. However, one waitress waited on tables on both sides of us but never stopped by ours. Our food came out relatively quickly, like perhaps they had rushed our orders for us, which was nice. Everything tasted well and was as we expected so our visit was good the rest of the time. However, the table behind us was shorted two sides with their dishes and had to wait for the sides to come out while they ate the rest of their meals. And a couple across the aisle had to send back their steak because it wasn't cooked as much as she had requested. I'm not sure if it's a staff training issue or mostly a kitchen issue, but this Applebee's is struggling. As a major thoroughfare from Dallas to Houston, I hope they improve their service quality for as many customers as they probably get from travelers. read more

We chose this Applebee's for our son's after-graduation dinner, and we are so glad we did! Reservations were honored & we got great seating, service was impeccable ( The front of the house really worked as a team to make sure we all had everything we needed, even though the restaurant was packed), Drinks and food came out in an orderly fashion, and we never hit bottom on refills. Overall, a very pleasurable experience, worth every penny, and would highly recommend! We will definitely be back! Applebee's has been our go to resturant in corsicana for years. Something has definitely changed (maybe management). The lady that has been greeting warmly at the door was gone. Partitions are down, bar was really slow ( there were inly 4 people in the entire place) we got our drinks with our meals now with appetizer. Server was good, food was not. Broccoli was over cooked, sauce on Fiesta lime chicken was nasty. I ate the chicken but not the sauce & rice. Will pass on Applebee's next time, maybe they will get there act together soon. read more

there isn't much around this area, so finding applebee's was a god send! the service was great, the food was... typical applebee's. i ordered take-out as i was in town for business. the servers and bartenders were all friendly and the portion was very generous. highly recommend coming here if you need a place to eat in the area! read more

The Applebee's in Corsicana is absolutely horrible as far as customer service goes. We called ahead an hour in advance of the time we wanted to arrive and was assured that a table of 15 would be ready for us. Upon arrival, the hostess told us that they couldn't accommodate us and had given our table of 15 to another party. I called back within 5 mins to check to see what the biggest party they could seat was and the girl on the phone told me 6. She also stated that they could parties of 4. I sent my 19 year old son to go get a table and the same hostess told him they were full. Can you seat people or NOT!! Absolutely the worst!! I won't be spending my money at this place. First of all Pepsi tastes terrible, because you do business in Texas, the LEAST you could do is have diet Dr. Pepper...considering 30% of the American population IS diabetic. We stop here quite often typically for drinks and appetizers and occasionally for a late lunch when traveling from Dallas to home. We are usually here in the late afternoon and have always had a pleasant experience largely due to our excellent server, Mike, who is always attentive. For appetizers we especially enjoy the Sriracha Shrimp and the Grilled Chicken Wonton Tacos. read more

The service was uncomfortable in the bar area but the good was really good. I was having lunch with a friend and her daughter, Nya, who loves to play the jukebox. Nya had chosen a few Rhianna songs and the manager rushed over to her and told her she better start keeping it family friendly with her music choice. In any establishment, there is a choice as to what music you would like installed on the jukebox. The manager, Crystal, acted as though Nya was playing vulgar rap music. If you think Rhianna is vulgar, then maybe you should choose which music YOU think is " family friendly " in a neighborhood bar & grill so people don't come there to waste money on songs that will be skipped. I actually love this place. My friends and I always go here. The food isn't the best. We go for the great appetizers, the expensive drinks, the awesome staff and the good conversation we provide. I've been here several times either with my friends, by myself or on a date. I always get treated with respect and the staff is always friendly to me. Plus, they have Wi-Fi and I'm all about that Wi-Fi. The entrées aren't necessarily the best, thus only 4 stars instead of 5, but the appetizers rock.
