We ordered the new OM-cheese and that was a disappointment. Literally NO CHEESE At all... You got like five people in the back, talking, not attending to the people.. like the waiters didn't care and on top of that. The parking lot didn't even have much cars and it wasn't even busy in the inside and they were still slow. None of the workers look like they wanted to be there. They didn't even seem happy. My drink was good though. This place has a very slow lack of professionalism. Eh.. haven't been to Applebee's in literally over ten years. This visit reminded me why there's no need for me to ever go back. I'm still mad I wasted the calories and money here! The food/drink gets 1 star. The $1 margarita gets 1 star but I did manage to finish it. The blue drink special was ok just super sweet and kinda weak. The employees at this location get 4 stars. However, we were seated and watched our black waitress serve 2 tables, and make 3 separate trips to one table (both having black guests at the tables). Yeah, it took about 1 minute to realize why we don't go to Applebee's. We were immediately greeted by a hostess/manager chewing out a waitress in the entry area. The waitress ended up being our waitress and was completely flustered the entire time. She couldn't pay attention to anything being said to her. We were dining at this Applebee's for lunch and one of the waitresses was wearing tights for leggings and you could see her butt threw them. It was so gross to see her walk by while we were eating. I understand that a lot of businesses are getting a little less formal with their uniforms, but this was unacceptable in a dining establishment. I love eating at Applebee's ... each one I go to has very great service and excellent food . But this one my mash potatoes were cold when they came out ... my salad had no dressing on it and my steak wasn't done it was almost rare and I asked for well done... also my waitress (forgot her name) took a very long time refilling my drink bringing my order out to me (so it was cold like it's been sitting for a while) and to give me change back. I always tip way over than I'm suppose to because of the service but tonight I tipped under because of how the waitress treated me. I feel sort of bad but also I got bad service. I have a nenewed enjoyment of Applebee's. Their menu has changed. The wait staff and managers are much more attentive and I love their under 550 calorie dishes. They have 5 to choose from. From sirloin to chicken to shrimp. Just the right amount without feeling too full. They have a new rosemary chicken pasta dish that Vickie adores. I came here on a Saturday night since Hooters had no tables. It was pretty crowded but we were seated pretty quick. Right when I sat down, I started remembering why I stopped coming here. The menu sucks here! There's really not a lot of variety available. It's pretty much either steak or chicken. Since it was Saturday, they had the drink specials. I ordered a blue motorcycle and my bf ordered a sweet tea. My bf sweet tea was super watered down and he opted for a lemonade instead. He also ordered an appetizer when we put our drink order in. I decided 10 mins later that I wanted an appetizer and ordered one from the kiosk at the table. My appetizer came out about 10 mins before his did. My drink came out and it tasted pretty good! No complaints there. Also the waiter assumed that we weren't going to order anything else because I had to tell him that I wanted to order an entree. Food came about 20-30 mins later. The steak was cooked well done and tasted ok. It was pretty bland and had obviously no seasoning. The four cheese Mac and cheese looked and tasted like it had no cheese. The potatoes were the only great thing. My bf ordered and burger that was way too hot and burned his mouth. After paying for the meal using the kiosk, the waiter asked if were ready for the check...so ummmm yeah. My last visit was about 6 months ago and nothing changed.
